Holographic Schwinger Effect in Anisotropic Media

According to gauge/gravity correspondence, we study the holographic Schwinger effect within an anisotropic background. Firstly, the separate length of the particle-antiparticle pairs is computed within the context of an anisotropic background which is parameterized by dynamical exponent $ν$. It is found that the maximum separate length $x$ increases with the increase of dynamical exponent $ν$. By analyzing the potential energy, we find that the potential barrier increases with the dynamical exponent $ν$ at a small separate distance. This observation implies that the Schwinger effect within an anisotropic background is comparatively weaker when contrasted with its manifestation in an isotropic background. Finally, we also find that the Schwinger effect in the transverse direction is weakened, compared to the parallel direction in the anisotropic background, which is consistent with the top-down model.

Investigating excited $Ω_c$ states from pentaquark perspective

Inspired by the recent observation of new $Ω_c^0$ states by the LHCb Collaboration, we explore the excited $Ω_{c}$ states from the pentaquark perspective in the quark delocalization color screening model. Our results indicate that the $Ω_c(3185)$ can be well interpreted as a molecular $ΞD$ predominated resonance state with $J^P=1/2^-$. The $Ω_c(3120)$ can also be interpreted as a molecular $Ξ_c^* \bar{K}$ state with $J^P=3/2^-$ and a new molecular state $Ξ^*_c \bar{K}^*$ with $J^P=5/2^-$ and a mass of 3527 MeV is predicted, which is worth searching in the future. Other reported $Ω_c$ states cannot be well described in the framework of pentaquark systems in present work. The three-quark excited state, or the unquenched picture may be a good explanation, which is worth further exploration.

Predictions of the Strange partner of $T_{cc}$ in the quark delocalization color screening model

Inspired by the detection of $T_{cc}$ tetraquark state by LHCb Collaboration, we preform a systemical investigation of the low-lying doubly heavy charm tetraquark states with strangeness in the quark delocalization color screening model in the present work. Two kinds of configurations, the meson-meson configuration and diquark-antidiquark configuration, are considered in the calculation. Our estimations indicate that the coupled channel effects play important role in the multiquark system, and a bound state with $J^{P}=1^{+}$ and a resonance state with $J^{P}=0^{+}$ have been predicted. The mass of the bound state is evaluated to be $(3971\sim3975)$ MeV, while the mass and width of the resonance are determined to be $(4113\sim4114)$ MeV and $(14.3\sim 16.1)$ MeV, respectively.

Possibility of generating the $^3_{Λ_c}$H in the quark-delocalization color-screening model

We probe the existence of the $^3_{Λ_c}$H where the $NΛ_c$ potentials are derived from the quark-delocalization color-screening model (QDCSM). The $NΛ_c$ system is studied and the $NΛ_c$ scattering length so as the effective range are obtained in the QDCSM. We construct effective Gaussian-type $NΛ_c$ potentials which reproduce the $NΛ_c$ scattering data given by the QDCSM. By solving the $NNΛ_c$ three body Schrödinger equation with the Gaussian expansion method, we calculate the energies of the $^3_{Λ_c}$H with isospin $I=0$, $J^P=1/2^+$ and $I=0$, $J^P=3/2^+$ under different color screening parameter $μ$. The $J^P=1/2^+$ and $J^P=3/2^+$ states are both bound when the color screening parameter $μ$ is set to 1.0 or 1.2, where the $J^P=1/2^+$ state is bound by $0.08\sim0.85$ MeV and the $J^P=3/2^+$ state is bound by $0.15\sim1.31$ MeV with respect to the deuteron-$Λ_c$ threshold.

Is $d^*(2380)$ a compact hexaquark state?

The most fascinating dibaryon in the non-strange quark sector is $d^*(2380)$, which was reported by WASA-at-COSY Collaboration and confirmed by A2@MAMI Collaboration. The reported mass and width are $M\approx2.37$ GeV, $Γ\approx70$ MeV and the quantum numbers $IJ^P=03^+$. The structure of $d^*(2380)$ is still in controversy. In the present calculation, the powerful method in few-body system, Gaussian expansion method is employed to explore the structure of $d^*(2380)$ in the framework of constituent quark models without assuming the presupposed structure. The results show that the radius of $d^*(2380)$ is around 0.7 fm, a very compact object. Because of the compact structure, the color singlet-singlet component has a large overlap with the color octet-octet one, two colorless, large overlapped $Δ$s dominate the state is possible.

Prediction of charmed-bottom pentaquarks in quark model

Inspired by the fully heavy tetraquark states reported by the LHCb, ATLAS and CMS Collaborations, we perform a systemical investigation of the low-lying fully heavy pentaquark systems composed of charm and bottom quarks (anti-quark) in the chiral quark model. With the help of the channel-coupling, we obtain several fully heavy pentaquark candidates, which are $cccc\bar{b}$ and $bbbb\bar{c}$ systems with $J^P = 1/2^-$ and $3/2^-$, $cccb\bar{c}$, $bbbc\bar{b}$, $cccb\bar{b}$ and $bbbc\bar{c}$ systems with $J^P = 5/2^-$. The binding energies of these states are all below 10 MeV and the root mean square (RMS) are around 1.8 fm, which indicates that these states are likely to be molecular states. These predicted exotic states may provide new ideas for experimental searches and we expect more experimental and theoretical researches to study and understand the fully heavy states in future.

Charmoniumlike tetraquarks in a chiral quark model

The lowest-lying charmonium-like tetraquarks $c\bar{c}q\bar{q}$ $(q=u,\,d)$ and $c\bar{c}s\bar{s}$, with spin-parity $J^P=0^+$, $1^+$ and $2^+$, and isospin $I=0$ and $1$, are systematically investigated within the theoretical framework of complex-scaling range for a chiral quark model that has already been successfully applied in former studies of various tetra- and penta-quark systems. A four-body $S$-wave configuration which includes meson-meson, diquark-antidiquark and K-type arrangements of quarks, along with all possible color wave functions, is comprehensively considered. Several narrow resonances are obtained in each tetraquark channel when a fully coupled-channel computation is performed. We tentatively assign theoretical states to experimentally reported charmonium-like signals such as $X(3872)$, $Z_c(3900)$, $X(3960)$, $X(4350)$, $X(4685)$ and $X(4700)$. They can be well identified as hadronic molecules; however, other exotic components which involve, for instance, hidden-color channels or diquark-antidiquark structures play a considerable role. Meanwhile, two resonances are obtained at $4.04$ GeV and $4.14$ GeV which may be compatible with experimental data in the energy interval $4.0-4.2$ GeV. Furthermore, the $X(3940)$ and $X(4630)$ may be identified as color compact tetraquark resonances. Finally, we also find few resonance states in the energy interval from $4.5$ GeV to $5.0$ GeV, which would be awaiting for discovery in future experiments.

Possible triply heavy tetraquark states

In the present work, the triply heavy tetraquarks states $QQ\bar{Q}\bar{q}$ with $Q=(c, b)$ and $q=(u, d, s)$ with all possible quantum numbers are systematically investigated in the framework of the chiral quark model with the resonance ground method. Two kinds of structures, including the meson-meson configuration (the color-singlet channels and the hidden-color channels) and the diquark-antidiquark configuration (the color sextet-antisextet and the color triplet-antitriplet), are considered. In the considered system, several bound states are obtained for the $cc\bar{c}\bar{q^{'}}$, $bb\bar{c}\bar{q^{'}}$ and $bc\bar{c}\bar{q}$ tetraquarks. From the present estimations, we find that the coupled channel effect is of great significance for forming the below thresholds tetraquark states, which are stable for strong decays.

Molecular state interpretation of charmed baryons in the quark model

Stimulated by the observation of $Λ_c(2910)^+$ by the Belle Collaboration, the $S$-wave $qqq\bar{q}c~(q=u~\text{or}~d)$ pentaquark systems with $I$ = 0, $J^P$ = $\frac{1}{2}^-,~\frac{3}{2}^- and~\frac{5}{2}^-$ are investigated in the framework of quark delocalization color screening model(QDCSM). The real-scaling method is utilized to check the bound states and the genuine resonance states. The root mean square of cluster spacing is also calculated to study the structure of the states and estimate if the state is resonance state or not. The numerical results show that $Λ_{c}(2910)$ cannot be interpreted as a molecular state, and $Σ_{c}(2800)$ cannot be explained as the $ND$ molecular state with $J^P=1/2^-$. $Λ_{c}(2595)$ can be interpreted as the molecular state with $J^P=\frac{1}{2}^-$ and the main component is $Σ_{c}π$. $Λ_{c}(2625)$ can be interpreted as the molecular state with $J^P=\frac{3}{2}^-$ and the main component is $Σ_{c}^{*}π$. $Λ_{c}(2940)$ is likely to be interpreted as a molecular state with $J^P=3/2^-$, and the main component is $ND^{*}$. Besides, two new molecular states are predicted, one is the $J^P=3/2^-$ $Σ_{c}ρ$ resonance state with the mass around 3140 MeV, another one is the $J^P=\frac{5}{2}^-$ $Σ_{c}^*ρ$ with the mass of 3188.3 MeV.

Possible charmed-strange molecular pentaquarks in quark delocalization color screening model

Inspired by the states $T_{c\bar{s}0}^{a}(2900)^{0}$ and $T_{c\bar{s}0}^{a}(2900)^{++}$ reported by the LHCb Collaboration, we carry out a systematical investigation of the charm-strange pentaquark system using resonance group method in the quark delocalization color screening model. The present results predict the existence of some bound states and resonance states with support from the study of the mass spectrum and the decay properties. Both $Σ_{c}^{\ast}K^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{5}{2}^{-})$ and $ΔD_{s}^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{3}{2}(\frac{5}{2}^{-})$ are bounded by channel coupling calculation. Moreover, the resonance state $Σ_{c}K^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$ and $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^{-})$ are available in QDCSM, the masses and the total decay widths of which are ($R^{\prime}=3342\sim3346$ MeV, $Γ_{Total}=25.5$ MeV) and ($R^{\prime}=3333$ MeV, $Γ_{Total}=3.3$ MeV), respectively. In addition, the resonance state $ΔD_{s}^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{3}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$ is also obtained, the mass and the decay width of this state are 3343 MeV and 0.01 MeV, respectively. These predicted new exotic states may provide new ideas for experimental searches and we sincerely expect more experimental and theoretical research to verify and understand the charm-strange pentaquark states in the future.

The newly observed $Υ(10753)$ as a tetraquark state in a chiral quark model with scalar nonet exchange

Recently, Belle\uppercase\expandafter{\romannumeral2} Collaboration firstly reported a new resonance $ωχ_{bJ}$ in the processes of $e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow ωχ_{bJ}$ at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}=10.745$ GeV. Given the Born cross section similar with the previously reported $Υ(10753)$, the new resonance $ωχ_{bJ}$ may have be $Υ(10753)$. From the perspectives of traditional $Υ(nS)$ meson and exotic tetraquark $b\bar{q}q\bar{b}$ state with the $J^{PC}$ = $1^{--}$, we tentatively investigate the $Υ(10753)$ by solving Schrödinger equation in the framework of the chiral quark model. Numerical results for the meson show that the mass of $Υ(5S)$ is up to 10.86 GeV and unsuitable for the candidate of $Υ(10753)$. On the other hand, not only the two kinds of molecular structure ($b\bar{b}$-$q\bar{q}$, $b\bar{q}$-$q\bar{b}$) but also the \da~structure ($\bar{b}\bar{q}$-$qb$) are considered into our tetraquark calculation with the help of Gaussian expansion method. When a fully-channel coupling is performed using the real-scaling method (stabilization method), we get a stable resonance $^1R_{1}(10770)$ ( $^{2S+1}R_J$ ) with a great component of the diquark-antidiquark state. Combined with the mass and width of $^1R_{1}(10770)$, it may be a good candidate for experimental $Υ(10753)$. Besides, several resonance states ranging from 10.82 GeV to 10.96 GeV are obtained, which are expected to be further verified in future experiments.

Analysis of $Ω(2012)$ as a molecule in the chiral quark model

Inspired by the updated information on $Ω(2012)$ by the Belle Collaboration, we conduct a study of all possible $S$-wave pentaquark systems with quark contents $sssq\bar{q},q=u,d$ in a chiral quark model with the help of Gaussian expansion method. Channel coupling is also considered. The real-scaling method (stabilization method) is employed to identify and check the bound states and the genuine resonances. In addition, the decay widths of all resonances are given. The results show that $Ω(2012)$ can be interpreted as a $Ξ^*K$ molecular state with quantum number of $IJ^P=0(\frac{3}{2})^-$. Other resonances are obtained: $Ξ^* K^*$ with $IJ^P=0(\frac{1}{2})^-$ and$0(\frac{3}{2})^-$, $Ωπ$ with $IJ^P=1(\frac{3}{2})^-$. These pentaquark states is expected to be further verified in future experiments.

Fully-charm and -bottom pentaquarks in a Lattice-QCD inspired quark model

The fully-charm and -bottom pentaquarks, \emph{i.e.} $cccc\bar{c}$ and $bbbb\bar{b}$, with spin-parity quantum numbers $J^P=\frac{1}{2}^-$, $\frac{3}{2}^-$ and $\frac{5}{2}^-$, are investigated within a Lattice-QCD inspired quark model, which has already successfully described the recently announced fully-charm tetraquark candidate $X(6900)$, and has also predicted several other fully-heavy tetraquarks. A powerful computational technique, based on the Gaussian expansion method combined with a complex-scaling range approach, is employed to predict, and distinguish, bound, resonance and scattering states of the mentioned five-body system. Both baryon-meson and diquark-diquark-antiquark configurations, along with all of their possible color channels are comprehensively considered. Narrow resonances are obtained in each spin-parity channel for the fully-charm and -bottom systems. Moreover, most of them seems to be compact multiquarks whose wave-functions are dominated by either hidden-color baryon-meson or diquark-diquark-antiquark structure, or by the coupling between them.

Bottomonium-like tetraquarks in a chiral quark model

The low-lying bottomonium-like tetraquarks $b\bar{b}q\bar{q}$ $(q=u,\,d,\,s)$ with spin-parity $J^P=0^+$, $1^+$ and $2^+$, and isospin $I=0,\,1$ or $\frac{1}{2}$, are systematically investigated within the theoretical framework of real- and complex-scaling range of a chiral quark model, which has already been successfully applied in analysis of several multiquark systems. A complete four-body $S$-wave function, which includes meson-meson, diquark-antidiquark and K-type arrangements of quarks, along with all possible color configurations are considered. In the $b\bar{b}q\bar{q}$ $(q=u,\,d)$ tetraquark system, we found resonance states of $B^{(*)} \bar{B}^{(*)}$, $Υω$, $Υρ$ and $η_b ρ$ nature with all possible $I(J^P)$ quantum numbers. Their masses are generally located in the energy range $11.0-11.3$ GeV and their widths are less than $10$ MeV. In addition, extremely narrow resonances, with two-meson strong decay widths less than $1.5$ MeV, are obtained in both $b\bar{b}u\bar{s}$ and $b\bar{b}s\bar{s}$ tetraquark systems. Particularly, four radial excitations of $ΥK^*$ and $η_b K^*$ are found at $\sim11.1$ GeV in $J^P=0^+$, $1^+$ and $2^+$ channels of $b\bar{b}u\bar{s}$ system. One $Υ(1S)ϕ(2S)$ resonance state is obtained at $11.28$ GeV in the $J^P=1^+$ sector.

Investigation of the bottom analog of the Zcs(3985) state

Motivated by the recent discovery of the hidden charm exotic state with strangeness by the BESIII and LHCb Collaborations, we study the $S$ wave strange hidden bottom tetraquark in two kinds of quark models. Both meson-meson and diquark-antidiquark configurations are taken into account. The numerical results indicate that there is no bound state in both quark models. However, several resonance states have been predicted. Three resonance states with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(0^{+})$ are found, the energy ranges of which are $10479\sim 10550$, $10528\sim 10632$, and $10597\sim 10681$ MeV, respectively. Three resonance states with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(1^{+})$ are predicted to be located in $10491\sim 10675$, $10502\sim 10679$, and $10522\sim 10723$ MeV, respectively. Moreover, there also exist a resonance with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(2^{+})$ and the mass is estimated to be $10531\sim 10680$ MeV. All these predicted states in the present work should be accessible for the further experiments in LHCb

The study of double-charm and double-strange tetraquarks

In the framework of the quark delocalization color screening model (QDCSM), we systematically investigate the double-charm and double-strange tetraquark systems $cc\bar{s}\bar{s}$ with two structures: meson-meson and diquark-antidiquark. The bound-state calculation shows that there is no any bound state in present work. However, by applying a stabilization calculation and coupling all channels of both two structures, two new resonance states with $IJ^{P}=00^{+}$ are obtained. One is more possible to be a molecular resonance state with a mass and width around $4256$ MeV and $60$ MeV, respectively; another one is more likely to be a compact resonance state with a mass and width around $4308$ MeV and $19$ MeV, respectively. Although no significant signals were observed in present experiment at the Belle collaboration, there is still some structures around $4.3$ GeV in the distributions of $M_{D^{+}_{s}D^{+}_{s}}$ and $M_{D^{*+}_{s}D^{*+}_{s}}$. We suggest that the experiment can be further tested with a larger amount of data.

Topological Field Theory and Phase Transition

The partition function of the topological twisted super Yang-Mills field theory on the boundary can be expanded as Jones polynomial, which can be computed as expectation values of Wilson loop operators. We show that the zero of the Jones polynomial is Lee-Yang type. Moreover, Lee-Yang phase transition is also discussed in the Jones polynomial of torus knot and the topological twisted super Yang-Mills field theory.

Investigation of hidden-charm pentaquarks with strangeness $S=-1$

Recently, a new hidden-charm pentaquark state $P_{cs}(4459)$ was reported by the LHCb Collaboration. Stimulated by the fact that all hidden-charm pentaquark states in $S=0$ systems were successfully predicted by our chiral quark model, we extended this study to the $S=-1$ systems. All possible quantum numbers $IJ^P=0(\frac{1}{2})^-$, $0(\frac{3}{2})^-$, $0(\frac{5}{2})^-$, $1(\frac{1}{2})^-$, $1(\frac{3}{2})^-$ and $1(\frac{5}{2})^-$ have been investigated. The calculation results shows that the newly observed state $P_{cs}(4459)$ can be explained as $Ξ_c \bar{D}^*$ molecular state and the quantum number is $0(\frac{1}{2})^-$. In addition, we also find other molecular states $Ξ_c \bar{D}$, $Ξ_c^* \bar{D}$ and $Ξ_c' \bar{D}^*$. It is worth mentioning that $Ξ_c \bar{D}^*$ can form a two-peak structure from states in system $0(\frac{1}{2})^-$ and $0(\frac{3}{2})^-$. The decay width of all molecular states is given with the help of real scaling method. These hidden-charm pentaquark states is expected to be further verified in future experiments.
