Coarse and Precise $L^p$-Green Potential Estimates on Noncompact Riemannian Manifolds

We are concerned about the coarse and precise aspects of a priori estimates for Green's function of a regular domain for the Laplacian-Betrami operator on any $3\le n$-dimensional complete non-compact boundary-free Riemannian manifold through the square Sobolev/Nash/logarithmic-Sobolev inequalities plus the rough and sharp Euclidean isoperimetric inequalities. Consequently, we are led to evaluate the critical limit of an induced monotone Green's functional using the asymptotic behavior of the Lorentz norm deficit of Green's function at the infinity, as well as the harmonic radius of a regular domain in the Riemannian manifold with nonnegative Ricci curvature.

An Asymmetric Affine Pólya--Szegö Principle

An affine rearrangement inequality is established which strengthens and implies the recently obtained affine Pólya--Szegö symmetrization principle for functions on $\mathbb{R}^n$. Several applications of this new inequality are derived. In particular, a sharp affine logarithmic Sobolev inequality is established which is stronger than its classical Euclidean counterpart.

The double Ringel-Hall algebra on a hereditary abelian finitary length category

In this paper, we study the category $\mathscr{H}^{(ρ)}$ of semi-stable coherent sheaves of a fixed slope $ρ$ over a weighted projective curve. This category has nice properties: it is a hereditary abelian finitary length category. We will define the Ringel-Hall algebra of $\mathscr{H}^{(ρ)}$ and relate it to generalized Kac-Moody Lie algebras. Finally we obtain the Kac type theorem to describe the indecomposable objects in this category, i.e. the indecomposable semi-stable sheaves.

Optimal Monotonicity of $L^p$ Integral of Conformal Invariant Green Function

Both analytic and geometric forms of an optimal monotone principle for $L^p$-integral of the Green function of a simply-connected planar domain $Ω$ with rectifiable simple curve as boundary are established through a sharp one-dimensional power integral estimate of Riemann-Stieltjes type and the Huber analytic and geometric isoperimetric inequalities under finiteness of the positive part of total Gauss curvature of a conformal metric on $Ω$. Consequently, new analytic and geometric isoperimetric-type inequalities are discovered. Furthermore, when applying the geometric principle to two-dimensional Riemannian manifolds, we find fortunately that $\{0,1\}$-form of the induced principle is midway between Moser-Trudinger's inequality and Nash-Sobolev's inequality on complete noncompact boundary-free surfaces, and yet equivalent to Nash-Sobolev's/Faber-Krahn's eigenvalue/Heat-kernel-upper-bound/Log-Sobolev's inequality on the surfaces with finite total Gauss curvature and quadratic area growth.

The $p$-Faber-Krahn Inequality Noted

When revisiting the Faber-Krahn inequality for the principal $p$-Laplacian eigenvalue of a bounded open set in $\mathbb R^n$ with smooth boundary, we simply rename it as the $p$-Faber-Krahn inequality and interestingly find that this inequality may be improved but also characterized through Maz'ya's capacity method, the Euclidean volume, the Sobolev type inequality and Moser-Trudinger's inequality.

The elements in crystal bases corresponding to exceptional modules

According to the Ringel-Green Theorem([G],[R1]), the generic composition algebra of the Hall algebra provides a realization of the positive part of the quantum group. Furthermore, its Drinfeld double can be identified with the whole quantum group([X],[XY]), in which the BGP-reflection functors coincide with Lusztig's symmetries. We first assert the elements corresponding to exceptional modules lie in the integral generic composition algebra, hence in the integral form of the quantum group. Then we prove that these elements lie in the crystal basis up to a sign. Eventually we show that the sign can be removed by the geometric method. Our results hold for any type of Cartan datum.

A multiplication formula for module subcategories of Ext-symmetry

We define evaluation forms associated to objects in a module subcategory of Ext-symmetry generated by finitely many simple modules over a path algebra with relations and prove a multiplication formula for the product of two evaluation forms. It is analogous to a multiplication formula for the product of two evaluation forms associated to modules over a preprojective algebra given by Geiss, Leclerc and Schröer in \cite{GLS2006}.

Realizing Enveloping Algebras via Varieties of Modules

By using the Ringel-Hall algebra approach, we investigate the structure of the Lie algebra $L(Λ)$ generated by indecomposable constructible sets in the varieties of modules for any finite dimensional $\mathbb{C}$-algebra $Λ.$ We obtain a geometric realization of the universal enveloping algebra $R(Λ)$ of $L(Λ).$ This generalizes the main result of Riedtmann in \cite{R}. We also obtain Green's theorem in \cite{G} in a geometric form for any finite dimensional $\mathbb{C}$-algebra $Λ$ and use it to give the comultiplication formula in $R(Λ).$

A $\mathbb{Z}$-basis for the cluster algebra associated to an affine quiver

The canonical bases of cluster algebras of finite types and rank 2 are given explicitly in \cite{CK2005} and \cite{SZ} respectively. In this paper, we will deduce $\mathbb{Z}$-bases for cluster algebras for affine types $\widetilde{A}_{n,n},\widetilde{D}$ and $\widetilde{E}$. Moreover, we give an inductive formula for computing the multiplication between two generalized cluster variables associated to objects in a tube.

Toward Best Isoperimetric Constants for $(H^1,BMO)$-Normal Conformal Metrics on $\mathbb R^n$, $n\ge 3$

The aim of this article is: (a) To establish the existence of the best isoperimetric constants for the $(H^1,BMO)$-normal conformal metrics $e^{2u}|dx|^2$ on $\mathbb R^n$, $n\ge 3$, i.e., the conformal metrics with the Q-curvature orientated conditions $$ (-Δ)^{n/2}u\in H^1(\mathbb R^n) & \ u(x)=\hbox{const.}+\frac{\int_{\mathbb R^n}(\log\frac{|\cdot|}{|x-\cdot|})(-Δ)^{n/2} u(\cdot) d\mathcal{H}^n(\cdot)}{2^{n-1}π^{n/2}Γ(n/2)}; $$ (b) To prove that $(nω_n^\frac1n)^\frac{n}{n-1}$ is the optimal upper bound of the best isoperimetric constants for the complete $(H^1,BMO)$-normal conformal metrics with nonnegative scalar curvature; (c) To find the optimal upper bound of the best isoperimetric constants via the quotients of two power integrals of Green's functions for the $n$-Laplacian operators $-\hbox{div}(|\nabla u|^{n-2}\nabla u)$.

Green formula in Hall algebras and cluster algebras

The objective of the present paper is to give a survey of recent progress on applications of the approaches of Ringel-Hall type algebras to quantum groups and cluster algebras via various forms of Green's formula. In this paper, three forms of Green's formula are highlighted, (1) the original form of Green's formula \cite{Green}\cite{RingelGreen}, (2) the degeneration form of Green's formula \cite{DXX} and (3) the projective form of Green's formula \cite{XX2007a} i.e. Green formula with a $\bbc^{*}$-action.

Green's formula with $\bbc^{*}$-action and Caldero-Keller's formula for cluster algebras

It is known that Green's formula over finite fields gives rise to the comultiplications of Ringel-Hall algebras and quantum groups (see\cite{Green}, also see \cite{Lusztig}). In this paper, we deduce the projective version of Green's formula in a geometric way. Then following the method of Hubery in \cite{Hubery2005}, we apply this formula to proving Caldero-Keller's multiplication formula for acyclic cluster algebras of arbitrary type.

The $\mathcal{Q}_p$ Carleson Measure Problem

Let $μ$ be a nonnegative Borel measure on the open unit disk $\mathbb{D}\subset\mathbb{C}$. This note shows how to decide that the Möbius invariant space $\mathcal{Q}_p$, covering $\mathcal{BMOA}$ and $\mathcal{B}$, is boundedly (resp., compactly) embedded in the quadratic tent-type space $T^\infty_p(μ)$. Interestingly, the embedding result can be used to determine the boundedness (resp., the compactness) of the Volterra-type and multiplication operators on $\mathcal{Q}_p$.

Representations of tame quivers and affine canonical bases

An integral PBW-basis of type $A_1^{(1)}$ has been constructed by Zhang [Z] and Chen [C] using the Auslander-Reiten quiver of the Kronecker quiver. We associate a geometric order to elements in this basis following an idea of Lusztig [L1] in the case of finite type. This leads to an algebraic realization of a bar-invariant basis of $\uq2$. For any affine symmetric type, we obtain an integral PBW-basis of the generic composition algebra, by using an algebraic construction of the integral basis for a tube in [DDX], an embedding of the module category of the Kronecker quiver into the module category of the tame quiver, and a list of the root vectors of indecomposable modules according to the preprojective, regular, and preinjective components of the Auslander-Reiten quiver of the tame quiver. When the basis elements are ordered to be compatible with the geometric order given by the dimensions of the orbit varieties and the extension varieties, we can show that the transition matrix between the PBW-basis and a monomial basis is triangular with diagonal entries equal to 1. Therefore we obtain a bar-invariant basis. By a orthogonalization for the PBW-basis with the inner product, we finally give an algebraic way to realize the canonical bases of the quantized enveloping algebras of all symmetric affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras.
