Etingof conjecture for quantized quiver varieties

We compute the number of finite dimensional irreducible modules for the algebras quantizing Nakajima quiver varieties. We get a lower bound for all quivers and vectors of framing and provide an exact count in the case when the quiver is of finite type or is of affine type and the framing is the coordinate vector at the extending vertex. The latter case precisely covers Etingof's conjecture on the number of finite dimensional irreducible representations for Symplectic reflection algebras associated to wreath-product groups. We use several different techniques, the two principal ones are categorical Kac-Moody actions and wall-crossing functors. We finish the paper outlining some future directions of research.

Supports of simple modules in cyclotomic Cherednik categories O

The goal of this paper is to compute the supports of simple modules in the categories $\mathcal{O}$ for the rational Cherednik algebras associated to groups $G(\ell,1,n)$. For this we compute some combinatorial maps on the set of simples: wall-crossing bijections and a certain $\mathfrak{sl}_\infty$-crystal associated to a Heisenberg algebra action on a Fock space.

Goldie ranks of primitive ideals and indexes of equivariant Azumaya algebras

Let $\mathfrak{g}$ be a semisimple Lie algebra. We establish a new relation between the Goldie rank of a primitive ideal $\mathcal{J}\subset U(\mathfrak{g})$ and the dimension of the corresponding irreducible representation $V$ of an appropriate finite W-algebra. Namely, we show that $\operatorname{Grk}(\mathcal{J}) \leqslant \dim V/d_V$, where $d_V$ is the index of a suitable equivariant Azumaya algebra on a homogeneous space. We also compute $d_V$ in representation theoretic terms.

Dimensions of modular irreducible representations of semisimple Lie algebras

In this paper we classify and give Kazhdan-Lusztig type character formulas for equivariantly irreducible representations of Lie algebras of reductive algebraic groups over a field of large positive characteristic. The equivariance is with respect to a group whose connected component is a torus. Character computation is done in two steps. First, we treat the case of distinguished $p$-characters: those that are not contained in a proper Levi. Here we essentially show that the category of equivariant modules we consider is a cell quotient of an affine parabolic category $\mathcal{O}$. For this, we prove an equivalence between two categorifications of a parabolically induced module over the affine Hecke algebra conjectured by the first named author. For the general nilpotent $p$-character, we get character formulas by explicitly computing the duality operator on a suitable equivariant K-group.

Harish-Chandra bimodules over quantized symplectic singularities

In this paper we classify the irreducible Harish-Chandra bimodules with full support over filtered quantizations of conical symplectic singularities under the condition that none of the slices to codimension 2 symplectic leaves has type $E_8$. More precisely, we show that the top quotient $\overline{\operatorname{HC}}(\mathcal{A}_λ)$ of the category of Harish-Chandra bimodules over the quantization $\mathcal{A}_λ$ with parameter $λ$ embeds into the category of representations of the algebraic fundamental group, $Γ$, of the open leaf. The image coincides with the representations of $Γ/Γ_λ$, where $Γ_λ$ is a normal subgroup of $Γ$ that can be recovered from the quantization parameter $λ$. As an application of our results, we describe the Lusztig quotient group in terms of the geometry of the normalization of the orbit closure in almost all cases.

Derived equivalences for Symplectic reflection algebras

In this paper we study derived equivalences for Symplectic reflection algebras. We establish a version of the derived localization theorem between categories of modules over Symplectic reflection algebras and categories of coherent sheaves over quantizations of Q-factorial terminalizations of the symplectic quotient singularities. To do this we construct a Procesi sheaf on the terminalization and show that the quantizations of the terminalization are simple sheaves of algebras. We will also sketch some applications: to the generalized Bernstein inequality and to perversity of wall crossing functors.

On inductive construction of Procesi bundles

A Procesi bundle, a rank $n!$ vector bundle on the Hilbert scheme $H_n$ of $n$ points in $\mathbb{C}^2$, was first constructed by Mark Haiman in his proof of the $n!$ theorem by using a complicated combinatorial argument. Since then alternative constructions of this bundle were given by Bezrukavnikov-Kaledin and by Ginzburg. In this paper we give a geometric/ representation-theoretic proof of the inductive formula for the Procesi bundle that plays an important role in Haiman's construction. Then we use the inductive formula to prove a weaker version of the $n!$ theorem: the normalization of Haiman's isospectral Hilbert scheme is Cohen-Macaulay and Gorenstein, and the normalization morphism is bijective. This improves an earlier result of Ginzburg.

On dimension growth of modular irreducible representations of semisimple Lie algebras

In this paper we investigate the growth with respect to $p$ of dimensions of irreducible representations of a semisimple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ over $\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p$. More precisely, it is known that for $p\gg 0$, the irreducibles with a regular rational central character $λ$ and $p$-character $χ$ are indexed by a certain canonical basis in the $K_0$ of the Springer fiber of $χ$. This basis is independent of $p$. For a basis element, the dimension of the corresponding module is a polynomial in $p$. We show that the canonical basis is compatible with the two-sided cell filtration for a parabolic subgroup in the affine Weyl group defined by $λ$. We also explain how to read the degree of the dimension polynomial from a filtration component of the basis element. We use these results to establish conjectures of the second author and Ostrik on a classification of the finite dimensional irreducible representations of W-algebras, as well as a strengthening of a result by the first author with Anno and Mirkovic on real variations of stabilities for the derived category of the Springer resolution.

On Refined Filtration By Supports for Rational Cherednik Categories O

For a complex reflection group $W$ with reflection representation $\mathfrak{h}$, we define and study a natural filtration by Serre subcategories of the category $\mathcal{O}_c(W, \mathfrak{h})$ of representations of the rational Cherednik algebra $H_c(W, \mathfrak{h})$. This filtration refines the filtration by supports and is analogous to the Harish-Chandra series appearing in the representation theory of finite groups of Lie type. Using the monodromy of the Bezrukavnikov-Etingof parabolic restriction functors, we show that the subquotients of this filtration are equivalent to categories of finite-dimensional representations over generalized Hecke algebras. When $W$ is a finite Coxeter group, we give a method for producing explicit presentations of these generalized Hecke algebras in terms of finite-type Iwahori-Hecke algebras. This yields a method for counting the number of irreducible objects in $\mathcal{O}_c(W, \mathfrak{h})$ of given support. We apply these techniques to count the number of irreducible representations in $\mathcal{O}_c(W, \mathfrak{h})$ of given support for all exceptional Coxeter groups $W$ and all parameters $c$, including the unequal parameter case. This completes the classification of the finite-dimensional irreducible representations of $\mathcal{O}_c(W, \mathfrak{h})$ for exceptional Coxeter groups $W$ in many new cases.

Representation theory of quantized Gieseker varieties, I

We study the representation theory of quantizations of Gieseker moduli spaces. We describe the categories of finite dimensional representations for all parameters and categories O for special values of parameters. We find the values of parameters, where the quantizations have finite homological dimension, and establish abelian localization theorem. We describe the two-sided ideals. Finally, we determine annihilators of the irreducible objects in categories O for some special choices of one-parameter subgroups.

Modular representation theory in type A via Soergel bimodules

In this paper we express certain multiplicities in modular representation-theoretic categories of type A in terms of affine p-Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials. The representation-theoretic categories we deal with include the categories of rational representations of GL(n), representations of the quantum group for gl(n), and representations of (degenerate) cyclotomic Hecke and Schur algebras, where the base field is an algebraically closed field of arbitrary prime characteristic. In order to approach this problem we define Soergel-theoretic versions of parabolic categories O in characteristic p. We show that these categories have many common features with the classical parabolic categories O; for example, they are highest weight. We produce a homomorphism from a (finite or affine) type A 2-Kac-Moody category to the diagrammatic version of the category of singular Soergel bimodules (again, of finite or affine type A). This leads to a categorical Kac-Moody action on the Soergel-theoretic categories O. Then we relate the representation-theoretic categories to Soergel-theoretic ones by proving a uniqueness result for highest weight categorical actions on Fock spaces.

Etingof conjecture for quantized quiver varieties II: affine quivers

We study the representation theory of quantizations of Gieseker moduli spaces. Namely, we prove the localization theorems for these algebras, describe their finite dimensional representations and two-sided ideals as well as their categories O in some special cases. We apply this to prove our conjecture with Bezrukavnikov on the number of finite dimensional irreducible representations of quantized quiver varieties for quivers of affine type.

Wall-crossing functors for quantized symplectic resolutions: perversity and partial Ringel dualities

In this paper we study wall-crossing functors between categories of modules over quantizations of symplectic resolutions. We prove that wall-crossing functors through faces are perverse equivalences and use this to verify an Etingof type conjecture for quantizations of Nakajima quiver varieties associated to affine quivers. In the case when there is a Hamiltonian torus action on the resolution with finitely many fixed points so that it makes sense to speak about categories $\mathcal{O}$ over quantizations, we introduce new standardly stratified structures on these categories $\mathcal{O}$ and relate the wall-crossing functors to the Ringel duality functors associated to these standardly stratified structures.

On categories O for quantized symplectic resolutions

In this paper we study categories O over quantizations of symplectic resolutions admitting Hamiltonian tori actions with finitely many fixed points. In this generality, these categories were introduced by Braden, Licata, Proudfoot and Webster. We establish a family of standardly stratified structures (in the sense of the author and Webster) on these categories O. We use these structures to study shuffling functors of Braden, Licata, Proudfoot and Webster (called cross-walling functors in this paper). Most importantly, we prove that all cross-walling functors are derived equivalences that define an action of the Deligne groupoid of a suitable real hyperplane arrangement.

Tensor product categorifications and the super Kazhdan-Lusztig conjecture

We give a new proof of the "super Kazhdan-Lusztig conjecture" for the Lie super algebra $\mathfrak{gl}_{n|m}(\mathbb{C})$ as formulated originally by the first author. We also prove for the first time that any integral block of category O for $\mathfrak{gl}_{n|m}(\mathbb{C})$ (and also all of its parabolic analogs) possesses a graded version which is Koszul. Our approach depends crucially on an application of the uniqueness of tensor product categorifications established recently by the second two authors.

Derived equivalences for Rational Cherednik algebras

Let W be a complex reflection group and H_c(W) the Rational Cherednik algebra for $W$ depending on a parameter c. One can consider the category O for H_c(W). We prove a conjecture of Rouquier that the categories O for H_c(W) and H_{c'}(W) are derived equivalent provided the parameters c,c' have integral difference. Two main ingredients of the proof are a connection between the Ringel duality and Harish-Chandra bimodules and an analog of a deformation technique developed by the author and Bezrukavnikov. We also show that some of the derived equivalences we construct are perverse.

Rational Cherednik algebras and categorification

In this survey article we review Kac-Moody and Heisenberg algebra actions on the categories $\mathcal{O}$ of the rational Cherednik algebras associated to groups $G(\ell,1,n)$. Using these actions we solve basic representation theoretic problems for these categories such as the classification of finite dimensional irreducible representations and computation of characters of the irreducibles.

Proof of Varagnolo-Vasserot conjecture on cyclotomic categories O

We prove an asymptotic version of a conjecture by Varagnolo and Vasserot on an equivalence between the category O for a cyclotomic Rational Cherednik algebra and a suitable truncation of an affine parabolic category O. We prove an asymptotic version of a conjecture by Varagnolo and Vasserot on an equivalence between the category O for a cyclotomic Rational Cherednik algebra and a suitable truncation of an affine parabolic category O that, in particular, implies Rouquier's conjecture on the decomposition numbers in the former. Our proof uses two ingredients: an extension of Rouquier's deformation approach as well as categorical actions on highest weight categories and related combinatorics.
