Dilepton production in proton-proton collisions at top RHIC energy

We study dielectron production in proton-proton collisions at top RHIC beam energy within an extended statistical hadronization model. The invariant mass spectrum of correlated dielectron pairs is evaluated in the low invariant mass region and calculated results are compared with the PHENIX experiment. The model is found to be able to describe the data very well up to invariant masses of 1 GeV with few adjustable parameters.

Statistical hadronization model description for rapidity densities at RHIC

The rapidity densities in Au-Au collisions at center-of-mass energies 200 and 130 A GeV measured at Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider by STAR and PHENIX collaborations are analyzed within the statistical hadronization model at chemical freeze-out. We find that the model can describe the experimental rapidity densities well. The corresponding chemical freeze-out parameters are determined and they are seen to be in agreement with what we expect from our previous analyzes at lower beam energies at AGS and SPS.

Freeze Out Process with In-Medium Nucleon Mass

We investigate the kinetic freeze out scenario of a nucleon gas through a finite layer. The in-medium mass modification of nucleons and it's impact on the freeze out process is studied. A considerable modification of the thermodynamical parameters temperature, flow-velocity, energy density and particle density has been found in comparison with evaluations which use a constant vacuum nucleon mass.

Chemical equilibrium study at SPS 158A GeV

A detailed study of chemical freeze-out in nucleus-nucleus collisions at beam energy 158A GeV is presented. By analyzing hadronic multiplicities within the statistical hadronization approach, the chemical equilibration of p-p, C-C, Si-Si and Pb-Pb systems is studied as a function of the number of participating nucleons in the system. Additionally, Two Component statistical hadronization model is applied to the data and is found to be able to explain the observed strangeness hadronic phase space under-saturation.

Study on chemical equilibrium in nucleus-nucleus collisions at relativistic energies

We present a detailed study of chemical freeze-out in nucleus-nucleus collisions at beam energies of 11.6, 30, 40, 80 and 158A GeV. By analyzing hadronic multiplicities within the statistical hadronization approach, we have studied the chemical equilibration of the system as a function of center of mass energy and of the parameters of the source. Additionally, we have tested and compared different versions of the statistical model, with special emphasis on possible explanations of the observed strangeness hadronic phase space under-saturation.
