WorldSculpt: Generating Compositional Worlds from Grounded Videos

We study the problem of generating a compositional 3D representation of a cluttered scene containing hundreds of objects. The goal is to represent the scene as a collection of individual object meshes placed in a shared world frame, as required by downstream applications such as gaming, AR/VR, simulation, and robotics. This task is challenging in densely cluttered scenes, where objects heavily occlude one another and each view reveals only a fraction of their geometry. Geometry-based approaches typically reconstruct the scene as a single representation and leave incomplete geometry in occluded regions, while existing compositional methods with generative priors are largely limited to relatively simple scenes. We show that complex scenes with hundreds of objects can instead be generated compositionally by adapting a strong single-object 3D generative prior to multi-view observations. We instantiate this paradigm with Pixal3D, extending it with a multi-view conditioning pathway that grounds object generation in multiple posed observations. Although the model is finetuned entirely on single objects in canonical space, it generalizes to large scenes with severe occlusion without any scene-level training, demonstrating the feasibility and scalability of this paradigm. We further introduce UE-MeshyScene, a photorealistic benchmark of densely cluttered scenes with hundreds of objects, per-object annotations, and ground-truth meshes. Across single-object, controlled multi-object, and UE-MeshyScene evaluations, our method consistently outperforms prior approaches, with larger gains as scene complexity and occlusion increase. Finally, we demonstrate broader applicability by converting generated 3DGS worlds, such as Marble and HY-World 2.0, into compositional mesh scenes.

Reasmory: 3D Reconstruction as Explicit Memory for VLMs Spatial Reasoning

Vision-Language Models (VLMs) exhibit emerging spatial reasoning capabilities, yet they remain unreliable on tasks requiring precise spatial understanding, such as viewpoint reasoning, directional comparison, and distance estimation. In multi-view images and monocular videos, relevant spatial cues are often sparse and distributed across redundant observations, making them difficult to organize and exploit. Reconstruction-based Vision Foundation Models (VFMs) offer a natural way to aggregate such observations into explicit spatial memory, such as point clouds. However, simply exposing reconstruction models as free-form tools is brittle, VLMs may invoke tools incorrectly, skip required spatial transformations, or misuse intermediate results. We propose \textbf{Reasmory}, a framework that formulates spatial reasoning as structured program execution over reconstructed spatial memory. Reasmory constructs explicit 3D memory, augments it with semantically grounded 3D object instances, and introduces a lightweight Domain-Specific Language (DSL) that constrains how VLMs query objects and cameras, transform viewpoints, and render observations during reasoning. Generated programs are parsed and validated before execution, enabling more reliable interaction with spatial memory than unconstrained tool use. Experiments on multi-view image and video spatial reasoning benchmarks show consistent gains of 6--18\% over strong baselines, including GPT-5-mini and Gemini-3-flash, indicating that explicit 3D memory is most useful when accessed through constrained, validated operations rather than free-form tool calls.

Restage4D: Reanimating Deformable 3D Reconstruction from a Single Video

Creating deformable 3D content has gained increasing attention with the rise of text-to-image and image-to-video generative models. While these models provide rich semantic priors for appearance, they struggle to capture the physical realism and motion dynamics needed for authentic 4D scene synthesis. In contrast, real-world videos can provide physically grounded geometry and articulation cues that are difficult to hallucinate. One question is raised: \textit{Can we generate physically consistent 4D content by leveraging the motion priors of the real-world video}? In this work, we explore the task of reanimating deformable 3D scenes from a single video, using the original sequence as a supervisory signal to correct artifacts from synthetic motion. We introduce \textbf{Restage4D}, a geometry-preserving pipeline for video-conditioned 4D restaging. Our approach uses a video-rewinding training strategy to temporally bridge a real base video and a synthetic driving video via a shared motion representation. We further incorporate an occlusion-aware rigidity loss and a disocclusion backtracing mechanism to improve structural and geometry consistency under challenging motion. We validate Restage4D on DAVIS and PointOdyssey, demonstrating improved geometry consistency, motion quality, and 3D tracking performance. Our method not only preserves deformable structure under novel motion, but also automatically corrects errors introduced by generative models, revealing the potential of video prior in 4D restaging task. Source code and trained models will be released.

Affordance-Aware Object Insertion via Mask-Aware Dual Diffusion

As a common image editing operation, image composition involves integrating foreground objects into background scenes. In this paper, we expand the application of the concept of Affordance from human-centered image composition tasks to a more general object-scene composition framework, addressing the complex interplay between foreground objects and background scenes. Following the principle of Affordance, we define the affordance-aware object insertion task, which aims to seamlessly insert any object into any scene with various position prompts. To address the limited data issue and incorporate this task, we constructed the SAM-FB dataset, which contains over 3 million examples across more than 3,000 object categories. Furthermore, we propose the Mask-Aware Dual Diffusion (MADD) model, which utilizes a dual-stream architecture to simultaneously denoise the RGB image and the insertion mask. By explicitly modeling the insertion mask in the diffusion process, MADD effectively facilitates the notion of affordance. Extensive experimental results show that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods and exhibits strong generalization performance on in-the-wild images. $R^2$-Tuning: Efficient Image-to-Video Transfer Learning for Video Temporal Grounding

Video temporal grounding (VTG) is a fine-grained video understanding problem that aims to ground relevant clips in untrimmed videos given natural language queries. Most existing VTG models are built upon frame-wise final-layer CLIP features, aided by additional temporal backbones (e.g., SlowFast) with sophisticated temporal reasoning mechanisms. In this work, we claim that CLIP itself already shows great potential for fine-grained spatial-temporal modeling, as each layer offers distinct yet useful information under different granularity levels. Motivated by this, we propose Reversed Recurrent Tuning ($R^2$-Tuning), a parameter- and memory-efficient transfer learning framework for video temporal grounding. Our method learns a lightweight $R^2$ Block containing only 1.5% of the total parameters to perform progressive spatial-temporal modeling. Starting from the last layer of CLIP, $R^2$ Block recurrently aggregates spatial features from earlier layers, then refines temporal correlation conditioning on the given query, resulting in a coarse-to-fine scheme. $R^2$-Tuning achieves state-of-the-art performance across three VTG tasks (i.e., moment retrieval, highlight detection, and video summarization) on six public benchmarks (i.e., QVHighlights, Charades-STA, Ego4D-NLQ, TACoS, YouTube Highlights, and TVSum) even without the additional backbone, demonstrating the significance and effectiveness of the proposed scheme. RA-ICM: A Novel Independent Cascade Model Incorporating User Relationships and Attitudes

The rapid development of social networks has a wide range of social effects, which facilitates the study of social issues. Accurately forecasting the information propagation process within social networks is crucial for promptly understanding the event direction and effectively addressing social problems in a scientific manner. The relationships between non-adjacent users and the attitudes of users significantly influence the information propagation process within social networks. However, existing research has ignored these two elements, which poses challenges for accurately predicting the information propagation process. This limitation significantly hinders the study of emotional contagion and influence maximization in social networks. To address these issues, by considering the relationships between non-adjacent users and the influence of user attitudes, we propose a new information propagation model based on the independent cascade model. Experimental results obtained from six real Weibo datasets validate the effectiveness of the proposed model, which is reflected in increased prediction accuracy and reduced time complexity. Furthermore, the information dissemination trend in social networks predicted by the proposed model closely resembles the actual information propagation process, which demonstrates the superiority of the proposed model.
