Lagrange Multipliers in locally convex spaces

We give a general Lagrange multiplier rule for mathematical programming problems in a Hausdorff locally convex space. We consider infinitely many inequality and equality constraints. Our results gives in particular a generalisation of the result of J. Jahn in \cite{Ja}, replacing Fréchet-differentiability assumptions on the functions by the Gateaux-differentiability. Moreover, the closed convex cone with a nonempty interior in the constraints is replaced by a strictly general class of closed subsets introduced in the paper and called {\it ``admissible sets"}. Examples illustrating our results are given.

Infinite-horizon problems under periodicity constraint

We study so{ù}e infinite-horizon optimization problems on spaces of periodic functions for non periodic Lagrangians. The main strategy relies on the reduction to finite horizon thanks in the introduction of an avering operator. We then provide existence results and necessary optimality conditions in which the corresponding averaged Lagrangian appears.

Pontryagin Principles in Infinite Horizon in Presence of Asymptotical Constraints

We establish necessary conditions of optimality for discrete-time infinite-horizon optimal control in presence of constraints at infinity. These necessary conditions are in form of weak and strong Pontryagin principles. We use a functional analytic framework and multipliers rules in Banach (sequence) spaces. We establish new properties on Nemytskii operators in sequence spaces. We also provide sufficient conditions of optimality. MSC 2010: 49J21, 65K05, 39A99.
