Mechanics of liquid and gas, or mechanics of the inertless mass I

This monograph is addressed to specialists in the field of theoretical and practical hydrodynamics and related sciences. It was written in 1971 by design engineer Igor Zakharovich Shkurchenko (Russian Federation). Unfortunately, the author died in 2003. The monograph was prepared for publication by the author's daughter, who is the editor of all texts. I. Z. Shkurchenko created four works on fluid and gas mechanics. In 2007, the editor posted the texts of all the works of I.Z. Shkurchenko in this archive. The editor made mistakes. He found them in the first version of the edition. The editor has corrected and supplemented the texts in accordance with the originals and asks the reader to use only the second version (v2) of all texts (2022). As the title implies, the monograph presents a new look at the mechanical movement of liquids and gases, explaining the phenomena associated with the movement of matter in continuous media. The second part of the same name which is the completion of the monograph is also placed by the editor in this archive. It takes into account the properties of real liquids and gases and gives examples of the practical application of the theory. The created theory of fluid and gas mechanics will eliminate discrepancies with practice and thus allow the theory to be guided in practice throughout the entire range of practical use of liquids and gases. This is the answer to the question of what this work gives. This situation will not only improve any technique dealing with liquids and gases (including long-suffering windmills), but the theory will also be indispensable for meteorologists, oceanologists and many other specialists. The author believed that the theory of elasticity and plasticity of materials would also be revised from the point of view of the mechanics of inertless mass.

Mechanics of liquid and gas, or mechanics of the inertless mass II

The second part of the monograph considers the application of the theory of ideal fluid to real fluids and gases. It contains eight examples of the practical application of the theory of inertial mass, a design diagram of a device for measuring dynamic pressure forces, and a calculation of an improved form of a centrifugal pump impeller. In 2007, the editor archived the case studies separately. Now all these examples are included in the text of the monograph, which corresponds to the original. The monograph is addressed to engineers and specialists in the field of theoretical and practical hydrodynamics and related sciences.

The structure of the Sun and the planets of the solar system from the viewpoint of mechanics of the inertless mass I

In this monograph (written in 1973-1974) the author uses the theory of mechanics of the inertless mass to investigate the structure of heavenly bodies of the solar system. The structure of the Sun and planets is the sole reason of the character of their axial rotation, presence or absence of satellites and atmospheres. This structure is one of the main climatic factors for each planet and Sun. It determines the climate and its possible changes. Understanding these processes is very important for determining perspectives of the evolution of the Sun and the planets, including the Earth. This monograph was divided into two parts by editor in 2007. Since author has developed some theoretical positions of "Mechanics of liquids and gas, or mechanics of the inertless mass" (1971), the first Part contains these changes. The Part II contains the investigation that gives us new results and new meaning of the stored information about the Sun and the planets of the solar system. This monograph is addressed to specialists in the field of theoretical and practical hydrodynamics and adjacent sciences. It will be useful for astronomers, meteorologists and geologists.

The energy construction of the Sun and planets of the solar system from the viewpoint of mechanics of the inertless mass

This monograph (1977) is a continuation of the monograph "The construction of the Sun and planets of the solar system from the viewpoint of mechanics of the inertless mass" (refer to: arXiv:physics/0701258, part 1, arXiv:physics/0701259, part 2). This manuscript concerning the studies of the energy structure of the Sun and planets was discovered in the archive of the author in 2009. Being a draft version, it contains some remarks of the author on other subjects and has a free style. The editor has omitted all the retreats of the author. Thus, the work is a final study and is intended for the reader who is familiar with previous studies of the author that are placed in this Archive.

The motion of solids in liquids and gases from the viewpoint of mechanics of the inertless mass

This monograph (written in 1974) is the last part of the author's study in the field of theoretical and practical mechanics of the inertless mass (or mechanics of continuous medium). The investigation enriches the theory and provides complete understanding the essence of such wide-spread phenomena as streamlining, lifting power, wave resistance, and explains particular features of the resistance for a solid moving with a supersonic velocity. A new principle is presented for calculating the screw propeller which does not make a breaker behind the ships. This monograph is addressed to specialists in the field of theoretical and practical hydrodynamics and adjacent sciences. It will be useful for engineers.

Examples of application of mechanics of the inertless mass

These examples are absent in the text of "Mechanics of liquids and gas, or mechanics of the inertless mass", as it was said in "Foreword of the editor" (Part I of this monograph). The editor places the missing text separately since some theoretical and practical positions, including most examples, were developed by the author himself in two his next investigations. Therefore it will be more useful to read "The Examples" after all the monographs on mechanics of the inertless mass, which are in the same archive now. The editor has no other texts of the author on this subject. "The Examples" are addressed to specialists in the field of theoretical and practical hydrodynamics and adjacent sciences.
