Soliton structures in a molecular chain model with saturation

In the present work, we study, by means of a one-dimensional lattice model, the collective excitations corresponding to intra molecular ones of a chain like proteins. It is shown that such excitations are described by the Nonlinear Schrodinger equation with saturation. The solutions obtained here are the bell solitons, bubbles, kinks and crowdons. Since they belong to different sectors on the parametric space, the bubble condensation could give place to some important changes of face in this kind of nonlinear system. Additionally, it is shown that the limiting velocity of the solitons is the velocity of sound waves corresponding to longitudinal vibrations of molecules.

Noncommutivity and Scalar Field Cosmology

In this work we extend and apply a previous proposal to study noncommutative cosmology to the FRW cosmological background coupled to a scalar field, this is done in classical and quantum scenarios. In both cases noncommutativity is introduced in the gravitational field as well as in the scalar field through a deformation of minisuperspace and are able to find exact solutions. Finally, the effects of noncommutativity on the classical evolution are analyzed.

Non Commutative Bianchi type II Quantum Cosmology

In this paper we present the noncommutative Bianchi Class A cosmological models coupled to barotropic perfect fluid. The commutative and noncommutative quantum solution to the Wheeler-DeWitt equation for any factor ordering, to the anisotropic Bianchi type II cosmological model are found, using a stiff fluid ($γ=1$). In our toy model, we introduce noncommutative scale factors, is say, we consider that all minisuperspace variables $\rm q^i$ does not commute, so the simplectic structure was modified.

(Non)commutative isotropization in Bianchi I with Barotropic perfect fluid and $Λ$ Cosmological

We present the classical solutions to the Einstein field equations derived using the WKB-like and Hamilton procedures. The investigation is carried out in the commutative and noncommutative scenario for the Bianchi type I cosmological model coupled to barotropic perfect fluid and $λ$ Cosmological for two different gauges. Noncommutativity is achieved by modifying the symplectic structure considering that all minisuperspace variables $\rm q^i$ does not commute and by a deformation between all the minisuperspace variables. In the gauge N=1, it is possible to obtain that the anisotropic parameter $\rm β_{\pm nc}$ tend to a constant curvature for large period of time considering different values in the noncommutative parameters $θ$ and cosmological term. However, this behavior give the idea that is necessary introduce other class of matter in the models, for to have a real isotropization in the model, such as dark energy or dark matter.

Iso-spectral potential and inflationary quantum cosmology

Using the factorization approach of quantum mechanics, we obtain a family of isospectral scalar potentials for power law inflationary cosmology. The construction is based on a scattering Wheeler-DeWitt solution. These iso-spectrals have new features, they give a mechanism to end inflation, as well as the possibility to have new inflationary epochs. The procedure can be extended to other cosmological models.

Scalar potentials out of canonical quantum cosmology

Using canonical quantization of a flat FRW cosmological model containing a real scalar field $ϕ$ endowed with a scalar potential $V(ϕ)$, we are able to obtain exact and semiclassical solutions of the so called Wheeler-DeWitt equation for a particular family of scalar potentials. Some features of the solutions and their classical limit are discussed.

FRW cosmological model inside an isolated Schwarzschild black hole

Using the canonical quantum theory of spherically symmetric pure gravitational systems, we present a direct correspondence between the Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) cosmological model in the interior of a Schwarzschild black hole and the nth energy eigenstate of a linear harmonic oscillator. Such type of universe has a quantized mass of the order of the Planck mass and harmonic oscillator wave functions

Classical and quantum time dependent solutions in string theory

Using the ontological interpretation of quantum mechanics in a particular sense, we obtain the classical behaviour of the scale factor and two scalar fields, derived from a string effective action for the FRW time dependent model. Besides, the Wheeler-DeWitt equation is solved exactly. We speculate that the same procedure could also be applied to S-branes.

Inflation from Susy quantum cosmology

We propose a realization of inverted hybrid inflation scenario in the context of n=2 supersymmetric quantum cosmology. The spectrum of density fluctuations is calculated in the de Sitter regimen as a function of the gravitino and the Planck mass, and explicit forms for the wave function of the universe are found in the WKB regimen for a FRW closed and flat universes.

Classical solutions from quantum regime for barotropic FRW model

The quantization of gravity coupled to barotropic perfect fluid as matter field and cosmological constant is made and the wave function can be determined for any $κ$ in the FRW minisuperspace model. The meaning of the existence of the classical solution is discussed in the WKB semiclassical approximation

Factorization approach for barotropic FRW model with a cosmological constant

We apply the technique of standard supersymmetric factorization for any q factor ordering in the Wheeler-DeWitt (WDW) equation for barotropic Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) minisuperspace model, including the cosmological term. The resulting wave functions of the universe are exhibited as one-parameter families, which for particular values of the $γ$ parameter of the barotropic model are exactly found.

Transform of Riccati equation of constant coefficients through fractional procedure

We use a particular fractional generalization of the ordinary differential equations that we apply to the Riccati equation of constant coefficients. By this means the latter is transformed into a modified Riccati equation with the free term expressed as a power of the independent variable which is of the same order as the order of the applied fractional derivative. We provide the solutions of the modified equation and employ the results for the case of the cosmological Riccati equation of FRW barotropic cosmologies that has been recently introduced by Faraoni

Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics for Bianchi Class A models

In this work we present cosmological quantum solutions for all Bianchi Class A cosmological models obtained by means of supersymmetric quantum mechanics . We are able to write one general expression for all bosonic components occuring in the Grassmann expansion of the wave function of the Universe for this class of models. These solutions are obtained by means of a more general ansatz for the so-called master equations.

Ermakov approach for minisuperspace oscillators

The WDW equation of arbitrary Hartle-Hawking factor ordering for several minisuperspace universe models, such as the pure gravity FRW and Taub ones, is mapped onto the dynamics of corresponding classical oscillators. The latter ones are studied by the classical Ermakov invariant method, which is a natural aproach in this context. For the more realistic case of a minimally coupled massive scalar field, one can study, within the same type of approach, the corresponding squeezing features as a possible means of describing cosmological evolution. Finally, we comment on the analogy with the accelerator physics
