Electromagnetic Waves in a Rotating Frame of Reference

We discuss the electromagnetic measurements of rotating observers and study the propagation of electromagnetic waves in a uniformly rotating frame of reference. The phenomenon of helicity-rotation coupling is elucidated and some of the observational consequences of the coupling of the spin of a particle with the rotation of a gravitational source are briefly examined.

Standard Clocks, Orbital Precession and the Cosmological Constant

We discuss the influence of the cosmological constant on the gravitomagnetic clock effect and the gravitational time delay of electromagnetic rays. Moreover, we consider the relative motion of a binary system to linear order in the cosmological constant $Λ$. The general expression for the effect of $Λ$ on pericenter precession is given for arbitrary orbital eccentricity.
