A Closer Look at the Application of Causal Inference in Graph Representation Learning

Modeling causal relationships in graph representation learning remains a fundamental challenge. Existing approaches often draw on theories and methods from causal inference to identify causal subgraphs or mitigate confounders. However, due to the inherent complexity of graph-structured data, these approaches frequently aggregate diverse graph elements into single causal variables, an operation that risks violating the core assumptions of causal inference. In this work, we prove that such aggregation compromises causal validity. Building on this conclusion, we propose a theoretical model grounded in the smallest indivisible units of graph data to ensure that the causal validity is guaranteed. With this model, we further analyze the costs of achieving precise causal modeling in graph representation learning and identify the conditions under which the problem can be simplified. To empirically support our theory, we construct a controllable synthetic dataset that reflects realworld causal structures and conduct extensive experiments for validation. Finally, we develop a causal modeling enhancement module that can be seamlessly integrated into existing graph learning pipelines, and we demonstrate its effectiveness through comprehensive comparative experiments.

Design study on very low Beta spoke cavity for China-ADS

Very low Beta superconducting spoke cavity is one of the key challenges for China-ADS project. In this paper, a new structure of 3*Beta*lamda/2 spoke cavity is first presented. Its RF and mechanical properties are simulated using CST-MWS and ANSYS, and compared with the traditional Beta*lamda/2 spoke structure.

The study of tuning system for BEPC II

Tuning system plays a very important role when superconducting cavity works. It cooperates with other control loops, to adjust the frequency of cavity with high precision, reduce the reflection power, guarantee the stability of beam and ensure the safety of superconducting cavity. This paper focuses mainly on the tuning system working principle, the working state and problems that BEPC (Beijing Electron Positron Collider) II has encountered during operation.

Low beta spoke cavity multipacting analysis

The simulation and analysis for electron multipacting phenomenon in low β spoke superconducting cavity in ADS proton accelerator are proposed. Using both CST and Track3P codes, the electron multipacting calculation for β = 0.12 spoke superconducting cavity is implemented. The methods of multipacting calculation on both codes are studied and described. With the comparison between the calculation results and the cavity vertical test results, the accuracy and reliability of different code on calculating multipacting are analyzed. Multipacting calculation can help to understand the result of vertical test and also can help to do the optimation in cavity design.

Horizontal Test for BEPCII 500MHz Spare Cavity

The horizontal test for BEPCII 500MHz spare cavity has been completed in IHEP. The max voltage of the cavity is 2.17MV, Q0 is 5.78\times108.This paper mainly reports coupler aging parameters before the horizontal test, as well as the parameters during cool-down the change of frequency, loaded Q, vacuum and the deformation of the cavity with temperature. And the test results were analyzed.
