Uniform resolvent estimates for Schrödinger operator with an inverse-square potential

We study the uniform resolvent estimates for Schrödinger operator with a Hardy-type singular potential. Let $\mathcal{L}_V=-Δ+V(x)$ where $Δ$ is the usual Laplacian on $\mathbb{R}^n$ and $V(x)=V_0(θ) r^{-2}$ where $r=|x|, θ=x/|x|$ and $V_0(θ)\in\mathcal{C}^1(\mathbb{S}^{n-1})$ is a real function such that the operator $-Δ_θ+V_0(θ)+(n-2)^2/4$ is a strictly positive operator on $L^2(\mathbb{S}^{n-1})$. We prove some new uniform weighted resolvent estimates and also obtain some uniform Sobolev estimates associated with the operator $\mathcal{L}_V$.

The Defocusing Energy-critical Klein-Gordon-Hartree Equation

In this paper, we study the scattering theory for the defocusing energy-critical Klein-Gordon equation with a cubic convolution $u_{tt}-Δu+u+(|x|^{-4}\ast|u|^2)u=0$ in the spatial dimension $d \geq 5$. We utilize the strategy in [S. Ibrahim, N. Masmoudi and K. Nakanishi, Scattering threshold for the focusing nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation. Analysis and PDE., 4 (2011), 405-460.] derived from concentration compactness ideas to show that the proof of the global well-posedness and scattering is reduced to disprove the existence of the soliton-like solution. Employing technique from [B. Pausader, Scattering for the Beam Equation in Low Dimensions. Indiana Univ. Math. J., 59 (2010), 791-822.], we consider a virial-type identity in the direction orthogonal to the momentum vector so as to exclude such solution.

Hölder regularity for the time fractional Schrödinger equation

In this paper, we investigate that the Hölder regularity of solutions to the time fractional Schrödinger equation of order $1<α<2$, which interpolates between the Schrödinger and wave equations. This is inspired by Hirata and Miao's work which studied the fractional diffusion-wave equation. First, we give the asymptotic behavior for the oscillatory distributional kernels and their Bessel potentials by using Fourier analytic techniques. Then, the space regularity is derived by employing some results on singular Fourier multipliers. Using the asymptotic behavior for the above kernels, we prove the time regularity. Finally, we use mismatch estimates to prove the pointwise convergence to the initial data in Hölder spaces. In addition, we also prove Hölder regularity result for the Schrödinger equation.

Linear adjoint restriction estimates for paraboloid

We prove a class of modified paraboloid restriction estimates with a loss of angular derivatives for the full set of paraboloid restriction conjecture indices. This result generalizes the paraboloid restriction estimate in radial case from [Shao, Rev. Mat. Iberoam. 25(2009), 1127-1168], as well as the result from [Miao et al. Proc. AMS 140(2012), 2091-2102]. As an application, we show a local smoothing estimate for a solution of the linear Schrödinger equation under the assumption that the initial datum has additional angular regularity.

Scattering for 3d cubic focusing NLS on the domain outside a convex obstacle revisited

In this article, we consider the focusing cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation(NLS) in the exterior domain outside of a convex obstacle in $\mathbb{R}^3$ with Dirichlet boundary conditions. We revisit the scattering result below ground state of Killip-Visan-Zhang by utilizing Dodson and Murphy's argument and the dispersive estimate established by Ivanovici and Lebeau, which avoids using the concentration compactness. We conquer the difficulty of the boundary in the focusing case by establishing a local smoothing effect of the boundary. Based on this effect and the interaction Morawetz estimates, we prove the solution decays at a large time interval, which meets the scattering criterions.

Nonlinear Schrödinger equation with Coulomb potential

In this paper, we study the Cauchy problem for the nonlinear Schrödinger equations with Coulomb potential $i\partial_tu+Δu+\frac{K}{|x|}u=λ|u|^{p-1}u$ with $1 0$ and scattering theory when the Coulomb potential is repulsive i.e. $K\leq0$. The argument is based on the interaction Morawetz-type inequalities and the equivalence of Sobolev norms.

Low regularity blowup solutions for the mass-critical NLS in higher dimensions

In this paper, we study the $H^s$-stability of the log-log blowup regime (which has been completely described in a series of recent works by Merle and Raphael) for the focusing mass-critical nonlinear Schrödinger equations $i\partial_tu+Δu+|u|^\frac4du=0$ in $\mathbb{R}^d$ with $d\geq3$. We aim to extend the result in [Colliander and Raphael, Rough blowup solutions to the $L^2$ critical NLS, Math. Anna., 345(2009), 307-366.] for dimension two to the higher dimensions cases $d\geq3$, where we use the bootstrap argument in the above paper and the commutator estimates in [M. Visan and X. Zhang, On the blowup for the $L^2$-critical focusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation in higher dimensions below the energy class. SIAM J. Math. Anal., 39(2007), 34-56.].

The energy-critical nonlinear wave equation with an inverse-square potential

We study the energy-critical nonlinear wave equation in the presence of an inverse-square potential in dimensions three and four. In the defocusing case, we prove that arbitrary initial data in the energy space lead to global solutions that scatter. In the focusing case, we prove scattering below the ground state threshold.

Focusing NLS with inverse square potential

In this paper, we utilize the method in Dodson-Murphy [4] to establish the radial scattering result for the focusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation with inverse square potential $i\pa_tu-\la u=-|u|^{p-1}u$ in the energy space $H^1_a(\R^d)$ in dimensions $d\geq3$, which extends the result of [10,11] to higher dimensions cases but with radial initial data. The new ingredient is to establish the dispersive estimate for radial function and overcome the weak dispersive estimate when $a<0$.

On the 4D Nonlinear Schrödinger equation with combined terms under the energy threshold

In this paper, we consider the longtime dynamics of the solutions to focusing energy-critical Schrödinger equation with a defocusing energy-subcritical perturbation term under a ground state energy threshold in four spatial dimension. This extends the results in Miao et al. (Commun Math Phys 318(3):767-808, 2013, The dynamics of the NLS with the combined terms in five and higher dimensions. Some topics in harmonic analysis and applications, advanced lectures in mathematics, ALM34, Higher Education Press, Beijing, pp 265-298, 2015) to four dimension without radial assumption and the proof of scattering is based on the interaction Morawetz estimates developed in Dodson (Global well-posedness and scattering for the focusing, energy-critical nonlinear Schröinger problem in dimension $d=4$ for initial data below a ground state threshold, arXiv:1409.1950), the main ingredients of which requires us to overcome the logarithmic failure in the double Duhamel argument in four dimensions.

Scattering below ground state of 3D focusing cubic fractional Schordinger equation with radial data

The aim of this note is to adapt the strategy in [4][See,B.Dodson, J.Murphy, a new proof of scattering below the ground state for the 3D radial focusing cubic NLS, arXiv:1611.04195 ] to prove the scattering of radial solutions below sharp threshold for certain focusing fractional NLS with cubic nonlinearity. The main ingredient is to apply the fractional virial identity proved in [11][See,T.Boulenger, D.Himmelsbach,E.Lenzmann, Blow up for fractional NLS,J.Func.Anal,271(2016),2569-2603] to exclude the concentration of mass near the origin.

Global-in-time Strichartz estimates for Schrodinger on scattering manifolds

We study the global-in-time Strichartz estimates for the Schrödinger equation on a class of scattering manifolds $X^{\circ}$. Let $\mathcal{L}_V=Δ_g+V$ where $Δ_g$ is the Beltrami-Laplace operator on the scattering manifold and $V$ is a real potential function on this setting. We first extend the global-in-time Strichartz estimate in Hassell-Zhang \cite{HZ} on the requirement of $V(z)=O(\langle z\rangle^{-3})$ to $O(\langle z\rangle^{-2})$ and secondly generalize the result to the scattering manifold with a mild trapped set as well as Bouclet-Mizutani\cite{BM} but with a potential. We also obtain a global-in-time local smoothing estimate on this geometry setting.

Strichartz estimate and nonlinear Klein-Gordon on non-trapping scattering space

We study the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation on a product space $M=\R\times X$ with metric $\tilde{g}=dt^2-g$ where $g$ is the scattering metic on $X$. We establish the global-in-time Strichartz estimate for Klein-Gordon equation without loss of derivative by using the microlocalized spectral measure of Laplacian on scattering manifold showed in \cite{HZ} and a Littlewood-Paley squarefunction estimate proved in \cite{Zhang}. We prove the global existence and scattering for a family of nonlinear Klein-Gordon equations for small initial data with minimum regularity on this setting.

The focusing cubic NLS with inverse-square potential in three space dimensions

We consider the focusing cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation with inverse-square potential in three space dimensions. We identify a sharp threshold between scattering and blowup, establishing a result analogous to that of Duyckaerts, Holmer, and Roudenko for the standard focusing cubic NLS. We also prove failure of uniform space-time bounds at the threshold.

Scattering theory below energy space for two dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation

The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the I-method by studying low-regularity solutions of the nonlinear Schr\'[o]dinger equation in two space dimensions. By applying this method, together with the interaction Morawetz estimate, (see [J. Colliander, M. Grillakis and N. Tzirakis, Tensor products and correlation estimates with applications to nonlinear Schrödinger equations, Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 62(2009)920-968; F. Planchon and L. Vega, Bilinear virial identities and applications, Ann. Sci. Ecole Norm. Sup. 42(2009)261-290]), establish global well-posedness and scattering for low-regularity solutions of the equation $iu_t + Δu = λ_1|u|^{p_1} u + λ_2|u|^{p_2} u$ under certain assumptions on parameters. This is the first result of this type for an equation which is not scale-invariant. In the first step, we establish global well-posedness and scattering for low regularity solutions of the equation $iu_t + Δu = |u|^p u$, for a suitable range of the exponent $p$ extending the result of Colliander, Grillakis and Tzirakis [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 62(2009)920-968].

An improved maximal inequality for 2D fractional order Schrödinger operators

The local maximal inequality for the Schrödinger operators of order $\a>1$ is shown to be bounded from $H^s(\R^2)$ to $L^2$ for any $s>\frac38$. This improves the previous result of Sjölin on the regularity of solutions to fractional order Schrödinger equations. Our method is inspired by Bourgain's argument in case of $\a=2$. The extension from $\a=2$ to general $\a>1$ confronts three essential obstacles: the lack of Lee's reduction lemma, the absence of the algebraic structure of the symbol and the inapplicable Galilean transformation in the deduction of the main theorem. We get around these difficulties by establishing a new reduction lemma at our disposal and analyzing all the possibilities in using the separateness of the segments to obtain the analogous bilinear $L^2-$estimates. To compensate the absence of Galilean invariance, we resort to Taylor's expansion for the phase function. The Bourgain-Guth inequality in \cite{ref Bourgain Guth} is also rebuilt to dominate the solution of fractional order Schrödinger equations.
