Modified zeta functions as kernels of integral operators

The modified zeta functions $\sum_{n \in K} n^{-s}$, where $K \subset \N$, converge absolutely for $\Re s > 1/2$. These generalise the Riemann zeta function which is known to have a meromorphic continuation to all of $\C$ with a single pole at $s=1$. Our main result is a characterisation of the modified zeta functions that have pole-like behaviour at this point. This behaviour is defined by considering the modified zeta functions as kernels of certain integral operators on the spaces $L^2(I)$ for symmetric and bounded intervals $I \subset \R$. We also consider the special case when the set $K \subset \N$ is assumed to have arithmetic structure. In particular, we look at local $L^p$ integrability properties of the modified zeta functions on the abscissa $\Re s=1$ for $p \in [1,\infty]$.

On the boundary behaviour of the Hardy spaces of Dirichlet series and a frame bound estimate

A range of Hardy-like spaces of ordinary Dirichlet series, called the Dirichlet-Hardy spaces $\Hp^p$, $p \geq 1$, have been the focus of increasing interest among researchers following a paper of Hedenmalm, Lindqvist and Seip in Duke Math. J 86 (1997), 1-37. The Dirichlet series in these spaces converge on a certain half-plane, where one may also define the classical Hardy spaces $H^p$. In this paper, we compare the boundary behaviour of elements in $\Hp^p$ and $H^p$. Moreover, Carleson measures of the spaces $\Hp^p$ are studied. Our main result shows that for certain cases the following statement holds true. Given an interval on the boundary of the half-plane of definition and a function in the classical Hardy space, it possible to find a function in the corresponding Dirichlet-Hardy space such that their difference has an analytic continuation across this interval.

Local interpolation in Hilbert spaces of Dirichlet series

We denote by $\Hp$ the Hilbert space of ordinary Dirichlet series with square-summable coefficients. The main result is that a bounded sequence of points in the half-plane $σ>1/2$ is an interpolating sequence for $\Hp$ if and only if it is an interpolating sequence for the Hardy space $H^2$ of the same half-plane. Similar local results are obtained for Hilbert spaces of ordinary Dirichlet series that relate to Bergman and Dirichlet spaces of the half-plane $σ>1/2$.
