Confirmation of a Sub-Saturn-size transiting exoplanet orbiting a G dwarf: TOI-1194 b and a very low mass companion star: TOI-1251 B from TESS

We report the confirmation of a sub-Saturn-size exoplanet, TOI-1194 b with a mass about $0.456_{-0.051}^{+0.055}$ $M_{J}$, and a very low mass companion star with a mass of about $96.5\pm1.5$ $M_J$, TOI-1251 B. Exoplanet candidates provided by the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) are suitable for further follow-up observations by ground-based telescopes with small and medium apertures. The analysis is performed based on data from several telescopes worldwide, including telescopes in the Sino-German multiband photometric campaign, which aimed at confirming TESS Objects of Interest (TOIs) using ground-based small-aperture and medium-aperture telescopes, especially for long-period targets. TOI-1194 b is confirmed based on the consistent periodic transits depths from the multiband photometric data. We measure an orbital period of $2.310644\pm0.000001$ d, and radius is $0.767_{-0.041}^{+0.045}$ $R_J$, and amplitude of RV curve is $69.4_{-7.3}^{+7.9}$ m/s. TOI-1251 B is confirmed based on the multiband photometric and high-resolution spectroscopic data, whose orbiting period is $5.963054_{-0.000001}^{+0.000002}$ d, the radius is $0.947_{-0.033}^{+0.035}$ $R_J$, and amplitude of RV curve is $9849_{-40}^{+42}$ m/s.

The ground states and the first radially excited states of D-wave vector $ρ$ and $ϕ$ mesons

In this article, we firstly derive two QCD sum rules QCDSR I and QCDSR II which are respectively used to extract observable quantities of the ground states and the first radially excited states of D-wave vector $ρ$ and $ϕ$ mesons. In our calculations, we consider the contributions of vacuum condensates up to dimension-7 in the operator product expansion. The predicted masses for $1^{3}D_{1}$ $ρ$ meson and $2^{3}D_{1}$ $ϕ$ meson are consistent well with the experimental data of $ρ$($1700$) and $ϕ$($2170$). Besides, our analysis indicates that it is reliable to assign the recent reported $Y$($2040$) state as the $2^{3}D_{1}$ $ρ$ meson. Finally, we obtain the decay constants of these states with QCDSR I and QCDSR II. These predictions are helpful not only to reveal the structure of the newly observed $Y$($2040$) state but also to establish $ϕ$ meson and $ρ$ meson families.

The hadronic coupling constants of the lowest hidden-charm pentaquark state with the QCD sum rules in rigorous quark-hadron duality

In this article, we illustrate how to calculate the hadronic coupling constants of the pentaquark states with the QCD sum rules based on rigorous quark-hadron quality, then study the hadronic coupling constants of the lowest diquark-diquark-antiquark type hidden-charm pentaquark state with the spin-parity $J^P={\frac{1}{2}}^-$ in details, and calculate the partial decay widths. The total width $Γ(P_c)=14.32\pm3.31\,\rm{MeV}$ is compatible with the experimental value $Γ_{P_c(4312)} = 9.8\pm2.7^{+ 3.7}_{- 4.5} \mbox{ MeV}$ from the LHCb collaboration, and favors assigning the $P_c(4312)$ to be the $[ud][uc]\bar{c}$ pentaquark state with the $J^P={\frac{1}{2}}^-$. The hadronic coupling constants have the relation $|G_{PD^-Σ_c^{++}}|= \sqrt{2}|G_{P\bar{D}^0Σ_c^+}|\gg |G_{P\bar{D}^0Λ_c^+}|$, and favor the hadronic dressing mechanism. The $P_c(4312)$ maybe have a diquark-diquark-antiquark type pentaquark core with the typical size of the $qqq$-type baryon states, the strong couplings to the meson-baryon pairs $\bar{D}Σ_c$ lead to some pentaquark molecule components, and the $P_c(4312)$ maybe spend a rather large time as the $\bar{D}Σ_c$ molecular state.

Analysis of the 1S and 2S states of the $Λ_Q$ and $Ξ_Q$ with the QCD sum rules

In this article, we study the ground states and the first radial excited states of the flavor antitriplet heavy baryon states $Λ_Q$ and $Ξ_Q$ with the spin-parity $J^P={1\over 2}^{+}$ by carrying out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension $10$ in a consistent way. We observe that the higher dimensional vacuum condensates play an important role, and obtain very stable QCD sum rules with variations of the Borel parameters for the heavy baryon states for the first time. The predicted masses $6.08\pm0.09\,\rm{GeV}$, $2.78\pm0.08\,\rm{GeV}$ and $2.96\pm0.09\,\rm{GeV}$ for the first radial excited states $Λ_b(\rm 2S)$, $Λ_c(\rm 2S)$ and $Ξ_c(\rm 2S)$ respectively are in excellent agreement with the experimental data and support assigning the $Λ_b(6072)$, $Λ_c(2765)$ and $Ξ_c(2980/2970)$ to be the first radial excited states of the $Λ_b$, $Λ_c$ and $Ξ_c$, respectively, the predicted mass $6.24\pm0.07\,\rm{GeV}$ for the $Ξ_b(\rm 2S)$ can be confronted to the experimental data in the future.

The ROSAT Bright Source 1RXS J201607.0+251645: An Active Algol-type Binary

1RXS J201607.0251645 is identified to be an eclipsing binary for the first time. We present the preliminary observations in V band with the 0.6-m telescope for three years and the extensive observations in V and R band with the 0.8-m telescope for six nights respectively. The light curve of the system is EB type. Five light minimum times were obtained and the orbital period of 0.388058d(0.00044d) is determined. The photometric solution given by the 2003-version Wilson-Devinney program suggests the binary is a semi-detached system with the photometric mass ratio 0.895(0.006), which probably comprise a G5 primary and an oversize K5 secondary. The less massive component has completely filled up its Roche lobe, while the other almost fills its Roche lobe with the filling factor of 93.4%. The system shows a varying O'Connell effect in its phase folded diagrams from 2005 to 2007, and is X-ray luminous with log(LXLbol)3.27. Possible mechanisms to account for these two phenomena are discussed. Finally, we infer the binary may be in thermal oscillation predicted by thermal relaxation oscillation (TRO) theory or may evolve into a contact binary.
