Improved Convergence and Approximation properties of Baskakov-Durrmeyer Operators

In this paper, we describe two novel changes to the Baskakov-Durrmeyer operators that improve their approximation performance. These improvements are especially designed to produce higher rates of convergence, with orders of one or two. This is a major improvement above the linear rate of convergence commonly associated with conventional Baskakov-Durrmeyer operators. Our research goes thoroughly into the approximation features of these modified operators, providing a thorough examination of their convergence behavior. We concentrate on calculating precise convergence rates, providing thorough error estimates that demonstrate the new operators' efficiency as compared to the classical version. In addition, we construct Voronovskaja-type formulae for these operators, which provide insights into the asymptotic behavior of the approximation process as the operator's degree grows. By exploring these aspects, we demonstrate that the proposed modifications not only surpass the classical operators in terms of convergence speed but also offer a more refined approach to error estimation, making them a powerful tool for approximation theory.

Fractional $\alpha$-Bernstein-Kantorovich operators of order $\beta$: A new construction and approximation results

In the current article, we establish a distinct version of the operators defined by Berwal \emph{et al.}, which is the Kantorovich type modification of $\alpha$-Bernstein operators to approximate Lebesgue's integrable functions. We define its modification that can preserve the linear function and analyze its characteristics. Additionally, we construct the bivariate of blending type operators by Berwal \emph{et al.}. We analyze both its the convergence and error of approximation properties by using the conventional tools of approximation theory. Finally, we demonstrate our results by presenting examples that highlight graphical visuals using MATLAB.

Contextual Beamforming: Exploiting Location and AI for Enhanced Wireless Telecommunication Performance

The pervasive nature of wireless telecommunication has made it the foundation for mainstream technologies like automation, smart vehicles, virtual reality, and unmanned aerial vehicles. As these technologies experience widespread adoption in our daily lives, ensuring the reliable performance of cellular networks in mobile scenarios has become a paramount challenge. Beamforming, an integral component of modern mobile networks, enables spatial selectivity and improves network quality. However, many beamforming techniques are iterative, introducing unwanted latency to the system. In recent times, there has been a growing interest in leveraging mobile users' location information to expedite beamforming processes. This paper explores the concept of contextual beamforming, discussing its advantages, disadvantages and implications. Notably, the study presents an impressive 53% improvement in signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) by implementing the adaptive beamforming (MRT) algorithm compared to scenarios without beamforming. It further elucidates how MRT contributes to contextual beamforming. The importance of localization in implementing contextual beamforming is also examined. Additionally, the paper delves into the use of artificial intelligence schemes, including machine learning and deep learning, in implementing contextual beamforming techniques that leverage user location information. Based on the comprehensive review, the results suggest that the combination of MRT and Zero forcing (ZF) techniques, alongside deep neural networks (DNN) employing Bayesian Optimization (BO), represents the most promising approach for contextual beamforming. Furthermore, the study discusses the future potential of programmable switches, such as Tofino, in enabling location-aware beamforming.

Curvatures on homogeneous Finsler spaces

The main aim of this article is to calculate explicit formula for S-curvature in homogeneous generalized m-Kropina metric. Further, we also deduce mean Berwald curvature for homogeneous generalized m-Kropina metric from S-curvature.

On the flag curvature of a homogeneous Finsler sapce with generalized $m$-Kropina metric

In this paper, first, we give an explicit formula for the flag curvature of a homogeneous Finsler space with generalized $m$-Kropina metric. Then, we show that, under a mild condition, the two definitions of naturally reductive homogeneous Finsler space are equivalent for afore said metric. Finally, we study the flag curvature of naturally reductive homogeneous Finsler spaces with generalized $m$-Kropina metric.

Approximation Of Function By $α-$Baskakov Durrmeyer Type Operators

In the present note, we give the generalization of $α-$Baskakov Durrmeyer operators depending on a real parameter $ρ$ > 0. We present the approximation results in Korovkin and weighted Korovkin spaces. We also prove the order of approximation, rate of approximation for these operators. In the end, we verify our results with the help of numerical examples by using Mathematica.

Better approximation of function by $α-$Bernstein-Păltănea operators

In this paper, we present a new type of $α-$Bernstein-Păltănea operators having a better order of approximation than itself. We establish some approximation results concerning the rate of convergence, error estimation and asymptotic formulas for the new modifications. Also, the theoretical results are verified by using MAPLE algorithms.

IoT Blockchain Solution for Air Quality Monitoring in SmartCities

IoT cloud enabled societal applications have dramatically increased in the recent past due to the thrust for innovations, notably through startup initiatives, in various sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, industry, and so forth. The existing IoT cloud solutions have led practitioners or researchers to a haphazard clutter of serious security hazards and performance inefficiencies. This paper proposes a blockchain enabled IoT cloud implementation to tackle the existing issues in smart cities. It particularly highlights the implementation of chaincodes for air quality monitoring systems in SmartCities; the proposed architecture named as IoT enabled Blockchain for Air Quality Monitoring System (IB-AQMS) is illustrated using experiments. Experimental results were carried out and the findings were disclosed in the paper.

A Secure and Smart Framework for Preventing Ransomware Attack

Nowadays security is major concern for any user connected to the internet. Various types of attacks are to be performed by intruders to obtaining user information as manin-middle attack, denial of service, malware attacks etc. Malware attacks specifically ransomware attack become very famous recently. Ransomware attack threaten the users by encrypting their most valuable data, lock the user screen, play some random videos and by various more means. Finally attacker take benefits by users through paid ransom. In this paper, we propose a framework which prevent the ransomware attack more appropriately using various techniques as blockchain, honeypot, cloud & edge computing. This framework is analysed mainly through the IoT devices and generalized to the any malware attack.

An Ultimate Approach of Mitigating Attacks in RPL Based Low Power Lossy Networks

The Routing Protocol for Low-Power and Lossy Networks (RPL) is the existing routing protocol for Internet of Things (IoT). RPL is a proactive, lightweight, Distance Vector protocol which offers security against various forms of routing attacks. Still, there are various attacks(as rank, version attacks and many more ) which is possible in this network due to problem of unauthenticated or unencrypted control frames, centralized root controller, compromised or unauthenticated devices and many more ways. There are various solutions present in the literature but every solution has its pros and cons. There is no appropriate system framework till now which completely solves these all issues. So, we present an ultimate approach to mitigate these RPL attacks more efficiently and effectively. We use IDS based system for internal attacks and a mini-firewall for removing the external attacks. In IDS based approach, we use intrusion detection system at multiple locations for analyzing the behaviour of nodes. The final decision whether the node is attacker or not depends on mainly three things as: trust between the neighbouring nodes, local decision by multiple sink nodes and global decision by root node. We also use some blockchain features in this framework for better internal security. We use some threshold values and rules in mini-firewall for removing external attacks. In this paper, we provide the proposed approach and theoretical analysis of this approach which provide better protection from these attacks than any other method.

Visualizing BACnet data to facilitate humans in building-security decision-making

Building automation systems (BAS) are interlinked networks of hardware and software, which monitor and control events in the buildings. One of the data communication protocols used in BAS is Building Automation and Control networking protocol (BACnet) which is an internationally adopted ISO standard for the communication between BAS devices. Although BAS focus on providing safety for inhabitants, decreasing the energy consumption of buildings and reducing their operational cost, their security suffers due to the inherent complexity of the modern day systems. The issues such as monitoring of BAS effectively present a significant challenge, i.e., BAS operators generally possess only partial situation awareness. Especially in large and inter-connected buildings, the operators face the challenge of spotting meaningful incidents within large amounts of simultaneously occurring events, causing the anomalies in the BAS network to go unobserved. In this paper, we present the techniques to analyze and visualize the data for several events from BAS devices in a way that determines the potential importance of such unusual events and helps with the building-security decision making. We implemented these techniques as a mobile (Android) based application for displaying application data and as tools to analyze the communication flows using directed graphs.

Uniform Versions of Index for Uniform Spaces with Free Involutions

In this paper, uniform versions of index for uniform spaces equipped with free involutions are introduced. They are mainly based on B-index defined and studied by C.-T. Yang in 1955, index studied by Conner and Floyd in 1960 and further development well collected by Matou$\check{s}$ek in his book on using the Borsuk-Ulam theorem in 2003. Examples of uniform spaces with finite B-index but infinite uniform version of index are given. It is also seen that for a uniform space $X$ with a free involution $T$, a dense $T$-invariant subspace is capable of determining the uniform version of index of $(X,T)$. In the end, the concept of coloring is carried over to uniform set up and, to a certain extent, connection between uniform versions of coloring and uniform versions of index is also established.

Free actions of connected Lie groups of rank one on certain spaces

Let $G$ be a connected Lie group of rank one. In this paper the existence of free actions of group $G$ on spheres, real projective spaces and lens spaces has been studied. Most of the results have been obtained for finitistic spaces with cohomology ring isomorphic to the cohomology ring of these spaces. The cohomology algebra of the orbit space has been determined in the case of free $G$-action. The non-existence of $G$-equivariant maps from spheres to cohomology spheres has also been established.
