Scaled Idempotence in Transformer Attention: Paired OV Geometry and Shared-Value Algebras

We identify a recurrent algebraic regularity in Transformer attention: a sparse subset of effective OV operators $T=OV^\top$ nearly closes under composition, $T^2\approx\alpha T$. Across six pretrained endpoints spanning 2.8B--235B parameters, 3.98--8.00% of heads reach squared closure alignment $\mathcal{P}\geq0.9$, while no matched within-layer O/V mismatch does. An exact principal-coordinate factorization, $T=Q_OKQ_V^\top$ and $T^2=Q_O(KDK)Q_V^\top$, separates within-support transport from read--write return geometry. Across all 7,304 heads in nine MHA/GQA models, scrambling only the orientation of $K$ while preserving singular values, norms, factor spans, and principal angles reduces median closure from 0.336 to $1.04\times10^{-4}$; trained orientation wins for 98.64% of heads and in every layer. Constructive searches show that high closure is feasible in every surveyed layer, but usually not attained. Retrospective trajectories in three independently trained lineages further separate broadly available capacity from the orientations attained by final strong heads. Under exact value sharing, headwise closure extends to a right-action algebra, $T_iT_j=\alpha_jT_i$. Seven-model experiments verify the approximate law and reveal distinct oblique projections with a shared value-defined kernel. These results characterize scaled idempotence as a sparse trained orientation within broadly available geometric capacity and show how value sharing extends a headwise relation into a local operator algebra.

Knowledge-Level Consistency Reinforcement Learning: Dual-Fact Alignment for Long-Form Factuality

Hallucination in large language models (LLMs) during long-form generation remains difficult to address under existing reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) frameworks, as their preference rewards often overlook the model's own knowledge boundaries. In this paper, we propose the $\textbf{K}$nowledge-$\textbf{L}$evel $\textbf{C}$onsistency Reinforcement Learning $\textbf{F}$ramework ($\textbf{KLCF}$), which re-examines this problem from a distribution alignment perspective. KLCF formalizes long-form factuality as a bidirectional distribution matching objective between the policy model's expressed knowledge distribution and the base model's parametric knowledge distribution: under the constraint that generation must not exceed the support set of the base knowledge, the objective maximizes coverage of high-probability facts, thereby jointly optimizing precision and recall. To achieve this, we design a Dual-Fact Alignment mechanism that approximates the recall term using a factual checklist constructed by sampling from the base model, and constrains hallucinations with a lightweight truthfulness reward model. Both components are jointly optimized and require no external retrieval throughout training. Experimental results demonstrate that KLCF consistently improves factuality metrics across multiple long-form benchmarks and model scales, effectively alleviating hallucination and over-conservatism while maintaining efficiency and scalability.

\textsc{Gen2Real}: Towards Demo-Free Dexterous Manipulation by Harnessing Generated Video

Dexterous manipulation remains a challenging robotics problem, largely due to the difficulty of collecting extensive human demonstrations for learning. In this paper, we introduce \textsc{Gen2Real}, which replaces costly human demos with one generated video and drives robot skill from it: it combines demonstration generation that leverages video generation with pose and depth estimation to yield hand-object trajectories, trajectory optimization that uses Physics-aware Interaction Optimization Model (PIOM) to impose physics consistency, and demonstration learning that retargets human motions to a robot hand and stabilizes control with an anchor-based residual Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) policy. Using only generated videos, the learned policy achieves a 77.3\% success rate on grasping tasks in simulation and demonstrates coherent executions on a real robot. We also conduct ablation studies to validate the contribution of each component and demonstrate the ability to directly specify tasks using natural language, highlighting the flexibility and robustness of \textsc{Gen2Real} in generalizing grasping skills from imagined videos to real-world execution.

Grasp What You Want: Embodied Dexterous Grasping System Driven by Your Voice

In recent years, as robotics has advanced, human-robot collaboration has gained increasing importance. However, current robots struggle to fully and accurately interpret human intentions from voice commands alone. Traditional gripper and suction systems often fail to interact naturally with humans, lack advanced manipulation capabilities, and are not adaptable to diverse tasks, especially in unstructured environments. This paper introduces the Embodied Dexterous Grasping System (EDGS), designed to tackle object grasping in cluttered environments for human-robot interaction. We propose a novel approach to semantic-object alignment using a Vision-Language Model (VLM) that fuses voice commands and visual information, significantly enhancing the alignment of multi-dimensional attributes of target objects in complex scenarios. Inspired by human hand-object interactions, we develop a robust, precise, and efficient grasping strategy, incorporating principles like the thumb-object axis, multi-finger wrapping, and fingertip interaction with an object's contact mechanics. We also design experiments to assess Referring Expression Representation Enrichment (RERE) in referring expression segmentation, demonstrating that our system accurately detects and matches referring expressions. Extensive experiments confirm that EDGS can effectively handle complex grasping tasks, achieving stability and high success rates, highlighting its potential for further development in the field of Embodied AI.
