Investigation of the mass spectra of singly heavy baryons $\Sigma_{Q}$, $\Xi^{\prime}_{Q}$ and $\Omega_{Q}$ $(Q=c, b)$ in the Regge trajectory model

Very recently, LHCb Collaboration observed that two new $\Omega_{c}^{0}$ states decay into $\Xi^{+}_{c}K^{-}$ with masses of about $3185$ MeV and $3327$ MeV. However, their spin parity quantum numbers $J^{P}$ have not been determined. In this paper, we exploit the quark-diquark model, the linear Regge trajectory and the perturbation treatment method to analyze the mass spectra of the discovered experimental data for the singly heavy baryons $\Sigma_{c}/\Sigma_{b}$, $\Xi^{\prime}_{c}/\Xi^{\prime}_{b}$ and $\Omega_{c}/\Omega_{b}$. In addition, we further predict the mass spectra of several unobserved $\Sigma_{c}/\Sigma_{b}$, $\Xi^{\prime}_{c}/\Xi^{\prime}_{b}$ and $\Omega_{c}/\Omega_{b}$ baryons. In the case of the $\Omega_c(3185)^{0}$ and $\Omega_c(3327)^{0}$ states, we determine $\Omega_{c}(3185)^{0}$ as $2S$ state and $\Omega_{c}(3327)^{0}$ as $1D$ state with $J^{P}=1/2^{+}$ and $J^{P}=3/2^{+}$, respectively. An overall good agreement of the obtained predictions with available experimental data are found.

Remarks on the $S$-wave masses of singly heavy mesons

Based on the study of the string model methods of singly heavy mesons and singly heavy baryons, we calculate the mass spectrum of $1S$-and $2S$-wave for both charm and bottom mesons$(D/D_{s}, B/B_{s})$. Experimentally, there are most masses spectra of $1S$-wave have been found, while the masses part of the $2S$-state is not determined. In this paper, we will use singly light quark or diquark model images and Regge trajectory models, combined with perturbation processing methods, to analyze and study the observed singly heavy mesons, further predict the unobserved mesons masses and their corresponding spin-parity quantum numbers.

Modeling the nonperturbative contributions to the complex heavy-quark potential

In this paper, we construct a simple model for the complex heavy quark potential which is defined through the Fourier transform of the static gluon propagator. Besides the hard thermal loop resummed contribution, the gluon propagator also includes a non-perturbative term induced by the dimension two gluon condensate. Within the framework of thermal field theory, the real and imaginary parts of the heavy quark potential are determined in a consistent way without resorting to any extra assumption as long as the exact form of the retarded/advanced gluon propagator is specified. The resulting potential model has the desired asymptotic behaviors and reproduces the data from lattice simulation reasonably well. By presenting a direct comparison with other complex potential models on the market, we find the one proposed in this work shows a significant improvement on the description of the lattice results, especially for the imaginary part of the potential, in a temperature region relevant to quarkonium studies.
