Cross-platform Product Matching Based on Entity Alignment of Knowledge Graph with RAEA model

Product matching aims to identify identical or similar products sold on different platforms. By building knowledge graphs (KGs), the product matching problem can be converted to the Entity Alignment (EA) task, which aims to discover the equivalent entities from diverse KGs. The existing EA methods inadequately utilize both attribute triples and relation triples simultaneously, especially the interactions between them. This paper introduces a two-stage pipeline consisting of rough filter and fine filter to match products from eBay and Amazon. For fine filtering, a new framework for Entity Alignment, Relation-aware and Attribute-aware Graph Attention Networks for Entity Alignment (RAEA), is employed. RAEA focuses on the interactions between attribute triples and relation triples, where the entity representation aggregates the alignment signals from attributes and relations with Attribute-aware Entity Encoder and Relation-aware Graph Attention Networks. The experimental results indicate that the RAEA model achieves significant improvements over 12 baselines on EA task in the cross-lingual dataset DBP15K (6.59% on average Hits@1) and delivers competitive results in the monolingual dataset DWY100K. The source code for experiments on DBP15K and DWY100K is available at github (https://github.com/Mockingjay-liu/RAEA-model-for-Entity-Alignment).

SoK: Stablecoin Designs, Risks, and the Stablecoin LEGO

Stablecoins have become significant assets in modern finance, with a market capitalization exceeding USD 246 billion (May 2025). Yet, despite their systemic importance, a comprehensive and risk-oriented understanding of crucial aspects like their design trade-offs, security dynamics, and interdependent failure pathways often remains underdeveloped. This SoK confronts this gap through a large-scale analysis of 157 research studies, 95 active stablecoins, and 44 major security incidents. Our analysis establishes four pivotal insights: 1) stability is best understood not an inherent property but an emergent, fragile state reliant on the interplay between market confidence and continuous liquidity; 2) stablecoin designs demonstrate trade-offs in risk specialization instead of mitigation; 3) the widespread integration of yield mechanisms imposes a "dual mandate" that creates a systemic tension between the core mission of stability and the high-risk financial engineering required for competitive returns; and 4) major security incidents act as acute "evolutionary pressures", forging resilience by stress-testing designs and aggressively redefining the security frontier. We introduce the Stablecoin LEGO framework, a quantitative methodology mapping historical failures to current designs. Its application reveals that a lower assessed risk strongly correlates with integrating lessons from past incidents. We hope this provides a systematic foundation for building, evaluating, and regulating more resilient stablecoins.

Conditional Generative Modeling for Enhanced Credit Risk Management in Supply Chain Finance

The rapid expansion of cross-border e-commerce (CBEC) has created significant opportunities for small- and medium-sized sellers, yet financing remains a critical challenge due to their limited credit histories. Third-party logistics (3PL)-led supply chain finance (SCF) has emerged as a promising solution, leveraging in-transit inventory as collateral. We propose an advanced credit risk management framework tailored for 3PL-led SCF, addressing the dual challenges of credit risk assessment and loan size determination. Specifically, we leverage conditional generative modeling of sales distributions through Quantile-Regression-based Generative Metamodeling (QRGMM) as the foundation for risk measures estimation. We propose a unified framework that enables flexible estimation of multiple risk measures while introducing a functional risk measure formulation that systematically captures the relationship between these risk measures and varying loan levels, supported by theoretical guarantees. To capture complex covariate interactions in e-commerce sales data, we integrate QRGMM with Deep Factorization Machines (DeepFM). Extensive experiments on synthetic and real-world data validate the efficacy of our model for credit risk assessment and loan size determination. This study explores the use of generative models in CBEC SCF risk management, illustrating their potential to strengthen credit assessment and support financing for small- and medium-sized sellers.

Impacts of export restrictions on the global personal protective equipment trade network during COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a dramatic surge in demand for personal protective equipment (PPE) worldwide. Many countries have imposed export restrictions on PPE to ensure the sufficient domestic supply. The surging demand and export restrictions cause shortage contagions on the global PPE trade network. Here, we develop an integrated network model, which integrates a metapopulation model and a threshold model, to investigate the shortage contagion patterns. The metapopulation model captures disease contagion across countries. The threshold model captures the shortage contagion on the global PPE trade network. Results show that, the shortage contagion patterns are mainly decided by top exporters. Export restrictions exacerbate the shortages of PPE and cause the shortage contagion to transmit even faster than the disease contagion. Besides, export restrictions lead to ineffective and inefficient allocation of PPE around the world, which has no benefits for the world to fight against the pandemic.
