Fractional Electromagnetic Field Theory and Its Applications

Fractional electromagnetic field theory describes electromagnetic wave propagation through the complex, nonlocal, dissipative, fractal and also recent artificially engineered materials know as fractional metamaterials. In this theory using the fractional Maxwell equations we are also able to consider the well-known effect of electromagnetic memory. In this review we present some applications of the powerful theory of fractional electrodynamics.

Time Fractional Formalism: Classical and Quantum Phenomena

In this review, we present some fundamental classical and quantum phenomena in view of time fractional formalism. Time fractional formalism is a very useful tool in describing systems with memory and delay. We hope that this study can provide a deeper understanding of the physical interpretations of fractional derivative.

Electron Spin Precession for the Time Fractional Pauli Equation

In this work, we aim to extend the application of the fractional calculus in the realm of quantum mechanics. We present a time fractional Pauli equation containing Caputo fractional derivative. By use of the new equation we study the electron spin precession problem in a homogeneous constant magnetic field.

Fractional Modified Special Relativity

Fractional calculus represents a natural tool for describing relativistic phenomena in pseudo-Euclidean space-time. In this study, Fractional modified special relativity is presented. We obtain fractional generalized relation for the time dilation.
