Poisson structures on weak Sobolev loop spaces and applications to integrable systems

We develop a framework for Poisson geometry on loop spaces of low regularity, extending Mokhov's classical constructions from smooth loops to weak Sobolev spaces $W^{s,p}(\mathbb{S^1},\mathbb{R}^m)$ with $o < s \frac{1}{2}$ and $1 < p < \infty.$ Within this setting we construct presymplectic and Poisson structures of hydrodynamic type, as well as their weakly non local deformations involving inverse derivatives. The analytic backbone relies on the boundedness of fractional multipliers, Hilbert transforms, and Lipschitz Nemytski operators on $W^{s,p}$, which ensures that all operations used in Mokhov's formalisn remain well defined at this level of regularity. We further show that teh horizontal-vertical bicomplex underlying variational Poisson geometry can be extended to $W^{s,p},$ so that the cohomological arguments proving skew-symmetry and the Jacobi identity carry over verbatim. As an application, we embed the Hamiltonian formalisms of several integrable PDEs (KdV, nonlinear Schrödinger, Camassa--Holm, and hydrodynamic systems of Dubrovin--Novikov type) into this weak Sobolev setting. Local order-one Poisson operators and their weakly nonlocal extensions are shown to be well posed for $W^{s,p}$ loops, while higher-order operators (e.g. the second KdV bracket) require stronger regularity. Our results provide a rigorous analytic foundation for Poisson geometry on weak loop spaces and open the way for extending the Hamiltonian theory of integrable systems beyond the smooth category.

Contextuality, Holonomy and Discrete Fiber Bundles in Group-Valued Boltzmann Machines

We propose a geometric extension of restricted Boltzmann machines (RBMs) by allowing weights to take values in abstract groups such as \( \mathrm{GL}_n(\mathbb{R}) \), \( \mathrm{SU}(2) \), or even infinite-dimensional operator groups. This generalization enables the modeling of complex relational structures, including projective transformations, spinor dynamics, and functional symmetries, with direct applications to vision, language, and quantum learning. A central contribution of this work is the introduction of a \emph{contextuality index} based on group-valued holonomies computed along cycles in the RBM graph. This index quantifies the global inconsistency or "curvature" induced by local weights, generalizing classical notions of coherence, consistency, and geometric flatness. We establish links with sheaf-theoretic contextuality, gauge theory, and noncommutative geometry, and provide numerical and diagrammatic examples in both finite and infinite dimensions. This framework opens novel directions in AI, from curvature-aware learning architectures to topological regularization in uncertain or adversarial environments.

Diffeological Generalized Formal Series: An Overview

We present an overview of some recent developments in the theory of generalized formal series, grounded in diffeological geometric framework. These constructions aim to offer new tools for understanding infinite-dimensional phenomena in mathematical physics, particularly in contexts where standard atlases and charts are insufficient. Applications to tensor structures and categorical gradings are discussed, and emerging applications are mentioned.

Kadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchies with non-formal pseudo-differential operators, non-formal solutions, and a Yang-Mills--like formulation

We start from the classical Kadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchy posed on formal pseudo-differential operators, and we produce two hierarchies of non-linear equations posed on non-formal pseudo-differential operators lying in the Kontsevich and Vishik's odd class, one of them with values in formal pseudo-differential operators. We prove that the corresponding Zakharov-Shabat equations hold in this context, and we express one of our hierarchies as the minimization of a class of Yang-Mills action functionals on a space of pseudo-differential connections whose curvature takes values in the Dixmier ideal. We finish by comparing our Kadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchies in terms of the solutions that they produce to the KP-II equation: existence, uniqueness and formality.

On smooth infinite dimensional grassmannians, splittings and non-commutative generalized cross-ratio mappings

We describe basic diffeological structures related to splittings and Grassmannians for infinite dimensional vector spaces. We analyze and expand the notion of non-commutative cross-ratio and prove its smoothness. Then we illustrate this theory by examples, with some of them extracted from the existing literature related to infinite dimensional (Banach) Grassmannians, and others where the diffeological setting is a key primary step for rigorous definitions.

On the geometry of diffeological vector pseudo-bundles and infinite dimensional vector bundles: automorphisms, connections and covariant derivatives

We consider here the category of diffeological vector pseudo-bundles, and study a possible extension of classical differential geometric tools on finite dimensional vector bundles, namely, the group of automorphisms, the frame bundle, the space of connection 1-forms and the space of covariant derivatives. Substential distinctions are highlighted in this generalized framework, among which the non-isomorphism between connection 1-forms and covariant derivatives. Applications not only include finite dimensional examples with singularities, but also infinite dimensional vector bundles.

The six blinds and the elephant or an interdisciplinary selection of measurement features

We propose here selected actual features of measurement problems based on our concerns in our respective fields of research. Their technical similarity in apparently disconnected fields motivate this common communication. Problems of coherence and consistency, correlation, randomness and uncertainty are exposed in various fields including physics, decision theory and game theory, while the underlying mathematical structures are very similar.

On random pairwise comparisons matrices and their geometry

We describe a framework for random pairwise comparisons matrices, inspired by selected constructions releted to the so called inconsistency reduction of pairwise comparisons (PC) matrices. In to build up structures on random pairwise comparisons matrices, the set up for (deterministic) PC matrices for non-reciprocal PC matrices is completed. The extension of basic concepts such as inconsistency indexes and geometric mean method are extended to random pairwise comparisons matrices and completed by new notions which seem useful to us. Two procedures for (random) inconsistency reduction are sketched, based on well-known existing objects, and a fiber bundle-like decomposition of random pairwise comparisons is proposed.

On diffeologies for power sets and measures

We consider a differential geometric setting on power sets and Borel algebras. Our chosen framework is based on diffeologies, and we make a link between the various diffeological structures that we propose, having in mind set-valued maps, relations, set-valued gradients, differentiable measures, and shape analysis. This work intends to establish rigorous properties on sample diffeologies that seem of interest to us.

On a class of closed cocycles for algebras of non-formal, possibly unbounded, pseudodifferential operators

In this article, we consider algebras $\mathcal{A}$ of non-formal pseudodifferential operators over $S^1$ which contain $C^\infty(S^1),$ understood as multiplication operators. We apply a construction of Chern-Weil type forms in order to get $2k-$closed cocycles. For $k=1,$ we obtain a cocycle on the algebra of (maybe non classical) pseudodifferential operators with the same cohomology class as the Schwinger cocycle on the algebra of Classical pseudodifferential operators, previously extended and studied by the author on algebras of the same type.

Frolicher structures, diffieties, and a formal KP hierarchy

We propose a definition of a diffiety based on the theory of Frolicher structures. As a consequence, we obtain a natural Vinogradov sequence and, under the assumption of the existence of a suitable derivation, we can form on it a Kadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchy which is well-posed.

A gradient method for inconsistency reduction of pairwise comparisons matrices

We investigate an application of a mathematically robust minimization method -- the gradient method -- to the consistencization problem of a pairwise comparisons (PC) matrix. Our approach sheds new light on the notion of a priority vector and leads naturally to the definition of instant priority vectors. We describe a sample family of inconsistency indicators based on various ways of taking an average value, which extends the inconsistency indicator based on the "$\sup$"- norm. We apply this family of inconsistency indicators both for additive and multiplicative PC matrices to show that the choice of various inconsistency indicators lead to non-equivalent consistencization procedures.

On $(t_2,t_3)-$Zakharov-Shabat equations of generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchies

We review the integration of the KP hierarchy in several non-standard contexts. Specifically, we consider KP in the following associative differential algebras: an algebra equipped with a nilpotent derivation; an algebra of functions equipped with a derivation that generalizes the gradient operator; an algebra of quaternion-valued functions; a differential Lie algebra; an algebra of polynomials equipped with the Pincherle differential; a Moyal algebra. In all these cases we can formulate and solve the Cauchy problem of the KP hierarchy. Also, in each of these cases we derive different Zakharov-Shabat $(t_2,t_3)$-equations -- that is, different Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equations -- and we prove existence of solutions arising from solutions to the corresponding KP hierarchy.

Rigid body equations on spaces of pseudo-differential operators with renormalized trace

We equip the regular Fréchet Lie group of invertible, odd-class, classical pseudodifferential operators $Cl^{0,*}_{odd}(M,E)$ -- in which $M$ is a compact smooth manifold and $E$ a (complex) vector bundle over $M$ -- with pseudo-Riemannian metrics, and we use these metrics to introduce a large class of rigid body equations. We adapt to our infinite-dimensional setting Manakov's classical observation on the integrability of Euler's equations for the rigid body, and we show that our equations can be written in Lax form (with parameter) and that they admit an infinite number of integrals of motion. We also prove the existence of metric connections, we show that our rigid body equations determine geodesics on $Cl^{0,*}_{odd}(M,E)$, and we present rigorous formulas for the corresponding curvature and sectional curvature. Our main tool is the theory of renormalized traces of pseudodifferential operators on compact smooth manifolds without boundary.

On the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchy in an extended class of formal pseudo-differential operators

We study the existence and uniqueness of the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) hierarchy solutions in the algebra of $\F Cl(S^1,\K^n)$ of formal classical pseudo-differential operators. The classical algebra $ΨDO(S^1,\K^n)$ where the KP hierarchy is well-known appears as a subalgebra of $\F Cl(S^1,\K^n).$ We investigate algebraic properties of $\F Cl(S^1,\K^n)$ such as splittings, r-matrices, extension of the Gelfand-Dickii bracket, almost complex structures. Then, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the KP hierarchy solutions in $\F Cl(S^1,\K^n)$ with respect to extended classes of initial values. Finally, we extend this KP hierarchy to complex order formal pseudo-differential operators and we describe their Hamiltonian structures similarly to previously known formal case.
