Quantum Transitions in Terms of non-Adiabatic Dressed States

Nonadiabatic dressed states of a quantum system interacting with an external electromagnetic field and the environment are presented. The relevant matrix elements within the specified states are found. A closed form expression of the quantum transitions based on the nonadiabatic dressed states is proposed for the first time.

Theoretical and Experimental Evidences of Material Phase Causality. Dynamics-Statistical Interpretation of the Wave Function

The internal phase dynamics of a quantum system is revealed in details. Theoretical and experimental evidences of existence of a causal relation of the phase of the wave function with the dynamics of the quantum system are presented sistematically for the first time. A new, dynamics-statistical interpretation of the quantum mechanics is introduced. A particle-wave duality picture incorporated in the wave function through its phase and amplitude is considered.

Self-Compression and Controllable Guidance of Multi-Millijoule Femtosecond Laser Pulses

Self-compression of multi-millijoule femtosecond laser pulses and dramatic increase of the peak intensity are found in pressurized helium and neon within a range of intensity in which the ionization modification of the material parameters by the pulse is negligible. The pulse propagation is studied by the (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schroedinger equation including basic lowest order optical processes -- diffraction, group velocity dispersion of second order, and Kerr nonlinearity of third order. Smooth and well controllable pulse propagation dynamics is found. Constructing of compressed pulse of controllable parameters at given space target point can be achieved by a proper chose of the pulse energy and/or gas pressure.

Self-Compression of High-Intensity Femtosecond Laser Pulses in Low Dispersion Regime

Self-compression of femtosecond laser pulses and more than an order of magnitude increase of the peak intensity is found in a positive dispersion medium in low dispersion regime based on the (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schr{ö}dinger equation. A method of high-intensity femtosecond pulse formation can be developed on that basis.

Phase sensitive adiabatic states, or does the material phase recognize the physical reality?

Phase sensitive adiabatic states for a quantum system interacting with an electromagnetic field have been derived taking into account all material phase factors of the initial bare states. The adiabatic states so obtained show a traceable phase behavior, causally depending on the initial conditions and the relevant physical processes. Experimental appearance of the material phase effects has been discussed.

Non-adiabatic Semiclassical Dressed States

We introduce non-adiabatic semiclassical dressed states for a quantum system interacting with an electromagnetic field of variable amplitude and phase, and presence of dumping. We also introduce a generalized adiabatic condition, which allows finding of closed form solution for the dressed states. The influence of the non-adiabatic factors on the dressed states due to the amplitude and phase field variations and dumping has been found.
