Anomalous Coulomb-Enhanced Charge Transport in Triangular Triple Quantum Dots Systems

Electron correlation and quantum interference are pivotal in mesoscopic transport. We theoretically study the nonequilibrium transport dynamics of a triangular triple quantum dot (TTQD) molecule connected to fermionic reservoirs using the exact hierarchical equations of motion (HEOM) formalism. We demonstrate a counter-intuitive transport signature where the stationary current is significantly enhanced by increasing the $U$, a behavior distinct from the suppression typically observed in linear quantum dot arrays. By analyzing the evolution of spectral functions, we attribute this enhancement to the interplay between Coulomb interaction-induced energy shifts and quantum interference effects unique to the triangular topology. We also explore how the circulation of chiral currents and electrode coupling strength modulates these interaction effects. Finally, we present a three-dimensional map of the transport current as a function of inter-dot tunneling ($t$) and Coulomb interaction ($U$), illustrating their combined effect on the current magnitude and its applications.

The Impact of Geometric Blockade on Thermoelectric Transport in Triangular Triple Quantum Dots

We investigate the transport properties of a triangular triple quantum dot (TTQD) system connected with two reservoirs under linear response regime. By employing the hierarchical equations of motion(HEOM), we compute the thermopower and thermoelectric figure of merit. The impact of interaction scheme among three quantum dots on the thermopower is thoroughly analyzed, while the thermoelectric current and spectral function throughout this process are also elaborated. Our results reveal that, under low-temperature conditions, the alleviation of the geometric blockade in the TTQD system leads to a significantly faster enhancement of the heat current compared to the electric current. This phenomenon consequently elevates the thermopower, resulting in a remarkably high thermoelectric figure of merit.

Improved Multi-Dimensional Bee Colony Algorithm for Airport Freight Station Scheduling

Due to the rapid increase of air cargo and postal transport volume, an efficient automated multi-dimensional warehouse with elevating transfer vehicles (ETVs) should be established and an effective scheduling strategy should be designed for improving the cargo handling efficiency. In this paper, artificial bee colony algorithm, which possesses strong global optimization ability and fewer parameters, is firstly introduced to simultaneously optimize the route of ETV and the assignment of entrances and exits. Moreover, for further improve the optimization performance of ABC, novel full-dimensional search strategy with parallelization, and random multi-dimensional search strategy are incorporated in the framework of ABC to improve the diversity of the population and the convergence speed respectively. Our proposed algorithms are evaluated on several benchmark functions, and then applied to solve the combinatorial optimization problem with multitask, multiple entrances and exits in air cargo terminal. The simulations show that the proposed algorithms can achieve much more desired performance than the traditional artificial bee colony algorithm at balancing the exploitation and exploration abilities.
