Self-Evolving Multi-Agent Framework for Efficient Decision Making in Real-Time Strategy Scenarios

Large language models (LLMs) have demonstrated exceptional potential in complex reasoning, pioneering a new paradigm for autonomous agent decision making in dynamic settings. However, in Real-Time Strategy (RTS) scenarios, LLMs suffer from a critical speed-quality trade-off. Specifically expansive state spaces and time limits render inference delays prohibitive, while stochastic planning errors undermine logical consistency. To address these challenges, we present SEMA (Self-Evolving Multi-Agent), a novel framework designed for high-performance, low-latency decision-making in RTS environments. This collaborative multi-agent framework facilitates self-evolution by adaptively calibrating model bias through in-episode assessment and cross-episode analysis. We further incorporate dynamic observation pruning based on structural entropy to model game states topologically. By distilling high dimensional data into core semantic information, this approach significantly reduces inference time. We also develop a hybrid knowledge-memory mechanism that integrates micro-trajectories, macro-experience, and hierarchical domain knowledge, thereby enhancing both strategic adaptability and decision consistency. Experiments across multiple StarCraft II maps demonstrate that SEMA achieves superior win rates while reducing average decision latency by over 50%, validating its efficiency and robustness in complex RTS scenarios.

UniGRPO: Unified Policy Optimization for Reasoning-Driven Visual Generation

Unified models capable of interleaved generation have emerged as a promising paradigm, with the community increasingly converging on autoregressive modeling for text and flow matching for image generation. To advance this direction, we propose a unified reinforcement learning framework tailored for interleaved generation. We validate our approach on its fundamental unit: a single round of reasoning-driven image generation, where the model first expands the user prompt through reasoning, followed by image synthesis. Formulating this multimodal generation process as a Markov Decision Process with sparse terminal rewards, we introduce UniGRPO to jointly optimize text and image generation policies using GRPO. Adopting a minimalist methodology to avoid over-design, we leverage established training recipes for both modalities by seamlessly integrating standard GRPO for reasoning and FlowGRPO for visual synthesis. To ensure scalability to multi-round interleaved generation, we introduce two critical modifications to the original FlowGRPO: (1) eliminating classifier-free guidance to maintain linear, unbranched rollouts, which is essential for scaling to complex scenarios involving multi-turn interactions and multi-condition generation (e.g., editing); and (2) replacing the standard latent KL penalty with an MSE penalty directly on the velocity fields, providing a more robust and direct regularization signal to mitigate reward hacking effectively. Our experiments demonstrate that this unified training recipe significantly enhances image generation quality through reasoning, providing a robust and scalable baseline for the future post-training of fully interleaved models.

Feature Recalibration Based Olfactory-Visual Multimodal Model for Enhanced Rice Deterioration Detection

Multimodal methods are widely used in rice deterioration detection, but they exhibit limited capability in representing and extracting fine-grained abnormal features. Moreover, these methods rely on devices such as hyperspectral cameras and mass spectrometers, which increase detection costs and prolong data acquisition time. To address these issues, we propose a feature recalibration based olfactory-visual multimodal model for enhanced rice deterioration detection. A fine-grained deterioration embedding constructor (FDEC) is proposed to reconstruct the labeled multimodal embedded feature dataset, thereby enhancing sample representation. A fine-grained deterioration recalibration attention network (FDRA-Net) is proposed to emphasize signal variations and improve sensitivity to fine-grained deterioration on the rice surface. Compared with SS-Net, the proposed method improves classification accuracy by 8.67%, with an average improvement of 11.51% over other traditional baseline models, while simultaneously simplifying the detection procedure. Furthermore, field detection results demonstrate advantages in both accuracy and operational simplicity. The proposed method can also be extended to other agrifood applications in agriculture and the food industry.

SparseDVFS: Sparse-Aware DVFS for Energy-Efficient Edge Inference

Deploying deep neural networks (DNNs) on power-sensitive edge devices presents a formidable challenge. While Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling (DVFS) is widely employed for energy optimization, traditional model-level scaling is often too coarse to capture intra-inference variations, whereas fine-grained operator-level scaling suffers from prohibitive performance degradation due to significant hardware switching latency. This paper presents SparseDVFS, a fine-grained, sparse-aware DVFS framework designed for energy-efficient edge inference. Our key insight is that operator sparsity is a primary metric for hardware frequency modulation. By distinguishing between compute-bound dense operators and memory-bound sparse operators, the system can apply specialized frequency triplets to maximize energy efficiency. To overcome switching overheads and component interference, SparseDVFS incorporates three key innovations: (1) an offline modeler that established a deterministic mapping between operator sparsity and optimal frequency triplets (CPU/GPU/EMC) via white-box timeline analysis; (2) a runtime graph partitioner that utilizes a greedy merging heuristic to aggregate operators into super-blocks, balancing scaling granularity and DVFS switching latency through a latency amortization constraint; and (3) a unified co-governor that employs a frequency unified scaling engine (FUSE) and a look-ahead instruction queue to eliminate antagonistic effects between independent controllers and hide hardware transition latencies. Extensive evaluations show that SparseDVFS achieves an average 78.17% energy efficiency gain over state-of-the-art solutions while maintaining a superior 14% cost-gain ratio.

Measurement Reduction in Orbital-Optimized Variational Quantum Eigensolver via Orbital Compression

The variational quantum eigensolver (VQE) has emerged as one of the leading quantum algorithms for solving electronic structure problems on near-term noisy intermediate-scale quantum devices. However, its practical application to quantum chemistry remains challenging due to the limited coherence time, imperfect quantum gate fidelity, and the large number of measurements required, which together confine current electronic structure simulations to relatively small active spaces. In this work, we present an orbital-optimized VQE framework based on orbital compression, designed to improve the accuracy of electronic structure calculations while maintaining relatively small active spaces. Frozen natural orbitals (FNO) and split virtual orbitals (SVO) are first employed to construct compact active spaces for VQE simulations, leading to the FNO/SVO-VQE approach. Orbital optimization is then incorporated to further recover electron correlation effects, resulting in the FNO/SVO-OO-VQE methods. We apply the proposed method to simulate potential energy surfaces for molecular dissociation and the activation energy of formaldehyde decomposition. Numerical results demonstrate that both FNO-OO-VQE and SVO-OO-VQE improve the variational accuracy while substantially reducing measurement cost.

ConsRoute:Consistency-Aware Adaptive Query Routing for Cloud-Edge-Device Large Language Models

Large language models (LLMs) deliver impressive capabilities but incur substantial inference latency and cost, which hinders their deployment in latency-sensitive and resource-constrained scenarios. Cloud-edge-device collaborative inference has emerged as a promising paradigm by dynamically routing queries to models of different capacities across tiers. In this paper, we propose ConsRoute, a lightweight, semantic-aware, and adaptive routing framework that significantly improves inference efficiency while minimizing impact on response quality. Unlike prior routing methods that rely on predicting coarse-grained output quality gaps, ConsRoute leverages a reranker to directly assess the semantic consistency between responses generated by models at different tiers, yielding fine-grained soft supervision signals for routing. To minimize device-side overhead, ConsRoute reuses hidden states from the LLM prefilling stage as compact query representations, avoiding additional encoders or inference passes. Furthermore, these representations are clustered, and Bayesian optimization is employed to learn cluster-specific routing thresholds that dynamically balance quality, latency, and cost under heterogeneous query distributions. Extensive experiments demonstrate that ConsRoute achieves near-cloud performance (>=95%) while reducing end-to-end latency and inference cost by nearly 40%, consistently outperforming existing routing baselines in both response quality and system efficiency.

Observation of Strong Electron Correlation in Planetary Atomic Structure

Unravelling two-electron correlation is a long-standing challenge at the heart of few-body quantum physics, underlying correlated phenomena across atomic, molecular and condensed-matter science. In prototypical three-body Coulomb systems, such strong correlation in doubly excited states (DESs) of planetary atomic systems leaves distinct signatures in nonsequential above-threshold double ionization (NS-ATDI) driven by coherent laser fields, yet such targeted study has long remained elusive. Here we present kinematically complete measurements of multi-photon double ionization in cold strontium atoms. Our results reveal a dominant NS-ATDI channel exhibiting well-defined band structures that encode pronounced energy and angular correlations between the two emitted electrons. Autoionization spectra confirm the presence of DESs as transition states that effectively promote the NS-ATDI process. These observations provide direct evidence that both electrons are synchronously excited and ionized via resonant high-lying DES transitions, meaning the structure-linked two-electron correlation of DES is preserved and propagated in the laser-driven time-dependent three-body system. Our work transcends the traditional paradigm of multi-photon double ionization, and fundamentally reshapes the core understanding of intrinsic electron correlation governing many-body systems in nature.

VR-Thinker: Boosting Video Reward Models through Thinking-with-Image Reasoning

Recent advancements in multimodal reward models (RMs) have substantially improved post-training for visual generative models. However, current RMs face inherent limitations: (1) visual inputs consume large context budgets, forcing fewer frames and causing loss of fine-grained details; and (2) all visual information is packed into the initial prompt, exacerbating hallucination and forgetting during chain-of-thought reasoning. To overcome these issues, we introduce VideoReward Thinker (VR-Thinker), a thinking-with-image framework that equips the RM with visual reasoning operations (e.g., select frame) and a configurable visual memory window. This allows the RM to actively acquire and update visual evidence within context limits, improving reasoning fidelity and reliability. We activate visual reasoning via a reinforcement fine-tuning pipeline: (i) Cold Start with curated visual chain-of-thought data to distill basic reasoning skills and operation formatting; (ii) select samples whose per-dimension and overall judgments are all correct, then conduct Rejection sampling Fine-Tuning on these high-quality traces to further enhance reasoning; and (iii) apply Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO) to strengthen reasoning. Our approach delivers state-of-the-art accuracy among open-source models on video preference benchmarks, especially for longer videos: a 7B VR-Thinker achieves 80.5% on VideoGen Reward, 82.3% on GenAI-Bench, and 75.6% on MJ-Bench-Video. These results validate the effectiveness and promise of thinking-with-image multimodal reward modeling.

Complex Band Structure and Bound States in the Continuum: A Unified Theoretical Framework

Band structure analysis is central to understanding wave propagation in periodic media; however, it becomes challenging in open systems owing to energy leakage. Photonic crystal (PhC) slabs exemplify such systems, featuring periodicity in the $x$-$y$ plane and finite extent in the $z$-direction, and supporting diverse guided-mode resonances whose interactions give rise to phenomena such as bound states in the continuum (BICs), exceptional points (EPs), and circular polarisation states. Although numerical simulations can reveal these effects, effective non-Hermitian Hamiltonians are often employed to elucidate the underlying physical mechanisms. This approach, however, relies on manually selected resonant modes and may suffer from basis incompleteness. Here, a systematic first-principles approach is presented to derive the complex band structure. The minimal channels in the scattering matrix, either open or closed, are determined by the number of propagating bulk Bloch waves. The interactions between these waves fully reveal the complex band structure. For instance, two Bloch waves predict the leading-order imaginary frequency $ω''$ and identify accidental BICs, each associated with a dual Fabry--Pérot mode, whereas three waves reveal robust Friedrich--Wintgen and symmetry-protected BICs together with the associated linewidth behaviours. Orthogonally polarised waves are further incorporated to characterise far-field polarisation and EPs. When extended to a two-dimensional periodic structure, this framework accurately predicts $ω''$, encompasses all known BICs, and tracks their evolution with system parameters. Overall, this first-principles approach provides a unified foundation for studying complex band structure and facilitates the exploration of light confinement in periodic media.

A Deep Surrogate Model for Robust and Generalizable Long-Term Blast Wave Prediction

Accurately modeling the spatio-temporal dynamics of blast wave propagation remains a longstanding challenge due to its highly nonlinear behavior, sharp gradients, and burdensome computational cost. While machine learning-based surrogate models offer fast inference as a promising alternative, they suffer from degraded accuracy, particularly evaluated on complex urban layouts or out-of-distribution scenarios. Moreover, autoregressive prediction strategies in such models are prone to error accumulation over long forecasting horizons, limiting their robustness for extended-time simulations. To address these limitations, we propose RGD-Blast, a robust and generalizable deep surrogate model for high-fidelity, long-term blast wave forecasting. RGD-Blast incorporates a multi-scale module to capture both global flow patterns and local boundary interactions, effectively mitigating error accumulation during autoregressive prediction. We introduce a dynamic-static feature coupling mechanism that fuses time-varying pressure fields with static source and layout features, thereby enhancing out-of-distribution generalization. Experiments demonstrate that RGD-Blast achieves a two-order-of-magnitude speedup over traditional numerical methods while maintaining comparable accuracy. In generalization tests on unseen building layouts, the model achieves an average RMSE below 0.01 and an R2 exceeding 0.89 over 280 consecutive time steps. Additional evaluations under varying blast source locations and explosive charge weights further validate its generalization, substantially advancing the state of the art in long-term blast wave modeling.

Are a Thousand Words Better Than a Single Picture? Beyond Images -- A Framework for Multi-Modal Knowledge Graph Dataset Enrichment

Multi-Modal Knowledge Graphs (MMKGs) benefit from visual information, yet large-scale image collection is hard to curate and often excludes ambiguous but relevant visuals (e.g., logos, symbols, abstract scenes). We present Beyond Images, an automatic data-centric enrichment pipeline with optional human auditing. This pipeline operates in three stages: (1) large-scale retrieval of additional entity-related images, (2) conversion of all visual inputs into textual descriptions to ensure that ambiguous images contribute usable semantics rather than noise, and (3) fusion of multi-source descriptions using a large language model (LLM) to generate concise, entity-aligned summaries. These summaries replace or augment the text modality in standard MMKG models without changing their architectures or loss functions. Across three public MMKG datasets and multiple baseline models, we observe consistent gains (up to 7% Hits@1 overall). Furthermore, on a challenging subset of entities with visually ambiguous logos and symbols, converting images into text yields large improvements (201.35% MRR and 333.33% Hits@1). Additionally, we release a lightweight Text-Image Consistency Check Interface for optional targeted audits, improving description quality and dataset reliability. Our results show that scaling image coverage and converting ambiguous visuals into text is a practical path to stronger MMKG completion. V2Rho-FNO: Fourier Neural Operator for Electronic Density Prediction

Density functional theory (DFT) is a cornerstone of computational chemistry and materials science, but its computational cost limits its use in large-scale and high-throughput applications. While machine learning has accelerated energy prediction for specific molecular classes, transferable prediction of electron density across diverse chemical spaces remains challenging. Here, we present a universal framework based on Fourier Neural Operators (FNOs) that directly learns the mapping from external potentials to electron density distributions. Unlike conventional approaches that rely on explicit atomic orbitals, basis sets, or handcrafted descriptors, the proposed method captures global electronic interactions and long-range correlations through operator learning in the spatial-frequency domain. Trained on datasets spanning multiple elements and molecular geometries, the model achieves zero-shot generalization to entirely unseen molecular systems and accurately predicts their electron densities without retraining. This transferability arises from the intrinsic ability of FNOs to represent global structure in continuous fields. Our work establishes neural operator learning as a promising route for fast, accurate, and transferable electronic structure prediction, with potential applications in high-throughput screening and chemical space exploration.

Linking Perception, Confidence and Accuracy in MLLMs

Recent advances in Multi-modal Large Language Models (MLLMs) have predominantly focused on enhancing visual perception to improve accuracy. However, a critical question remains unexplored: Do models know when they do not know? Through a probing experiment, we reveal a severe confidence miscalibration problem in MLLMs. To address this, we propose Confidence-Driven Reinforcement Learning (CDRL), which uses original-noise image pairs and a novel confidence-based reward to enhance perceptual sensitivity and robustly calibrate the model's confidence. Beyond training benefits, calibrated confidence enables more effective test-time scaling as a free lunch. We further propose Confidence-Aware Test-Time Scaling (CA-TTS), which dynamically coordinates Self-Consistency, Self-Reflection, and Visual Self-Check modules guided by confidence signals. An Expert Model acts in multiple roles (e.g., Planner, Critic, Voter) to schedule these modules and provide external verification. Our integrated framework establishes new state-of-the-art results with consistent 8.8% gains across four benchmarks. More ablation studies demonstrate the effectiveness of each module and scaling superiority.

$Ψ_0$: An Open Foundation Model Towards Universal Humanoid Loco-Manipulation

We introduce $Ψ_0$ (Psi-Zero), an open foundation model to address challenging humanoid loco-manipulation tasks. While existing approaches often attempt to address this fundamental problem by co-training on large and diverse human and humanoid data, we argue that this strategy is suboptimal due to the fundamental kinematic and motion disparities between humans and humanoid robots. Therefore, data efficiency and model performance remain unsatisfactory despite the considerable data volume. To address this challenge, \ours\;decouples the learning process to maximize the utility of heterogeneous data sources. Specifically, we propose a staged training paradigm with different learning objectives: First, we autoregressively pre-train a VLM backbone on large-scale egocentric human videos to acquire generalizable visual-action representations. Then, we post-train a flow-based action expert on high-quality humanoid robot data to learn precise robot joint control. Our research further identifies a critical yet often overlooked data recipe: in contrast to approaches that scale with noisy Internet clips or heterogeneous cross-embodiment robot datasets, we demonstrate that pre-training on high-quality egocentric human manipulation data followed by post-training on domain-specific real-world humanoid trajectories yields superior performance. Extensive real-world experiments demonstrate that \ours\ achieves the best performance using only about 800 hours of human video data and 30 hours of real-world robot data, outperforming baselines pre-trained on more than 10$\times$ as much data by over 40\% in overall success rate across multiple tasks. We will open-source the entire ecosystem to the community, including a data processing and training pipeline, a humanoid foundation model, and a real-time action inference engine.

Disentangled Textual Priors for Diffusion-based Image Super-Resolution

Image Super-Resolution (SR) aims to reconstruct high-resolution images from degraded low-resolution inputs. While diffusion-based SR methods offer powerful generative capabilities, their performance heavily depends on how semantic priors are structured and integrated into the generation process. Existing approaches often rely on entangled or coarse-grained priors that mix global layout with local details, or conflate structural and textural cues, thereby limiting semantic controllability and interpretability. In this work, we propose DTPSR, a novel diffusion-based SR framework that introduces disentangled textual priors along two complementary dimensions: spatial hierarchy (global vs. local) and frequency semantics (low- vs. high-frequency). By explicitly separating these priors, DTPSR enables the model to simultaneously capture scene-level structure and object-specific details with frequency-aware semantic guidance. The corresponding embeddings are injected via specialized cross-attention modules, forming a progressive generation pipeline that reflects the semantic granularity of visual content, from global layout to fine-grained textures. To support this paradigm, we construct DisText-SR, a large-scale dataset containing approximately 95,000 image-text pairs with carefully disentangled global, low-frequency, and high-frequency descriptions. To further enhance controllability and consistency, we adopt a multi-branch classifier-free guidance strategy with frequency-aware negative prompts to suppress hallucinations and semantic drift. Extensive experiments on synthetic and real-world benchmarks show that DTPSR achieves high perceptual quality, competitive fidelity, and strong generalization across diverse degradation scenarios.

Prior-Guided Symbolic Regression: Towards Scientific Consistency in Equation Discovery

Symbolic Regression (SR) aims to discover interpretable equations from observational data, with the potential to reveal underlying principles behind natural phenomena. However, existing approaches often fall into the Pseudo-Equation Trap: producing equations that fit observations well but remain inconsistent with fundamental scientific principles. A key reason is that these approaches are dominated by empirical risk minimization, lacking explicit constraints to ensure scientific consistency. To bridge this gap, we propose PG-SR, a prior-guided SR framework built upon a three-stage pipeline consisting of warm-up, evolution, and refinement. Throughout the pipeline, PG-SR introduces a prior constraint checker that explicitly encodes domain priors as executable constraint programs, and employs a Prior Annealing Constrained Evaluation (PACE) mechanism during the evolution stage to progressively steer discovery toward scientifically consistent regions. Theoretically, we prove that PG-SR reduces the Rademacher complexity of the hypothesis space, yielding tighter generalization bounds and establishing a guarantee against pseudo-equations. Experimentally, PG-SR outperforms state-of-the-art baselines across diverse domains, maintaining robustness to varying prior quality, noisy data, and data scarcity.

The Interstellar Scintillation of the Radio-Loud Magnetar XTE J1810-197

We present a comprehensive interstellar scintillation (ISS) study of the radio-loud magnetar XTE~J1810$-$197, based on six years of multi-frequency monitoring (2018$-$2024) with the Shanghai Tian Ma Radio Telescope (TMRT) at 7.0, 8.6, and 14.0~GHz. The scintillation parameters--decorrelation bandwidth $Δν_{\rm d}$, decorrelation time $Δτ_{\rm d}$, and drift rate $dt/dν$--are fully characterized. Our measured $Δτ_{\rm d}$ implies $Δτ_{\rm d} < 4$~s at 575-725~MHz under a Kolmogorov spectrum, which is shorter than the magnetar's 5.54~s spin period. This result naturally explains the previously reported absence of pulse-to-pulse coherence at these frequencies. Kinematic modeling locates the dominant scattering screen at $1.6\pm0.1$~kpc away from the Earth, within the Sagittarius Arm. The screen coincides with the HII region JCMTSE~J180921.2$-$201932 and is unrelated to the magnetar's 2018 outburst suggested by earlier studies. A scintillation arc detected at 14.0~GHz represents the highest-frequency arc observed to date. The asymmetry of arcs is linearly correlated with a dispersion-measure gradient across the screen ($r = 0.959$, $p < 10^{-8}$). We also measure its refractive scintillation timescale, which is only $1.21\pm0.19$~d. Clear DISS at 14~GHz effectively resolves the debate over a possible strong-to-weak scattering transition at this frequency. These results extend the ISS characterization of magnetars to previously unexplored frequencies and provide a precise probe of the ionized interstellar medium in the Sagittarius Arm.

Near-Resonance-Induced Caustics and Scaling Laws in a Quantum Kicked Rotor

In this study, we investigate the dynamics of the quantum kicked rotor in the near-resonant regime and observe distinct caustic structures, such as recurring cusps, cusp oscillations, and reticular cusp patterns in high-order resonant cases. By deriving a path integral expression for the wave function's time evolution, we analytically determine both the positions of the caustic singularities and their recurrence periods. We further derive and validate a power-law scaling with an Arnold index of $1/4$, which establishes a quantitative relationship between the amplification of the wave amplitude, the kicking strength, and the resonant detuning parameter. We also explore the classical-quantum correspondence of these caustic singularities, demonstrating that chaos disrupts phase matching and ultimately erodes the caustic structure. Finally, we address the feasibility of experimental implementations of our findings and their broader ramifications for related research fields.
