Intelligent Understanding of Large Language Models in Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Prompt Engineering Framework

This paper explores the application of prompt engineering to enhance the performance of large language models (LLMs) in the domain of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). We propose TCM-Prompt, a framework that integrates various pre-trained language models (PLMs), templates, tokenization, and verbalization methods, allowing researchers to easily construct and fine-tune models for specific TCM-related tasks. We conducted experiments on disease classification, syndrome identification, herbal medicine recommendation, and general NLP tasks, demonstrating the effectiveness and superiority of our approach compared to baseline methods. Our findings suggest that prompt engineering is a promising technique for improving the performance of LLMs in specialized domains like TCM, with potential applications in digitalization, modernization, and personalized medicine.

$B_{(s)} \rightarrow D^{**}_{(s)}$ form factors in HQEFT and model independent analysis of relevant semileptonic decays with NP effects

The form factors of $B_{(s)}$ decays into P-wave excited charmed mesons (including $D^*_0(2300)$, $D_1(2430)$, $D_1(2420)$, $D^*_2(2460)$ and their strange counterparts, denoted generically as $D^{**}_{(s)}$) are systematically calculated via the QCD sum rules in the framework of heavy quark effective field theory (HQEFT). We consider contributions up to the next leading order of heavy quark expansion and give all the relevant form factors, including the scalar and tensor ones only relevant for possible new physics effects. The expressions for the form factors in terms of several universal wave functions are derived via heavy quark expansion. These universal functions can be evaluated through QCD sum rules. Then, the numerical results of the form factors are presented. With the form factors given here, a model independent analysis of relevant semileptonic decays $B_{(s)} \rightarrow D^{**}_{(s)} l \barν_l$ is performed, including the contributions from possible new physics effects. Our predictions for the differential decay widths, branching fractions and ratios of branching fractions $R(D^{**}_{(s)})$ may be tested in more precise experiments in the future.

Exact solutions for a spin-orbit coupled bosonic double-well system

Exact solutions for spin-orbit (SO) coupled cold atomic systems are very important and rare in physics. In this paper, we propose a simple method of combined modulations to generate the analytic exact solutions for an SO-coupled boson held in a driven double well. For the cases of synchronous combined modulations and the spin-conserving tunneling, we obtain the general analytical accurate solutions of the system respectively. For the case of spin-flipping tunneling under asynchronous combined modulations, we get the special exact solutions in simple form when the driving parameters satisfy certain conditions. Based on these obtained exact solutions, we reveal some intriguing quantum spin dynamical phenomena, for instance, the arbitrary population transfer (APT) with and/or without spin-flipping, the controlled coherent population conservation (CCPC), and the controlled coherent population inversion (CCPI). The results may have potential applications in the preparation of accurate quantum entangled states and quantum information processing.

Coherent control of spin tunneling in a spin-orbit coupled bosonic triple well

We study the coherent control of spin tunneling for a spin-orbit (SO) coupled boson held in a driven triple well. Under high-frequency approximation, we analytically obtain the quasienergies of the SO-coupled bosonic triple-well system and fine energy band structure is displayed. By adjusting the driving parameters, we reveal that the directed selective spin-flipping or spin-conserving tunneling of a SO-coupled boson occurs along different pathways and in different directions. The analytical results are numerically confirmed and perfect agreements are found. Further, a scheme of quantum spin switch with or without spin-flipping is presented. These results may be useful for quantum information processing and the design of spintronic devices.
