No Prompt, No Leaks: A Robust Generative Steganography Framework via Prompt-Free Diffusion

Generative image steganography synthesizes stego images directly from secret information to achieve inherent security advantages. Latent Diffusion Models (LDMs) have recently emerged as a fundamental image steganography framework that modulates secret latent representations with text prompts. Limited by the inflexibility of text prompts, these methods still struggle to generate high-quality stego images and accurately recover secret images. In this work, we propose a prompt-free diffusion image steganography framework that integrates style semantic priors to control more robust and reliable stego image generation. Specifically, a Cascaded Affine Coupling Module (CACM) establishes a bijective, deterministic mapping between a secret image and its latent representation. Then, style semantics are integrated into the diffusion process to control latent representation and ensure visual imperceptibility in the generated stego images. To mitigate trajectory deviations stemming from the unconditioned reverse process, a predictor-corrector mechanism is introduced to iteratively refine the generation trajectory via feedback from the current and predicted next states. Extensive experimental results show that the proposed method achieves competitive performance compared to state-of-the-art methods in terms of security, secret image reconstruction accuracy and controllability.

From Precision to Perception: User-Centred Evaluation of Keyword Extraction Algorithms for Internet-Scale Contextual Advertising

Keyword extraction is a foundational task in natural language processing, underpinning countless real-world applications. One of these is contextual advertising, where keywords help predict the topical congruence between ads and their surrounding media contexts to enhance advertising effectiveness. Recent advances in artificial intelligence have improved keyword extraction capabilities but also introduced concerns about computational cost. Moreover, although the end-user experience is of vital importance, human evaluation of keyword extraction performances remains under-explored. This study provides a comparative evaluation of prevalent keyword extraction algorithms with different levels of complexity represented by~TF-IDF, KeyBERT, and Llama~2. To evaluate their effectiveness, a mixed-methods approach is employed, combining quantitative benchmarking with qualitative assessments from 855 participants through four survey-based experiments. The findings demonstrate that KeyBERT achieves an effective balance between user preferences and computational efficiency, compared to the other algorithms. We observe a clear overall preference for gold-standard keywords, but there is a misalignment between algorithmic benchmark performance and user ratings. This reveals a long-overlooked gap between traditional precision-focused metrics and user-perceived algorithm efficiency. The study underscores the importance of human-in-the-loop evaluation methodologies and proposes analytical tools to facilitate their implementation.

Exploring Efficient-Tuned Learning Audio Representation Method from BriVL

Recently, researchers have gradually realized that in some cases, the self-supervised pre-training on large-scale Internet data is better than that of high-quality/manually labeled data sets, and multimodal/large models are better than single or bimodal/small models. In this paper, we propose a robust audio representation learning method WavBriVL based on Bridging-Vision-and-Language (BriVL). WavBriVL projects audio, image and text into a shared embedded space, so that multi-modal applications can be realized. We demonstrate the qualitative evaluation of the image generated from WavBriVL as a shared embedded space, with the main purposes of this paper:(1) Learning the correlation between audio and image;(2) Explore a new way of image generation, that is, use audio to generate pictures. Experimental results show that this method can effectively generate appropriate images from audio.
