Algorithmic Identity Based on Metaparameters: A Path to Reliability, Auditability, and Traceability

The use of algorithms is increasing across various fields such as healthcare, justice, finance, and education. This growth has significantly accelerated with the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies based on Large Language Models (LLMs) since 2022. This expansion presents substantial challenges related to accountability, ethics, and transparency. This article explores the potential of the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to identify algorithms, aiming to enhance accountability, transparency, and reliability in their development and application, particularly in AI agents and multimodal LLMs. The use of DOIs facilitates tracking the origin of algorithms, enables audits, prevents biases, promotes research reproducibility, and strengthens ethical considerations. The discussion addresses the challenges and solutions associated with maintaining algorithms identified by DOI, their application in API security, and the proposal of a cryptographic authentication protocol.

A Summary Description of the A2RD Project

This paper describes the Autonomous Architecture Over Restricted Domains project. It begins with the description of the context upon which the project is focused, and in the sequence describes the project and implementation models. It finish by presenting the environment conceptual model, showing where stand the components, inputs and facilities required to interact among the intelligent agents of the various implementations in their respective and restricted, routing domains (Autonomous Systems) which together make the Internet work.

Blockchain to Improve Security, Knowledge and Collaboration Inter-Agent Communication over Restrict Domains of the Internet Infrastructure

This paper describes the deployment and implementation of a blockchain to improve the security, knowledge, intelligence and collaboration during the inter-agent communication processes in restrict domains of the Internet Infrastructure. It is a work that proposes the application of a blockchain, platform independent, on a particular model of agents, but that can be used in similar proposals, once the results on the specific model were satisfactory.

In-Person and Remote Participation Review at IETF: Collaborating Without Borders

The IETF has been acting as one of the main actors when discussing standardization of protocols and good practices on the Internet. Collaborating with the IETF community can be complex and distant for many researchers and industry members because of the financial aspect to travel to the meeting. However, it notes the collaboration between industry and academia is actively and progressively developing and refining standards within the IETF. One of the incentives for the increased participation in IETF meetings is because it is being transmitted in real time since 2015, allowing for voice and chat interaction of remote participants. Thus, in this paper, we have as objectives to give a brief vision about how to collaborate with the IETF and to analyze the importance of this new form of participation of the face-to-face meetings that has been growing in recent years.

Acquisition and use of knowledge over a restricted domain by intelligent agents

This short paper provides a description of an architecture to acquisition and use of knowledge by intelligent agents over a restricted domain of the Internet Infrastructure. The proposed architecture is added to an intelligent agent deployment model over a very useful server for Internet Autonomous System administrators. Such servers, which are heavily dependent on arbitrary and eventual updates of human beings, become unreliable. This is a position paper that proposes three research questions that are still in progress.
