Thermodynamic Supercritical Scaling Law for the charged Gauss-Bonnet AdS Black Hole
The phase structure of the charged Gauss-Bonnet AdS black holes varies with the spacetime dimension. Within an appropriate parameter range, only the six-dimensional case admits two physical critical points and it is an ideal model for investigating supercritical thermodynamics in black hole systems with multiple critical points. In this study, we investigate the supercritical thermodynamic properties of this model in the extended phase space and construct the supercritical phase diagrams associated with the two critical points. The thermodynamic supercritical scaling analysis for the supercritical crossover lines in the vicinity of both critical points is completed, demonstrating universality. The corresponding coefficients for the external field scaling and the order parameter scaling are obtained, and their physical significance is discussed.
