Spinor Field Realizations of the half-integer $W_{2,s}$ Strings

The grading Becchi-Rouet-Stora-Tyutin (BRST) method gives a way to construct the integer $W_{2,s}$ strings, where the BRST charge is written as $Q_B=Q_0+Q_1$. Using this method, we reconstruct the nilpotent BRST charges $Q_{0}$ for the integer $W_{2,s}$ strings and the half-integer $W_{2,s}$ strings. Then we construct the exact grading BRST charge with spinor fields and give the new realizations of the half-integer $W_{2,s}$ strings for the cases of $s=3/2$, 5/2, and 7/2.

Hawking radiation of Dirac particles via tunneling from Kerr black hole

We investigated Dirac Particles' Hawking radiation from event horizon of Kerr black hole in terms of the tunneling formalism. Applying WKB approximation to the general covariant Dirac equation in Kerr spacetime background, we obtain the tunneling probability for fermions and Hawking temperature of Kerr black hole. The result obtained by taking the fermion tunneling into account is consistent with the previous literatures.

Dirac particles tunneling from BTZ black hole

We calculated the Dirac Particles' Hawking radiation from the outer horizon of BTZ black hole via tunneling formalism. Applying WKB approximation to the Dirac equation in (2+1) dimensional BTZ spacetime background, we obtain the radiation spectrum for fermions and Hawking temperature of BTZ black hole. The results obtained by taking the fermion tunneling into account is consistent with the previous literatures.

Knotted Topological Phase Singularities of Electromagnetic Field

In this paper, knotted objects (RS vortices) in the theory of topological phase singularity in electromagnetic field have been investigated in details. By using the $ϕ$-mapping topological current theory proposed by Prof. Duan, we rewrite the topological current form of RS vortices and use this topological current we reveal that the Hopf invariant of RS vortices is just the sum of the linking and self-linking numbers of the knotted RS vortices. Furthermore, the conservation of the Hopf invariant in the splitting, the mergence and the intersection processes of knotted RS vortices is also discussed.

Topology of Knotted Optical Vortices

Optical vortices as topological objects exist ubiquitously in nature. In this paper, by making use of the $ϕ$-mapping topological current theory, we investigate the topology in the closed and knotted optical vortices. The topological inner structure of the optical vortices are obtained, and the linking of the knotted optical vortices is also given.

Topological Aspect of Knotted Vortex Filaments in Excitable Media

Scroll waves exist ubiquitously in three-dimensional excitable media. It's rotation center can be regarded as a topological object called vortex filament. In three-dimensional space, the vortex filaments usually form closed loops, and even linked and knotted. In this letter, we give a rigorous topological description of knotted vortex filaments. By using the $ϕ$-mapping topological current theory, we rewrite the topological current form of the charge density of vortex filaments and use this topological current we reveal that the Hopf invariant of vortex filaments is just the sum of the linking and self-linking numbers of the knotted vortex filaments. We think that the precise expression of the Hopf invariant may imply a new topological constraint on knotted vortex filaments.

Hawking Temperature of Dilaton Black Holes from Tunneling

Recently, it has been suggested that Hawking radiation can be derived from quantum tunnelling methods. In this letter, we calculated Hawking temperature of dilatonic black holes from tunnelling formalism. The two semi-classical methods adopted here are: the null-geodesic method proposed by Parikh and Wilczek and the Hamilton-Jacobi method propsed by Angheben et al. We apply the two methods to anylysis the Hawking temperature of the static spherical symmetric dilatonic black hole, the rotating Kaluza-Klein black hole, and the rotating Kerr-Sen black hole.

Topological Properties of Spatial Coherence Function

Topology of the spatial coherence function is considered in details. The phase singularity (coherence vortices) structures of coherence function are classified by Hopf index and Brouwer degree in topology. The coherence flux quantization and the linking of the closed coherence vortices are also studied from the topological properties of the spatial coherence function.

Unified First Law and Thermodynamics of Dynamical Black Hole in n-dimensional Vaidya Spacetime

As a simple but important example of dynamical black hole, we analysis the dynamical black hole in $n$-dimensional Vaidya spacetime in detail. We investigated the thermodynamics of field equation in $n$-dimensional Vaidya spacetime. The unified first law was derived in terms of the methods proposed by Sean A Hayward. The first law of dynamical black hole was obtained by projecting the unified first law along the trapping horizon. At last, the second law of dynamical black hole is also discussed.

Inner topological structure of Hopf invariant

In light of $ϕ$-mapping topological current theory, the inner topological structure of Hopf invariant is investigated. It is revealed that Hopf invariant is just the winding number of Gauss mapping. According to the inner structure of topological current, a precise expression for Hopf invariant is also presented. It is the total sum of all the self-linking and all the linking numbers of the knot family.

Vector and Spinor Decomposition of SU(2) Gauge Potential, their quivalence and Knot Structure in SU(2) Chern-Simons Theory

In this paper, spinor and vector decomposition of SU(2) gauge potential are presented and their equivalence is constructed using a simply proposal. We also obtain the action of Faddeev nonlinear O(3) sigma model from the SU(2) massive gauge field theory which is proposed according to the gauge invariant principle. At last, the knot structure in SU(2) Chern-Simons filed theory is discussed in terms of the $ϕ$--mapping topological current theory. The topological charge of the knot is characterized by the Hopf indices and the Brouwer degrees of $ϕ$-mapping.

Topological Properties of Phase Singularities in Wave Fields

Phase singularities as topological objects of wave fields appear in a variety of physical, chemical, and biological scenarios. In this paper, by making use of the $ϕ$-mapping topological current theory, we study the topological properties of the phase singularities in two and three dimensional space in details. The topological inner structure of the phase singularities are obtained, and the topological charge of the phase singularities are expressed by the topological numbers: Hopf indices and Brouwer degrees. Furthermore, the topological invariant of the closed and knotted phase singularities in three dimensional space are also discussed in details.

New Spinor Field Realizations of the Non-Critical $W_{3}$ String

We investigate the new spinor field realizations of the $W_{3}$ algebra, making use of the fact that the $W_{3}$ algebra can be linearized by the addition of a spin-1 current. We then use these new realizations to build the nilpotent Becchi-Rouet-Stora--Tyutin (BRST) charges of the spinor non-critical $W_{3}$ string.

Ghost field realizations of the spinor $W_{2,s}$ strings based on the linear W(1,2,s) algebras

It has been shown that certain W algebras can be linearized by the inclusion of a spin-1 current. This Provides a way of obtaining new realizations of the W algebras. In this paper, we investigate the new ghost field realizations of the W(2,s)(s=3,4) algebras, making use of the fact that these two algebras can be linearized. We then construct the nilpotent BRST charges of the spinor non-critical W(2,s) strings with these new realizations.

Cosmic Strings and Quintessence

We present a new Lorentz gauge invariant U(1) topological field theory in Riemann-Cartan spacetime manifold $U_{4}$. By virtue of the decomposition theory of U(1) gauge potential and the $ ϕ$--mapping topological current theory, it is proved that the U(1) complex scalar field $ϕ(x)$ can be looked upon as the order parameter field in our Universe, and the set of zero points of $ϕ(x)$ create the cosmic strings as the spacetime defects in the early Universe. In the standard cosmology this complex scalar order parameter field possesses negative pressure, provides an accelerating expansion of Universe and be able to explain the inflation in the early Universe. Therefore this complex scalar field is not only the order parameter field created the cosmic strings, but also reasonably behaves as the quintessence, the dark energy.
