In this article the lack of equilibrium between matter and antimatter is elucidated. Heisenberg uncertainty principle is a crucial ingredient to understand this disproportion.
This paper reviews the Oppenheimer, Volkoff and Snyder's arguments about the formation of black holes from the collapse of Neutron Stars. It is found that such a collapse is inconsistent with microscopic causality and Heisenberg uncertainty principle.
This article rebuilds the parity conservation under the light of Heinsenberg's uncertainty principle and the equivalence among the four space-time coordinates. The lack of equilibrium between matter and antimatter is elucidated; neutrino mass is a logical corollary of this asymmetry. Based on this new concept of parity conservation the existence of black holes is questioned. It is also found that entropy could decrease in a close quantum system. CPT would be an exact symmetry if the full Poincare group were the symmetry group of nature. Therefore, CPT must be violated if nature obeys a larger symmetry group than that of the full Poincare group. Examples of CPT violation could be found in a quantum theory of gravity, and the supertheories.
This paper proves that a particle with mass different of zero cannot be its own antiparticle. Hence, particles such as pi-zero,eta-zero, and Z-zero must have their correspondent antiparticles.
This paper proposes that the elusive neutrino is a space-like unitary irreducible representation of the Poincare Group. Although its imaginary mass is not a physical observable, its square is. This amount is found experimentally to be negative. Therefore, the neutrino is a tachyon with a measurable property; the square of its mass. This paper does not resolve the problem of how the neutrino propagates in the space. Further studies are necessary to address this question.
This article proves that according to the principles of quantum mechanics the existence of elementary particles of negative mass is physically plausible. Heisenberg's uncertainty principle plays an important role in this demonstration. By reversing time, charge and mass are conjugated and the symmetry group is that of the Poincare with space-time reflections (full Poincare group). Particles that tunnel from the future time-like cone to the past time-like cone move backward in time with negative mass (and energy). These particles are interpreted as antiparticles of positive mass (and energy) that move forward in time. There is not a physical law that precludes two observers from seeing different mass signs of a particle, since the mass is not a Poincare invariant, but its square, p^2 = -m^2.
This article proves that elementary particles can violate the second postulate of the Special Theory of Relativity. According to Heisenberg's principle, superluminal particles are allowed in the theoretical framework of Quantum Mechanics. In this paper the tachyons, are identified with the unitary irreducible representations of the "full" Poincare group (Poincare group plus space-time reflections.) on the past time-like cone.
This paper discusses the existence of black holes from the foundations of quantum mechanics. It is found that quantum mechanics rule out a possible gravitational collapse.
