Deformed Boson Condensate as a Model of Dark Matter

We consider the condensate of $q$-deformed bosons as a model of dark matter. Our observations demonstrate that for all $q$ values, the system condenses below a $q$-dependent critical temperature $T^{q}_c$. The critical temperature interestingly tends to infinity when $q\rightarrow 0$, so that the $q$- deformed boson gas is always in the condensed phase in this limit irrespective to the temperature. We argue that this has remarkable outcomes, e.g. on the entropy of the system, and also the fraction of the particles in the ground state. Especially, by direct evaluation of the entropy of the system we reveal that it tends to zero at this limit for all temperatures, and also the fraction of particles in the ground state becomes unity. These observations prove the consistency of the model, put it in the list of appropriate candidates for the dark matter. Also, the lower and upper bounds of mass are evaluated using the phase space density and observational data for $q$ deformed Bose-Einstein condensate ($q$-BEC) model.

Analytical approach to the surface plasmon resonance characteristic of metal nanoparticle dimer in dipole-dipole approximation

This theoretical study, deals with the effect of bi-particle interaction on the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) in a dimer which includes two identical metal nanoparticles (NPs). Considering the dipole-dipole interaction in a Drude-like model, an appropriate equation is derived for the permittivity of each NP. The restoration force related to the classical confinement originating from the finite size of NPs is considered and an appropriate adjustment coefficient is considered for this term through analyzing experimental data. Two different polarizations are considered for the laser beam electric field and it is shown that the orientation of electric field has essential role in the linear optical properties of dimer. Numerical investigation is accomplished for a dimer of gold NPs with two different diameters of 4nm and 20nm. For the parallel polarization, dipole-dipole interaction leads to the red-shift of SPR wavelength and increase in its peak value while for the perpendicular polarization, the absolutely opposite results are derived. For all cases, it is shown that SPR wavelength functionality with respect to the geometric factor $a/d$ (NP radius to the separation) can be presented by a cubic equation that fits better than an exponential one suggested by the earlier studies which demonstrates the dipole-dipole characteristic of the interaction. Qualitatively, our results are in good agreement with the other experimental studies.

Modified Drude model for small gold nanoparticles surface plasmon resonance based on the role of classical confinement

We study the effect of restoration force caused by the limited size of a small metallic nanoparticle (MNP) on its linear response to the electric field of incident light. In a semi-classical phenomenological Drude-like model for small MNP, we consider restoration force caused by the displacement of conduction electrons with respect to the ionic background taking into account a free coefficient as a function of diameter of NP in the force term obtained by the idealistic Thomson model in order to adjust the classical approach. All important mechanisms of the energy dissipation such as electron-electron, electron-phonon and electron-NP surface scatterings and radiation are included in the model. In addition a correction term added to the damping factor of mentioned mechanisms in order to rectify the deficiencies of theoretical approaches. To determine the free parameters, the experimental data of extinction cross section of gold NPs with different sizes doped in the glass are used and a good agreement between experimental data and our model is observed. It is shown that by decreasing the diameter of NP, the restoration force becomes larger and classical confinement effect becomes more dominant in the interaction. According to experimental data, the best fitted parameter for the coefficient of restoration force is a third order negative powers function of diameter. The fitted function for the correction damping factor is proportional to the inverse squared wavelength and third order power series of NP diameter. The real and imaginary parts of permittivity for different sizes of gold NPs are presented and it is seen that the imaginary part is more sensitive to the diameter variations. Increase in the NP diameter causes increase in the real part of permittivity and decrease in the imaginary part.

Entanglement Fidelity Ratio for Elastic Collisions in Non-Ideal Two-Temperature Dense Plasma

The quantum diffraction and symmetry effects on the entanglement fidelity (EF) of different elastic electron-electron, ion-ion and electron-ion interactions are investigated in non-ideal dense plasma. The partial wave analysis and an effective screened interaction potential including quantum mechanical diffraction and symmetry effects are employed to obtain the EF in a non-ideal dense plasma. We show that collision energy and temperatures of electron and ion have a destroying role in the entanglement. In fact, by decreasing the temperature of any kind of particles, the quantum effects become dominant and the entanglement grows up. Also, increase in the density of plasma leads to the enhancement of entanglement ratio.

Perturbative approach to the self-focusing of intense X-ray laser beam propagating in thermal quantum plasma

In this theoretical study, the problem of self-focusing of an X-ray intense laser beam in the thermal quantum plasma is studied. Using a relativistic fluid model and taking into account the hydrodynamic pressure of degenerate electrons in the zero temperature limit, the nonlinear momentum equation of electrons is solved by means of a perturbative method and the nonlinear current density of the relativistic degenerate electrons is obtained. Saving only the third-order nonlinearity of the laser beam amplitude, a nonlinear equation describing the interaction of laser beam with the quantum plasma is derived. It is shown that considering the nonlinearity of system through solving nonlinear equation of degenerate electron leads to the originally different wave equation in comparison with outcomes of the approach in which the permittivity of longitudinal waves of quantum plasma is problematically extended to the relativistic case. The evolution of laser beam spot size with Gaussian profile is considered and the effect of quantum terms on the self-focusing quality is studied. It is shown that considering quantum effects leads to the decrease in the self-focusing property and the effect of Bohm tunneling potential is more dominant than the degenerate electrons pressure term.

Thermodynamic Geometry of Normal (Exotic) BTZ Black Hole Regarding to the Fluctuation of Cosmological Constant

We construct the thermodynamic geometry of $2+1$ dimensional normal (exotic) BTZ black hole regarding to the fluctuation of cosmological constant. We argue that while the thermodynamic geometry of black hole without fluctuation of cosmological constant is a two dimensional flat spaces, the three dimensional thermodynamics parameters space including the cosmological constant as a fluctuating parameter will be curved. Some consequence of the fluctuation of cosmological constant will be investigated. We show that such fluctuation leads to a thermodynamics curvature which is correctly singular at critical surface of the system. Also, we consider the validity of first thermodynamics law regarding to the fluctuation of cosmological constant.

Perturbative Thermodynamic Geometry of Nonextensive Ideal Classical, Bose and Fermi Gases

We investigate perturbative thermodynamic geometry of nonextensive ideal Classical, Bose and Fermi gases. We show that the intrinsic statistical interaction of nonextensive Bose (Fermi) gas is attractive (repulsive) similar to the extensive case but the value of thermodynamic curvature is changed by nonextensive parameter. In contrary to the extensive ideal classical gas, the nonextensive one may be divided to two different regimes. According to deviation parameter of the system to the nonextensive case, one can find a special value of fugacity, $z^{*}$, where the sign of thermodynamic curvature is changed. Therefore, we argue that the nonextensive parameter induces an attractive (repulsive) statistical interaction for $z z^{*}$) for an ideal classical gas. Also, according to the singular point of thermodynamic curvature, we consider the condensation of nonextensive Boson gas.

Superdense Coding with Uniformly Accelerated Particle

We study superdense coding with uniformly accelerated particle in single mode approximation and beyond single mode approximation. We use four different functions, the capacity of superdense coding, negativity, discord and the probability of success for evaluating the final results. In single mode approximation, all the four functions behave as expected, however in beyond single mode approximation, except the probability of success, the other three functions represent peculiar behaviors at least for special ranges where the beyond single mode approximation is strong.

Quantum Thermodynamics and Quantum Entanglement Entropies in an Expanding Universe

We investigate an asymptotically spatially flat Robertson-Walker spacetime from two different perspectives. First, using von Neumann entropy, we evaluate the entanglement generation due to the encoded information in spacetime. Then, we work out the entropy of particle creation based on the quantum thermodynamics of the scalar field on the underlying spacetime. We show that the general behavior of both entropies are the same. Therefore, the entanglement can be applied to the customary quantum thermodynamics of the universe. Also, using these entropies, we can recover some information about the parameters of spacetime.

Quantum teleportation with nonclassical correlated states in noninertial frames

Quantum teleportation is studied in noninertial frame, for fermionic case, when Alice and Bob share a general nonclassical correlated state. In noninertial frames two fidelities of teleportation are given. It is found that the average fidelity of teleportation from a separable and nonclassical correlated state is increasing with the amount of nonclassical correlation of the state. However, for any particular nonclassical correlated state, the fidelity of teleportation decreases by increasing the acceleration.

Entanglement of arbitrary spin modes in an expanding universe

Pair particle creation is a well-known effect on the domain of field theory in curved space-time. It is shown that the entanglement generations for spin-0 and spin-1/2 modes are different in Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) space-time. We consider the spin-1 particles in FRW space-time using Duffin-Kemmer-Petiao (DKP) equation and obtain a measure of the generated entanglement. Also, we consider the spin-3/2 particles. We argue that the absolute value of the spin does not play any role in entanglement generation and the differences are due to the bosonic or fermionic properties.

Infinite Statistics Condensate as a Model of Dark Matter

In some models, dark matter is considered as a condensate bosonic system. In this paper, we prove that condensation is also possible for particles that obey infinite statistics and derive the critical condensation temperature. We argue that a condensed state of a gas of very weakly interacting particles obeying infinite statistics could be considered as a consistent model of dark matter.

Condensation of an ideal gas with intermediate statistics on the horizon

We consider a boson gas on the stretched horizon of the Schwartzschild and Kerr black holes. It is shown that the gas is in a Bose-Einstein condensed state with the Hawking temperature $T_c=T_H$ if the particle number of the system be equal to the number of quantum bits of space-time $ N \simeq {A}/{ł_{p}^{2}}$. Entropy of the gas is proportional to the area of the horizon $(A)$ by construction. For a more realistic model of quantum degrees of freedom on the horizon, we should presumably consider interacting bosons (gravitons). An ideal gas with intermediate statistics could be considered as an effective theory for interacting bosons. This analysis shows that we may obtain a correct entropy just by a suitable choice of parameter in the intermediate statistics.

Thermodynamic Geometry of Deformed Bosons and Fermions

We construct the thermodynamic geometry of an ideal q-deformed boson and fermion gas. We investigate some thermodynamic properties such as the stability and statistical interaction. It will be shown that the statistical interaction of q-deformed boson gas is attractive, while it is repulsive for the q-deformed fermion one. Also, we will consider the singular point of the thermodynamic curvature to obtain some new results about the condensation of q-deformed bosons and show that there exist a finite critical phase transition temperature even in low dimensions. It is shown that the thermodynamic curvature of q-deformed boson and fermion quantum gases diverges as a power-law function with respect to temperature at zero temperature limit.

Pseudo-Entanglement Evaluated in Noninertial Frames

We study quantum discord, in addition to entanglement, of bipartite pseudo-entanglement in noninertial frames. It is shown that the entanglement degrades from its maximum value in a stationary frame to a minimum value in an infinite accelerating frame. There is a critical region found in which, for particular cases, entanglement of states vanishes for certain accelerations. The quantum discord of pseudo-entanglement decreases by increasing the acceleration. Also, for a physically inaccessible region, entanglement and nonclassical correlation are evaluated and shown to match the corresponding values of the physically accessible region for an infinite acceleration.

Condensation of an ideal gas obeying non-Abelian statistic

We consider the thermodynamic geometry of an ideal non-Abelian gas. We show that, for a certain value of the fractional parameter and at the relevant maximum value of fugacity, the thermodynamic curvature has a singular point. This indicates a condensation such as Bose-Einstein condensation for non-Abelian statistics and we work out the phase transition temperature in various dimensions.

Thermodynamic Geometry of Fractional Statistics

We extend our earlier study about the fractional exclusion statistics to higher dimensions in full physical range and in the non-relativistic and ultra-relativistic limits. Also, two other fractional statistics, namely Gentile and Polychronakos fractional statistics, will be considered and similarities and differences between these statistics will be explored. Thermodynamic geometry suggests that a two dimensional Haldane fractional exclusion gas is more stable than higher dimensional gases. Also, a complete picture of attractive and repulsive statistical interaction of fractional statistics is given. For a special kind of fractional statistics, by considering the singular points of thermodynamic curvature, we find a condensation for a non-pure bosonic system which is similar to the Bose-Einstein condensation and the phase transition temperature will be worked out.

Nonperturbative Thermodynamic Geometry of Anyon Gas

Following our earlier work on the Ruppeiner geometry of an anyon gas [B. Mirza and H. Mohammadzadeh, Phys. Rev. E {\bf 78,} 021127 (2008)], we will derive nonperturbative thermodynamic curvature of a two-dimensional ideal anyon gas. At different values of the thermodynamic parameter space, some unique and interesting behaviors of the anyon gas are explored. A complete picture of attractive and repulsive phases of the anyon gas is given.
