Neutrino Phenomenology from Democratic Approach

In this article, we derive the tiny neutrino masses and mixings from the democratic and diagonal texture approach, which consistent with the recent experimental oscillation data. The unitary rotation matrices, which diagonalize the neutrino mass matrices are obtained by a specific parametrization of the Pontecorvo-Maki-Nakagawa-Sakata (PMNS) mixing matrix. From which, we tried to calculate all three mixing angles as well as the Dirac CP-violating phase interms of model mixing parameters. In particular, the deviation from the tribimaximal mixing is explained in this model. Along with the Jarlskog parameter in terms of model parameter and neutrino-less double beta decay (NDBD) has been discussed briefly.

Analyses of scalar potential and lepton flavor violating decays in a model with $A_4$ symmetry

We have considered a model, originally proposed by Ma and Wegman, where the mixing pattern in neutrino sector is explained with three Higgs doublets, six Higgs triplets and $A_4$ symmetry. The mixing pattern is explained with the help of vacuum expectation values (VEVs) of the above mentioned doublets and triplets. In order to study about the VEVs of the scalar fields, we construct the full invariant scalar potential of this model. After minimizing this scalar potential, we have found that two Higgs triplets can acquire zero VEVs. In order to generate non-zero VEVs to all the six Higgs triplets, we have added two more Higgs doublets to the model. Thereafter we have demonstrated that the current neutrino oscillation data can be consistently explained in our model. To study some phenomenological implications of this model, we have worked out on the branching ratios for lepton flavor violating decays.

Neutrino masses and mixing angles in a model with six Higgs triplets and $A_4$ symmetry

We have considered a model \cite{ma-weg}, where masses and a mixing pattern for neutrinos are governed by six Higgs triplets and $A_4$ symmetry. In this model we have applied a certain diagonalisation procedure through which we have shown that neutrino masses can have both normal or inverted hierarchy. We have also shown that current neutrino oscillation data can be explained in this model.

Phenomenological Study of Type II Seesaw with $Δ(27)$ Symmetry

We discuss the phenomenology of type-II seesaw by extending the Standard Model with additional Higgs doublets and scalar triplets additionally invoked with $Δ(27)$ flavor symmetry for the explanation of non-zero neutrino masses and mixings, matter-antimatter asymmetry and lepton flavor violation. The non-zero neutrino masses can be realized via type-II seesaw mechanism by introducing scalar triplets transforming as triplets under $Δ(27)$ while we add additional $SU(2)_L$ scalar doublets to have correct charge lepton masses. We further demonstrate with detailed numerical analysis in agreement with neutrino oscillation data like non-zero reactor mixing angle, $δ_{CP}$, the sum of the light neutrino masses, two mass squared differences and its implication to neutrinoless double beta decay. We also discuss on the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the universe through leptogenesis with the decay of TeV scale scalar triplets and variation of CP-asymmetry with input model parameters. Finally, we comment on implication to lepton flavor violating decays like $μ\to e γ$, $μ\to 3 e$ processes.
