GeoFusion-CAD: Structure-Aware Diffusion with Geometric State Space for Parametric 3D Design

Parametric Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is fundamental to modern 3D modeling, yet existing methods struggle to generate long command sequences, especially under complex geometric and topological dependencies. Transformer-based architectures dominate CAD sequence generation due to their strong dependency modeling, but their quadratic attention cost and limited context windowing hinder scalability to long programs. We propose GeoFusion-CAD, an end-to-end diffusion framework for scalable and structure-aware generation. Our proposal encodes CAD programs as hierarchical trees, jointly capturing geometry and topology within a state-space diffusion process. Specifically, a lightweight C-Mamba block models long-range structural dependencies through selective state transitions, enabling coherent generation across extended command sequences. To support long-sequence evaluation, we introduce DeepCAD-240, an extended benchmark that increases the sequence length ranging from 40 to 240 while preserving sketch-extrusion semantics from the ABC dataset. Extensive experiments demonstrate that GeoFusion-CAD achieves superior performance on both short and long command ranges, maintaining high geometric fidelity and topological consistency where Transformer-based models degrade. Our approach sets new state-of-the-art scores for long-sequence parametric CAD generation, establishing a scalable foundation for next-generation CAD modeling systems. Curing Semantic Drift: A Dynamic Approach to Grounding Generation in Large Vision-Language Models

Large Vision-Language Models (LVLMs) face a tug-of-war between powerful linguistic priors and visual evidence, often leading to \emph{semantic drift}: a progressive detachment from the input image that can abruptly emerge at specific decoding steps. Through a token-level diagnosis, we show that hallucination is frequently triggered not by the absence of grounded candidates, but by a failure of selection -- the model chooses a linguistically convenient yet visually unfaithful token even when better grounded alternatives exist. Motivated by this insight, we propose \textbf{D}ynamic \textbf{L}ogits \textbf{C}alibration (DLC), a training-free decoding framework that introduces a lightweight visual referee to intervene exactly when drift happens. At each step, DLC performs a dual-aspect grounding check on top-$k$ candidates: (1) it assesses the intrinsic visual relevance of a candidate token and (2) its contextual visual coherence. These signals are evaluated against an adaptive historical baseline to compute a relative visual advantage, which is then used to dynamically calibrate logits and favor grounded tokens. Extensive experiments on CHAIR, POPE, SHR, GPT-4o evaluation, and MME demonstrate that DLC consistently reduces hallucinations across multiple LVLMs while preserving response quality. Further analyses validate robustness to different vision backbones and demonstrate a favorable trade-off between output quality and computational cost as the candidate pool size varies. Code will be released on https://github.com/JiaheChen2002/DLC.

BioGraphFusion: Graph Knowledge Embedding for Biological Completion and Reasoning

Motivation: Biomedical knowledge graphs (KGs) are crucial for drug discovery and disease understanding, yet their completion and reasoning are challenging. Knowledge Embedding (KE) methods capture global semantics but struggle with dynamic structural integration, while Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) excel locally but often lack semantic understanding. Even ensemble approaches, including those leveraging language models, often fail to achieve a deep, adaptive, and synergistic co-evolution between semantic comprehension and structural learning. Addressing this critical gap in fostering continuous, reciprocal refinement between these two aspects in complex biomedical KGs is paramount. Results: We introduce BioGraphFusion, a novel framework for deeply synergistic semantic and structural learning. BioGraphFusion establishes a global semantic foundation via tensor decomposition, guiding an LSTM-driven mechanism to dynamically refine relation embeddings during graph propagation. This fosters adaptive interplay between semantic understanding and structural learning, further enhanced by query-guided subgraph construction and a hybrid scoring mechanism. Experiments across three key biomedical tasks demonstrate BioGraphFusion's superior performance over state-of-the-art KE, GNN, and ensemble models. A case study on Cutaneous Malignant Melanoma 1 (CMM1) highlights its ability to unveil biologically meaningful pathways. C3S3: Complementary Competition and Contrastive Selection for Semi-Supervised Medical Image Segmentation

For the immanent challenge of insufficiently annotated samples in the medical field, semi-supervised medical image segmentation (SSMIS) offers a promising solution. Despite achieving impressive results in delineating primary target areas, most current methodologies struggle to precisely capture the subtle details of boundaries. This deficiency often leads to significant diagnostic inaccuracies. To tackle this issue, we introduce C3S3, a novel semi-supervised segmentation model that synergistically integrates complementary competition and contrastive selection. This design significantly sharpens boundary delineation and enhances overall precision. Specifically, we develop an Outcome-Driven Contrastive Learning module dedicated to refining boundary localization. Additionally, we incorporate a Dynamic Complementary Competition module that leverages two high-performing sub-networks to generate pseudo-labels, thereby further improving segmentation quality. The proposed C3S3 undergoes rigorous validation on two publicly accessible datasets, encompassing the practices of both MRI and CT scans. The results demonstrate that our method achieves superior performance compared to previous cutting-edge competitors. Especially, on the 95HD and ASD metrics, our approach achieves a notable improvement of at least 6%, highlighting the significant advancements. The code is available at https://github.com/Y-TARL/C3S3.

Decoupled Competitive Framework for Semi-supervised Medical Image Segmentation

Confronting the critical challenge of insufficiently annotated samples in medical domain, semi-supervised medical image segmentation (SSMIS) emerges as a promising solution. Specifically, most methodologies following the Mean Teacher (MT) or Dual Students (DS) architecture have achieved commendable results. However, to date, these approaches face a performance bottleneck due to two inherent limitations, \textit{e.g.}, the over-coupling problem within MT structure owing to the employment of exponential moving average (EMA) mechanism, as well as the severe cognitive bias between two students of DS structure, both of which potentially lead to reduced efficacy, or even model collapse eventually. To mitigate these issues, a Decoupled Competitive Framework (DCF) is elaborated in this work, which utilizes a straightforward competition mechanism for the update of EMA, effectively decoupling students and teachers in a dynamical manner. In addition, the seamless exchange of invaluable and precise insights is facilitated among students, guaranteeing a better learning paradigm. The DCF introduced undergoes rigorous validation on three publicly accessible datasets, which encompass both 2D and 3D datasets. The results demonstrate the superiority of our method over previous cutting-edge competitors. Code will be available at https://github.com/JiaheChen2002/DCF.

PrimeComposer: Faster Progressively Combined Diffusion for Image Composition with Attention Steering

Image composition involves seamlessly integrating given objects into a specific visual context. Current training-free methods rely on composing attention weights from several samplers to guide the generator. However, since these weights are derived from disparate contexts, their combination leads to coherence confusion and loss of appearance information. These issues worsen with their excessive focus on background generation, even when unnecessary in this task. This not only impedes their swift implementation but also compromises foreground generation quality. Moreover, these methods introduce unwanted artifacts in the transition area. In this paper, we formulate image composition as a subject-based local editing task, solely focusing on foreground generation. At each step, the edited foreground is combined with the noisy background to maintain scene consistency. To address the remaining issues, we propose PrimeComposer, a faster training-free diffuser that composites the images by well-designed attention steering across different noise levels. This steering is predominantly achieved by our Correlation Diffuser, utilizing its self-attention layers at each step. Within these layers, the synthesized subject interacts with both the referenced object and background, capturing intricate details and coherent relationships. This prior information is encoded into the attention weights, which are then integrated into the self-attention layers of the generator to guide the synthesis process. Besides, we introduce a Region-constrained Cross-Attention to confine the impact of specific subject-related tokens to desired regions, addressing the unwanted artifacts shown in the prior method thereby further improving the coherence in the transition area. Our method exhibits the fastest inference efficiency and extensive experiments demonstrate our superiority both qualitatively and quantitatively.

Privacy-Preserving ECG Data Analysis with Differential Privacy: A Literature Review and A Case Study

Differential privacy has become the preeminent technique to protect the privacy of individuals in a database while allowing useful results from data analysis to be shared. Notably, it guarantees the amount of privacy loss in the worst-case scenario. Although many theoretical research papers have been published, practical real-life application of differential privacy demands estimating several important parameters without any clear solutions or guidelines. In the first part of the paper, we provide an overview of key concepts in differential privacy, followed by a literature review and discussion of its application to ECG analysis. In the second part of the paper, we explore how to implement differentially private query release on an arrhythmia database using a six-step process. We provide guidelines and discuss the related literature for all the steps involved, such as selection of the $ε$ value, distribution of the total $ε$ budget across the queries, and estimation of the sensitivity for the query functions. At the end, we discuss the shortcomings and challenges of applying differential privacy to ECG datasets.

High-fidelity Person-centric Subject-to-Image Synthesis

Current subject-driven image generation methods encounter significant challenges in person-centric image generation. The reason is that they learn the semantic scene and person generation by fine-tuning a common pre-trained diffusion, which involves an irreconcilable training imbalance. Precisely, to generate realistic persons, they need to sufficiently tune the pre-trained model, which inevitably causes the model to forget the rich semantic scene prior and makes scene generation over-fit to the training data. Moreover, even with sufficient fine-tuning, these methods can still not generate high-fidelity persons since joint learning of the scene and person generation also lead to quality compromise. In this paper, we propose Face-diffuser, an effective collaborative generation pipeline to eliminate the above training imbalance and quality compromise. Specifically, we first develop two specialized pre-trained diffusion models, i.e., Text-driven Diffusion Model (TDM) and Subject-augmented Diffusion Model (SDM), for scene and person generation, respectively. The sampling process is divided into three sequential stages, i.e., semantic scene construction, subject-scene fusion, and subject enhancement. The first and last stages are performed by TDM and SDM respectively. The subject-scene fusion stage, that is the collaboration achieved through a novel and highly effective mechanism, Saliency-adaptive Noise Fusion (SNF). Specifically, it is based on our key observation that there exists a robust link between classifier-free guidance responses and the saliency of generated images. In each time step, SNF leverages the unique strengths of each model and allows for the spatial blending of predicted noises from both models automatically in a saliency-aware manner. Extensive experiments confirm the impressive effectiveness and robustness of the Face-diffuser.

GA-HQS: MRI reconstruction via a generically accelerated unfolding approach

Deep unfolding networks (DUNs) are the foremost methods in the realm of compressed sensing MRI, as they can employ learnable networks to facilitate interpretable forward-inference operators. However, several daunting issues still exist, including the heavy dependency on the first-order optimization algorithms, the insufficient information fusion mechanisms, and the limitation of capturing long-range relationships. To address the issues, we propose a Generically Accelerated Half-Quadratic Splitting (GA-HQS) algorithm that incorporates second-order gradient information and pyramid attention modules for the delicate fusion of inputs at the pixel level. Moreover, a multi-scale split transformer is also designed to enhance the global feature representation. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that our method surpasses previous ones on single-coil MRI acceleration tasks.

Image Denoising Using Sparsifying Transform Learning and Weighted Singular Values Minimization

In image denoising (IDN) processing, the low-rank property is usually considered as an important image prior. As a convex relaxation approximation of low rank, nuclear norm based algorithms and their variants have attracted significant attention. These algorithms can be collectively called image domain based methods, whose common drawback is the requirement of great number of iterations for some acceptable solution. Meanwhile, the sparsity of images in a certain transform domain has also been exploited in image denoising problems. Sparsity transform learning algorithms can achieve extremely fast computations as well as desirable performance. By taking both advantages of image domain and transform domain in a general framework, we propose a sparsity transform learning and weighted singular values minimization method (STLWSM) for IDN problems. The proposed method can make full use of the preponderance of both domains. For solving the non-convex cost function, we also present an efficient alternative solution for acceleration. Experimental results show that the proposed STLWSM achieves improvement both visually and quantitatively with a large margin over state-of-the-art approaches based on an alternatively single domain. It also needs much less iteration than all the image domain algorithms.
