Quasiperiodic Oscillations, Quasinormal Modes and Shadows of Bardeen-Kiselev Black Holes

In this article, we study the particle dynamics around a static and spherically symmetric Bardeen-Kiselev black hole (BK BH) which is a solution of the Einstein-non-linear Maxwell field equations along with a quintessential field. We discuss its essential geometrical properties such as scalar invariants and size of innermost stable circular orbits. Dynamics of test particles around the BH is also studied. Moreover, we also computed the fundamental frequencies of a test particle orbiting the BH in a slightly perturbed orbit. Further, the degeneracy relations between the spin of rotating Kerr BH and magnetic charge of the BK BH at the values of the quintessential parameter $ω_q=-1/3$ and in terms of the same values of innermost stable circular orbits (ISCOs) radius, energy efficiency, twin-peaks quasiperiodic oscillations (QPOs) frequencies and impact parameter for photon are also discussed in detail. Finally, we have investigated the relationship between the shadow radius and the real part of the quasinormal mode (QNM) frequency.

Dynamics of particles and epicyclic motions around Schwarzschild-de-Sitter black hole in perfect fluid dark matter

In this paper we investigate circular orbits for test particles around Schwarzschild-de Sitter (dS) black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter. We determine the region of circular orbits bounded by innermost and outermost stable circular orbits. We show that the impact of the perfect fluid dark matter shrinks the region where circular orbits can exist as the values of both innermost and outermost stable circular orbits decrease. We find that for specific lower and upper values of dark matter parameter there exist double matching values for inner and outermost stable circular orbits. It turns out that the gravitational attraction due to the dark matter contribution dominates over cosmological repulsion. This gives rise to a remarkable result in the Schwarzschild-dS black hole surrounded by dark matter field in contrast to the Schwarzschild-dS metric. Finally, we study epicyclic motion and its frequencies with their applications to twin peak quasi-periodic oscillations (QPO) for various models. We find corresponding values of the black hole parameters which could best fit and explain the observed twin peak QPO object GRS 1915+109 from microquasars.

Dynamics of charged particles and magnetic dipoles around magnetized quasi-Schwarzschild black holes

In the present paper, we have investigated the motion of charged particles together with magnetic dipoles to determine how well the spacetime deviation parameter $ε$ and external uniform magnetic field can mimic the spin of a rotating Kerr black hole. Investigation of charged particle motion has shown that the deviation parameter $ε$ in the absence of external magnetic fields can mimic the rotation parameter of Kerr spacetime up to $a/M \approx0.5$. The combination of external magnetic field and deviation parameter can do even a better job mimicking the rotation parameter up to $a/M\simeq0.93$, which corresponds to the rapidly rotating case. Study of the dynamics of magnetic dipoles around quasi-Schwarzschild black holes in the external magnetic field has shown that there are degeneracy values of ISCO radius of test particles at $ε_{cr}>ε\geq 0.35$ which may lead to two different values of the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) radius. When the deviation parameter is in the range of $ε\in (-1,\ 1)$, it can mimic the spin of a rotating Kerr black hole in the range $a/M \in (0.0537, \ 0.3952)$ for magnetic dipoles with values of magnetic coupling parameter $β\in [-0.25,\ 0.25]$ in corotating orbits.

Dynamics of magnetized particles around Einstein-Æther black hole with uniform magnetic field

This work is devoted to study the effects of Einstein-Æther gravity on the dynamics of magnetized particles orbiting a static, spherically symmetric and uncharged black hole immersed in an external asymptotically uniform magnetic field in both comoving and proper observers frames. The analysis is carried out by varying the free parameters $c_{13}$ and $c_{14}$ of the Einstein-Æther theory and noticing their impacts on the particle trajectories, radii of the innermost stable circular orbits (ISCOs), and the amount of center-of-mass energy produced as a result of the collision. The strength of the magnetic field and the location of circular orbits is significantly affected by varying the above free parameters. We have also made detailed comparisons between the effects of parameters of Einstein-Æther and spin of rotating Kerr black holes on ISCO followed by magnetized particles and noticed that both black holes depict similar behaviour for suitable values of $c_{13}$, $c_{14}$, spin and the magnetic coupling parameters which provide exactly the same values for the ISCO. Finally, we have analysed the cases when a static Æther black hole can be described as Schwarzschild black hole in modified gravity (MOG) with the corresponding values of the parameters of the black holes.

Charged particle motion around non-singular black holes in conformal gravity in the presence of external magnetic field

We consider electromagnetic fields and charged particle dynamics around non-singular black holes in conformal gravity immersed in an external, asymptotically uniform magnetic field. First, we obtain analytic solutions of the electromagnetic field equation around rotating non-singular black holes in conformal gravity. We show that the radial components of the electric and magnetic fields increase with the increase of the parameters $L$ and $N$ of the black hole solution. Second, we study the dynamics of charged particles. We show that the increase of the values of the parameters $L$ and $N$ and of magnetic field causes a decrease in the radius of the innermost stable circular orbits (ISCO) and the magnetic coupling parameter can mimic the effect of conformal gravity giving the same ISCO radius up to $ω_{\rm B}\leq 0.07$ when $N=3$.

Dynamics of test particles around a Bardeen black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter

We study the dynamics of (i) neutral test particles, (ii) magnetically charged test particles, and (iii) test magnetic dipole around a regular Bardeen black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM). It has been shown how the magnetic charge of the black hole and the parameter of the surrounding PFDM can influence the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) radius of a test particle. We have found that the ISCO radius is strongly affected as a consequence of the combined effect of the magnetic charge parameter and the perfect fluid dark matter. The black hole magnetic charge parameter $g$ and the combined effect of perfect fluid dark matter can mimic the black hole rotation parameter up to $a/M\approx 0.9$. It has been observed that the ISCO for magnetic dipole disappears at the values exceeding the calculated upper value for the magnetic interaction parameter $β$. The upper limit decreases with the increase of both the dark matter and magnetic charge parameters. Finally, as an astrophysical application, we have analyzed degeneracy effects of spin of Kerr black holes and magnetic charge of regular Bardeen black holes for the different values of the dark matter parameter providing exactly the same value for ISCO radius of a magnetic dipole with the same value of the parameter $β=10.2$ of the magnetar called PSR J1745-2900 orbiting around supermassive black hole Sagittarius A*.

Dynamics of test particles around renormalization group improved Schwarzschild black holes

In this paper we have investigated the dynamics of neutral, electrically charged and magnetized particles around renormalized group improved (RGI) Schwarzschild black hole in the presence of external asymptotically uniform magnetic field. We have analyzed the spacetime structure around RGI black hole by investigating Ricci, the square of Ricci tensor and Kretschmann curvature scalars and shown that only in the case when the parameter $γ=0$ the curvature becomes infinite at the center of the black hole, while for non-zero values of $γ$ parameter the black hole curvature reflects the properties of regular black hole. Analyzing the innermost stable circular orbits of test neutral particles around RGI black hole and comparing with the results for rotating Kerr black hole we have shown that RGI black hole parameters can mimic the rotation parameter of Kerr black hole upto $a/M \lesssim 0.31$ providing the same ISCO radius. Since according to the astronomical observations of the accretion disks confirm that the astrophysical black holes are rapidly rotating with the spin parameter upto $a/M \sim 0.99$ one may conclude that the effects of parameters of RGI Schwarzschild black hole on the circular orbits of the neutral particles can not mimic the Kerr black hole. Then the Hamilton-Jacobi equation has been used to analyze the charged and magnetized particles motion near the RGI black hole in the presence of the strong interaction between external asymptotically uniform magnetic (electromagnetic) field and magnetized (electrically charged) particle. We have shown that RGI black hole parameters quantitatively change the dynamics of the charged and magnetized particles, in particular ISCO radius of the particles decreases with increasing the parameter $λ$, while the increase of the parameter $γ$ causes to increase of it.

Dynamics of test particles around regular black holes in modified gravity

In the work, we have presented detailed analyses of the event horizon and curvature properties of spacetime around a regular black hole in modified gravity so-called regular MOG black hole. The motion of neutral, electrically charged and magnetized particles with magnetic dipole moment, in the close environment of the regular MOG black hole immersed in an external asymptotically uniform magnetic field has been also explored. Through the study on the motion of the neutral test particle, we have obtained that the positive (negative) values of the MOG parameter mimic the spin of a rotating Kerr black hole giving the same values for innermost stable pro-grade (retrograde) orbits of the particles in the range of the spin parameter $a/M \in(-0.4125, \ 0.6946)$. The efficiency of energy release from the accretion disk by the Novikov-Thorne model has been calculated and shown that the efficiency is linearly proportional to the increase of the MOG parameter $α$, and exceeds up to 15 \% at the critical limiting value of the MOG parameter $α_{\rm cr}$. The study of the charged particles dynamics has shown that innermost stable circular orbits (ISCOs) of the particle increases with the increase of the MOG parameter, while the increase of cyclotron frequency being responsible to the magnetic interaction causes the decrease of the latter. Moreover, the dynamics of magnetic dipoles has shown that the increase of the MOG and the magnetic coupling parameters lead to an increase of the inner radius and the width of the accretion disk consisting of magnetized particles. Finally, we have focused on showing the range of values of the magnetic coupling parameter causing the orbits to be stable.

Can the dynamics of test particles around charged stringy black holes mimic the spin of Kerr black holes?

We study the motion of electrically charged particles, magnetic monopoles, and magnetic dipoles around electrically and magnetically charged stringy black holes. From the analysis of the radius of the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) of electrically charged particles, we show that the electric charge $Q$ of stringy black holes can mimic well the spin of Kerr black holes; the black hole magnetic charge $Q_m$ can mimic spins up to $a_* \simeq 0.85$ for magnetic dipoles; the magnetic charge parameter $g$ of a magnetic monopole can mimic spins up to $a_* \simeq 0.8$. This is due to the destructive character of the magnetic field and such a result excludes the existence of an appreciable black hole magnetic charge in astrophysical black holes from the observation of rapidly rotating objects with dimensionless spin up to $a_* \simeq 0.99$. We then consider the magnetar SGR (PSR) J1745-2900 as a magnetic dipole orbiting the supermassive black hole Sagittarius A* (Sgr A*). We show that Sgr A* may be interpreted as a stringy black hole with magnetic charge $Q_{\rm m}/M \leq 0.4118$.

Magnetized particle motion around magnetized Schwarzschild-MOG black hole

In this paper, we have presented the studies of the motion of magnetized particles and energetic processes around Schwarzschild black holes in modified gravity (MOG). The study of circular stable orbits shows that orbits of magnetized particles can not be stable for the values of magnetic coupling parameter $β\geq 1$. It was also shown that the range of stable circular orbits increases with the increase of both MOG and magnetic coupling parameters, while the effects of magnetic interaction stronger than the gravity. It was obtained that the increase of the MOG parameter causes the increase of center-of-mass energy collision of magnetized particles. Moreover, we have analyzed how to mimic the magnetic interaction with the spin of Kerr and Schwarzschild-MOG black holes. We have obtained that the magnetic coupling parameter can mimic the spin parameter $a \leq 0.15$ ($a \leq 0.28$) giving the same radius of innermost contour(co)-rotating orbits at the values of the parameter $β\in (-1,1)$ and the MOG parameter in the range $α\in (-0.17,0.28)$ while the MOG parameter $α\in (-0.7, 0.9)$ mimics spin parameter of the black hole with the range $|a| \in (0,1)$.

Magnetized particle motion around 4-D Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Black Hole

In this paper, we have investigated the dynamics of magnetized particles around 4-D Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet black hole immersed in an external asymptotically uniform magnetic field. We have shown that the magnetic interaction parameter responsible for circular orbits decreases for negative values of the Gauss-Bonnet parameter $α$ and the range where magnetized particle's stable circular orbits are allowed increases for the positive values of the parameter $α$. The study of the collisions of magnetized, charged and neutral particles has shown that the center-of-mass energy of the particles increases in the presence of positive Gauss-Bonnet parameter. Finally, we show how the magnetic interaction and Gauss-Bonnet parameter may mimic the effect of rotation of the Kerr black hole giving the same ISCO radius for magnetized particles. Detailed analysis of the ISCO show that spin of Kerr black hole can not be mimicked by the effects of magnetic interaction and the Gauss-Bonnet parameters when $α<-4.37$ and the spin parameter $a > 0.237$.
