Three Texture Zeros in the Hermitian Dirac sector within Type-I Seesaw Mechanism

We present numerical benchmark solutions for Hermitian Dirac neutrino mass matrices with three texture zeros within the type-I seesaw mechanism. The analysis is to normal ordering (NO) and inverted (IO). The heavy Majorana mass matrix is assumed diagonal, while the Dirac mass matrix is taken Hermitian. Four viable textures in NO are shown to reproduce the neutrino oscillation observables within the $3σ$ ranges of the NuFIT global analysis, and three viable textures in IO.

One texture zero for Dirac neutrinos in a diagonal charged lepton basis

An analytic and numerical systematic study of the neutrino mass matrix with one texture zero is presented in a basis where the charged leptons are diagonal. Under the assumption that neutrinos are Dirac particles, the analysis is carried out in detail for the normal and inverted hierarchy mass spectrum. Our study is performed without any approximations, first analytically and then numerically, using current neutrino oscillation data. The analysis constrains the parameter space in such a way that, among the six possible one-texture-zero patterns, only four are favored in the normal hierarchy and, one in the inverted hierarchy, by current oscillation data at the $3 σ$ level. Phenomenological implications for the lepton CP-violating phase and neutrino masses are also explored.

Two Texture Zeros for Dirac Neutrinos in a Diagonal charged Lepton basis

A systematic study of the neutrino mass matrix $M_ν$ with two texture zeros in a basis where the charged leptons are diagonal, and under the assumption that neutrinos are Dirac particles, is carried through in detail. Our study is done without any approximation, first analytically and then numerically. Current neutrino oscillation data are used in our analysis. Phenomenological implications of $M_ν$ on the lepton CP violation and neutrino mass spectrum are explored.

Five Texture Zeros and CP violation for the SM Quark Mass Matrices

The phenomenology of the five independent sets of $3\times 3$ quark mass matrices with five texture zeros is carried through in full detail, including predictions for the CP violation asymmetries. Our study is done without any approximation, first analytical and then numerical.
