Learning Expressive Humanoid Locomotion from Monocular Runway Videos for Robot Fashion Shows

Runway walking requires coordinated control of posture, stride, foot placement, and whole-body motion to effectively present clothing and convey a distinctive style. However, humanoid robots used in fashion shows typically rely on locomotion policies optimized primarily for stability and walking speed, limiting their ability to reproduce expressive, human-like runway motions. In this work, we present an end-to-end framework that transforms monocular runway videos into deployable humanoid locomotion policies through motion recovery, robot retargeting, motion correction, policy training, simulation-based evaluation, and physical deployment. We evaluate the proposed framework on the Booster K1 humanoid robot using runway-style catwalk motions. The learned policy completed every physical trial without falling, while reproducing the characteristic narrow foot placement and coordinated movement of the legs, torso, and arms. The results demonstrate that our proposed training framework enables the Booster K1 to perform stable and expressive catwalk motions, highlighting its potential for humanoid robotic applications in fashion shows and other performance-oriented scenarios.

ROSClaw: An OpenClaw ROS 2 Framework for Agentic Robot Control and Interaction

Foundation models can endow robots with open-ended reasoning, language understanding, and adaptive planning, yet connecting a model to a physical robot today requires bespoke integration that couples perception, actuation, and safety to a single model and platform. We present ROSClaw, a model-agnostic executive layer that integrates the OpenClaw agent runtime with ROS 2, enabling any foundation model to perceive, reason about, and act on any ROS-enabled robot through (i) dynamic capability discovery with standardized affordance injection, (ii) multimodal observation normalization, (iii) pre-execution action validation within a configurable safety envelope, and (iv) structured audit logging. Swapping model backends or robot platforms is a configuration change; tool schemas, safety enforcement, and provenance logging remain invariant. We deploy ROSClaw on three platforms (wheeled, quadruped, humanoid) with four foundation-model backends. Under this controlled substrate, models exhibit up to 4.8 x differences in out-of-policy action proposal rates (3.4 x among frontier models alone) and produce qualitatively distinct physical behaviors from identical commands. A cross-framework parity protocol against ROSA confirms that executive-layer design, not just prompt wording, significantly affects both task completion and safety behavior, establishing ROSClaw as both practical agentic-robot infrastructure and a reproducible measurement instrument for embodied AI.

Lollipop: SVM Rollups on Solana

We present a formal specification for the implementation of Solana virtual machine (SVM) rollups deployed on top of the Solana Layer 1 (L1) blockchain. We further discuss our motivation, implementation, design decisions, limitations, and preliminary results. Overall, this paper is intended to serve as an initial introduction to building such system(s) on top of the Solana L1 blockchain, but does not represent an absolute. Lastly, we comment discuss on extensions of this specification to support SVM rollups on other well-established L1 blockchains systems such as Ethereum.

Robonomics: The Study of Robot-Human Peer-to-Peer Financial Transactions and Agreements

The concept of a blockchain has given way to the development of cryptocurrencies, enabled smart contracts, and unlocked a plethora of other disruptive technologies. But, beyond its use case in cryptocurrencies, and in network coordination and automation, blockchain technology may have serious sociotechnical implications in the future co-existence of robots and humans. Motivated by the recent explosion of interest around blockchains, and our extensive work on open-source blockchain technology and its integration into robotics - this paper provides insights in ways in which blockchains and other decentralized technologies can impact our interactions with robot agents and the social integration of robots into human society.

IoT Platforms for 5G Network and Practical Considerations: A Survey

The fifth generation (5G) mobile network will enable the Internet of Things (IoT) to take a large leap into the age of future computing. As a result of extended connectivity, high speed, reduced latency services being provided by 5G, IoT has experienced and will continue to undergo a remarkable transition in every field of daily life. Furthermore, fog computing will revolutionize the IoT platforms by decentralizing the operations by the cloud and ensuring sustainability with big data, mobility and reduced processing lag. 5G is ubiquitous, reliable, scalable and economic in nature. The features will not only globalize IoT in a broader spectrum, but also make common people interact smartly and efficiently with the environment in real time. In this study, a combined survey is presented on different IoT applications coupled with cloud platforms. Moreover, the capabilities of IoT in the influence of 5G are explored as well as how the IoT platform and services will adopt through 5G are envisaged. Additionally, some open issues triggered by 5G have been introduced to harness the maximum benefit out of this network. Finally, a platform is proposed to implement in the telepresence project based on the investigation and findings.
