$R^2$ corrections to holographic heavy meson dissociation

In this paper, we investigate the $R^2$ corrections to the dissociation of heavy quarkonium in the Gauss-Bonnet gravitational background. We analyze the impact of Gauss-Bonnet parameter $λ_{GB}$ on the spectral function of charmonium and bottomonium, and examine how $λ_{GB}$ affects the dissociation of heavy quarkonium. Our results show that $λ_{GB}$ reduces the peak height and increases the peak width of the spectral function, suggesting that $λ_{GB}$ enhances the dissociation of heavy quarkonium. We also discuss how the dissociation of heavy quarkonium varies with the ratio of shear viscosity to entropy density and find the dissociation will be easier in more perfect plasma. Additionally, we observe that the temperature decreases the peak height and widens the peak, thereby accelerating the dissociation.

Heavy quarkonium spectral function in the spinning black hole background

In this paper, we study the dissociation of heavy quarkonium in the spinning black hole background. Specifically, we analyze the spectral function of charmonium and bottomonium in the spinning black hole background and examine how the angular momentum affects the dissociation of $J/Ψ$ and $Υ(1S)$. From the results, we find that the angular momentum and temperature decreases the peak height and expands the peak width of the spectral function, thereby enhancing the dissociation of heavy vector mesons. Moreover, the angular momentum has a stronger dissociation effect in the transverse orientation, revealing the directional influence of angular momentum.

Lepton flavor violating Higgs decay $h\rightarrow μτ$ in the littlest Higgs Model with T-parity

Inspired by the recent CMS $h \to μτ$ excess, we calculate the lepton flavor violating Higgs decay $h \to μτ$ in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (LHT). Under the constraints of $\ell_i \to \ell_j γ$, $Z \to \ell_i \bar{\ell}_j$ and Higgs data, we find that the branching ratio of $h \to μτ$ can maximally reach $\mathcal O(10^{-4})$. We also investigate the correlation between $h \to μτ$, $τ\to μγ$ and $Z \to μτ$, which can be used to test LHT model at future $e^+e^-$ colliders.

Neutrino mass matrices with one texture equality and one vanishing neutrino mass

In the light of latest data of neutrino oscillation experiments, we carry out a systematic investigation on the texture structures of Majorana neutrino mass matrix $M_ν$, which contain one vanishing neutrino mass and an equality between two matrix elements. Among 15 logically possible patterns, it is found that for norm order ($m_{3}>m_{2}>m_{1}=0$) of neutrino masses only five of them are compatible with recent experimental data at the $3σ$ level, while for inverted order ($m_{2}>m_{1}>m_{3}=0$) ten patterns is phenomenologically allowed. In the numerical analysis, we perform a scan over the parameter space of all viable patterns to get a large sample of scattering points. We present the implications of each allowed pattern for three mixing angles $(θ_{12},θ_{2},θ_{3})$, leptonic CP violation and neutrinoless double-beta decay, predicting strong correlations between oscillation parameters. The theoretical realization of a concrete example is discussed in the framework of Froggatt-Nielsen mechanism.

Higgs boson production in the $U(1)_{B-L}$ model at the ILC

In the framework of the minimal $U(1)_{B-L}$ extension of the Standard Model, we investigate the Higgs boson production processes $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow ZH$, $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow ν_{e}\bar{ν_{e}}H$, $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow t\bar{t}H$, $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow ZHH$ and $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow ν_{e}\bar{ν_{e}}HH$ at the International Linear Collider (ILC). We present the production cross sections, the relative corrections and compare our results with the expected experimental accuracies for Higgs decay channel $H\rightarrow b\bar{b}$. In the allowed parameter space, we find that the effects of the three single Higgs boson production processes might approach the observable threshold of the ILC, and that the Higgs signal strengths $μ_{b\bar{b}}$ of the two double Higgs boson production processes are all out of the observable threshold of the ILC so that the effects will be difficult to be observed at the ILC.

Single top and Higgs associated production in the minimal $B-L$ model at the LHC

In this paper, we study the single top production in association with a Higgs boson in the $U(1)_{B-L}$ extension of the Standard Model at the LHC. We calculate the production cross sections of the processes $pp\rightarrow thX(h=H_{1},H_{2};X=j,b,W)$ in this model. Then we further study the observability of the process $pp\rightarrow tH_{2}j$ through $pp\rightarrow t(\rightarrow q\bar{q'} b)H_{2}(\rightarrow 4\ell)j$. We find that the systematic significance can be improved obviously, but it is still challenging for the 14 TeV LHC with high-luminosity to detect this signal.

Enhancing $t\bar{t}hh$ production through CP-violating top-Higgs interaction at the LHC, ILC and a 100 TeV collider

The measurement of Higgs self-coupling is one of the most crucial physics goals at the future colliders. At the LHC, the di-Higgs production is a main way to measure the Higgs trilinear coupling. As a complementary to the di-Higgs production, $t \bar{t} hh$ process may open a new avenue to measure di-Higgs physics at the LHC and a future 100 TeV $pp$ collider or a high energy $e^+e^-$ collider since the extra $t\bar t$ in the final states may efficiently suppress the backgrounds. However, such a kind of process is also controlled by the top-Higgs coupling. In this work, we investigate the impact of CP-violating top-Higgs coupling on $t\bar{t}hh$ production at the LHC, ILC and a 100 TeV hadron collider under the current Higgs data. Within 2$σ$ Higgs data allowed parameter region, we find that the cross section of $t\bar{t}hh$ at the LHC-14 TeV, ILC-1 TeV and VHE-LHC/SPPC-100 TeV can be enhanced up to 2.1 times the SM predictions. The future precise measurement of Higgs coupling will reveal the nature of top-Higgs interaction and improve the sensitivity of the determination of Higgs self-coupling through $t\bar{t}hh$ production.

Higgs boson production and decay at $e^{+}e^{-}$ colliders as a probe of the Left-Right twin Higgs model

In the framework of the Left-Right twin Higgs (LRTH) model, we consider the constrains from the latest search for high-mass dilepton resonances at the LHC and find that the heavy neutral boson $Z_H$ is excluded with mass below 2.76 TeV. Under these constrains, we study the Higgs-Gauge coupling production processes $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow ZH$, $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow ν_{e}\bar{ν_{e}}H$ and $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow e^{+}e^{-}H$, top quark Yukawa coupling production process $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow t\bar{t}H$, Higgs self-couplings production processes $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow ZHH$ and $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow ν_{e}\bar{ν_{e}}HH$ at $e^{+}e^{-}$ colliders. Besides, we study the major decay modes of the Higgs boson, namely $h\rightarrow f\bar{f}$($f=b,c,τ$), $VV^{*}(V=W, Z)$, $gg$, $γγ$. We find that the LRTH effects are sizable so that the Higgs boson processes at $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider can be a sensitive probe for the LRTH model.

Associated production of single top and Higgs at the LHC in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity

In the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (LHT), we study the $t$-channel single top production in association with a Higgs boson at 8 and 14 TeV LHC. We find that the cross section can be enhanced obviously in this model compared to the Standard Model. By performing a simple parton-level simulation through $pp\rightarrow t(\rightarrow \ell^{+}νb)h(\rightarrow b\bar{b})j$ at 14 TeV LHC, we find that the observability of the signal is promising in the favorable parameter space.

Impact of top-Higgs couplings on di-Higgs production at future colliders

Measuring the Higgs-self coupling is one of the most crucial goals of the future colliders, such as the LHC Run-II and the ILC-based photon collider. Since the new physics can affects the di-Higgs production not only from the Higgs self-coupling but also from the top-Higgs coupling, we investigate the di-Higgs production in the presence of the non-standard top-Higgs coupling at the LHC and ILC-based photon collider given the recent Higgs data. Due to the changed interference behaviors of the top quark loops with itself or $W$ boson loops, we find that the cross section of di-Higgs production at the LHC-14 TeV and ILC-500 GeV can be respectively enhanced up to nearly 3 and 2 times the SM predictions within 2$σ$ Higgs data allowed parameter region.

Single Higgs boson production at $e^{+}e^{-}$ colliders in the Littlest Higgs Model with T-parity

In this work, we investigate the Higgs-boson production processes $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow ZH$, $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow ν_{e}\bar{ν_{e}}H$ and $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow e^{+}e^{-}H$ in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity. We present the production cross sections, the relative corrections and some distributions of the final states. In the allowed parameter space, we find that the relative corrections of the three production channels are negative, the relative correction of the $ZH$ production can reach $-7.5\%$ and the relative corrections of the $ν_{e}\bar{ν_{e}}H$ and $e^{+}e^{-}H$ production can both reach $-6.5\%$ for $\sqrt{s}=500$ GeV with the scale $f=$694 GeV.

Associated production of the $Z$ boson with a pair of top quarks in the left-right twin Higgs model

In the context of the left-right twin Higgs (LRTH) model, we first examine the effects on the $Zt\bar t$ production at the ILC and LHC. Our results show that the cross-sections can be significantly deviated from the standard model predictions and thus provide a good probe for the LRTH model. We also estimate the new production channel, $Zt\bar T $ or $Z\bar t T $ production, at the LHC. Compared with $Zt \bar t$ production, we find that the $Z t \bar T$ production can have a sizable production rate when the scale $f$ is not too high. Considering the dominant decay mode $T\rightarrow ϕ^{+}b\rightarrow tb\bar b$, we find that $Z t\bar T $ final state has less background than $Zt\bar t$ production and may likely be observable at the LHC.

Top Quark FCNC Decay to 125GeV Higgs boson in the Littlest Higgs Model with T-parity

Motivated by the current observation of a 125 GeV Higgs boson, we calculate $t\rightarrow cH$ and $t\rightarrow cg(γ)H$ in the unitary gauge in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity(LHT). Due to the large contribution from the new mirror fermions, we find that the branching ratios of $t\rightarrow cH$ and $t\rightarrow cgH$ can be greatly enhanced in the LHT model and maximally reach $\mathcal O(10^{-5})$ in the allowed parameter space. When the mirror fermion mass $M_3 > 2(1.5)$ TeV and the cut-off scale $f=500$ GeV, the process of $pp \to t\bar{t} \to 3b +c +\ell+ \slashed E_{T}^{miss}$ can reach $3σ$($5σ$) sensitivity at 8(14) TeV LHC with luminosity $\cal{L}$ $=20(300) fb^{-1}$.

In the littlest Higgs model with T-parity, we studied the contributions of the new particles to the top-quark pair production via $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision at the International Linear Collider. We calculated the top-quark pair production cross section and found this process can generate significantly relative correction. The result may be a sensitive probe of the littlest Higgs model with T-parity.

The flavor-changing bottom and anti-strange quark production in the littlest Higgs model with T parity at the ILC

In the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (LHT) the mirror quarks induce the special flavor structures and some new flavor-changing (FC) couplings which could greatly enhance the production rates of the FC processes. We in this paper study some bottom and anti-strange production processes in the LHT model at the International Linear Collider (ILC), i.e., $e^+e^-\to b\bar{s}$ and $γγ\to b\bar{s}$. The results show that the production rates of these processes are sizeable for the favorable values of the parameters. Therefore, it is quite possible to test the LHT model or make some constrains on the relevant parameters of the LHT through the detection of these processes at the ILC.

Pair production of charged top-pions in the $γγ$ collisions at the ILC

The top-color assisted technicolor (TC2) mode predicts the existence of a pair of charged top-pions $π^{\pm}_t$. In this paper, we study the production of the charged top-pions pair $π^{\pm}_t$ at next generation $γγ$ colliders. The results show that the production rates can reach the level of $10^2$ fb with reasonable parameter space. With a large number of events and the clean background, the charged top-pion should be observable at the $γγ$ colliders. Therefore, our studies can help us to search for charged top-pion, and furthermore, to test the TC2 model.

The Study of the contribution of the LHT model to $Zb\bar{b}$ coupling

In the framework of the Littlest Higgs Model with T-parity (LHT), we study the contributions of the new particles to $Zb\bar{b}$ couplings at one-loop level. Based on these results, we further study the branching ratio $R_{b}$ and the unpolarized forward-backward asymmetry ${A_{FB}^{b}}$. We find that the correction of the new particles to $Zb\bar{b}$ couplings is mainly on the left-handed coupling and has small part of the parameter space to alleviate the deviation between theoretical predictions and experimental values. The precision measurement value of $R_{b}$ can give severe constraints on the relevant parameters. The constraints from the precision measurement value of ${A_{FB}^{b}}$ are very weak.
