Are GUI Agents Focused Enough? Automated Distraction via Semantic-level UI Element Injection

Existing red-teaming studies on GUI agents face two fundamental limitations: adversarial perturbations require white-box access unavailable in commercial deployments, while prompt injection is increasingly neutralized by stronger safety alignment. To study robustness under a more practical threat model, we propose Semantic-level UI Element Injection, a black-box red-teaming paradigm that overlays safety-aligned and harmless UI elements onto screenshots to misdirect the agent's visual grounding. Our method couples a modular Editor--Overlapper--Victim pipeline with iterative search that samples multiple candidate edits, keeps the best cumulative overlay, and adapts future prompt strategies based on previous failures. Experiments across 19 victim models spanning 8 model families show that strategic optimization substantially outperforms random injection (3.5-6.9x on the most robust victims) and transfers near-perfectly across architectures, confirming model-agnostic visual-semantic vulnerabilities. After the first successful attack, the victim still clicks the attacker-controlled icon in over 15\% of subsequent independent trials versus below 1% for random injection, establishing that strategically placed icons act as persistent attractors that causally redirect grounding rather than introducing incidental clutter.

AnchorSplat: Fast and Structure Consistent Detail Synthesis for Gaussian Splatting

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has emerged as a powerful representation for high-fidelity rendering. However, existing assets often suffer from quality bottlenecks such as missing details and texture noise. Prior attempts to enhance these assets via 2D image processing introduce multi-view inconsistencies and high computational costs. In this paper, we propose a novel 3D-native refinement paradigm named AnchorSplat. AnchorSplat is an end-to-end deep network operating directly on 3D structures, avoiding the expensive optimization overhead of traditional 3D-2D-3D pipelines. Crucially, AnchorSplat is a strictly source-free solution requiring no original multi-view images. Central to the proposed method is the Point Anchor Mechanism, which enforces geometric consistency via local offset constraints, mitigating ill-posed mapping and gradient confounding. Furthermore, AnchorSplat replaces iterative densification with a single-pass multiplication mechanism. To facilitate research, we construct 3DGS-SR, the first large-scale benchmark for this task. Experiments demonstrate state-of-the-art results on the 3DGS-SR dataset, with throughput up to $10^5$ times faster than optimization methods. Notably, AnchorSplat exhibits robust zero-shot generalization across diverse data distributions, including generative model outputs and real-world scans.

VlogReward: Learning Multi-Dimensional Evaluation for Vlog Editing

The rapid rise of vlogs as a personalized storytelling medium has created a demand for automated systems to evaluate and refine vlog editing plans. However, vlog assessment is highly subjective and remains challenging due to a lack of standardized criteria, dataset and benchmark, and effective reward models. To address these challenges, we define a comprehensive vlog evaluation framework guided by professional vlog creators and product managers, establishing a taxonomy of six key dimensions, i.e., Creativity, Consistency, Concept Design, Cinematography, Narration, and Pacing. Subsequently, we curate a large-scale dataset of 100k vlog edits and a dedicated benchmark, VRMBench, to evaluate the vlog rewarding capabilities of Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs). Finally, we present VlogReward, a robust vlog reward model that can provide both fine-grained multi-dimensional scores and actionable feedback for iterative refinement. Technically, we enhance the Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO) framework by introducing an adjustable inter-group comparison reward, which mitigates the "direction blindness" issue of standard GRPO and enables the model to better distinguish varied-quality edits. VlogReward achieves state-of-the-art results that significantly outperform existing MLLMs, including GPT-5 and Gemini-3-Pro. We hope that our study can help vlog creators and foster automated vlog evaluation and refinement systems.

NEXT: Multi-Grained Mixture of Experts via Text-Modulation for Multi-Modal Object Re-Identification

Multi-modal object Re-IDentification (ReID) aims to obtain complete identity features across heterogeneous modalities. However, most existing methods rely on implicit feature fusion modules, making it difficult to model fine-grained recognition patterns under various challenges in real world. Benefiting from the powerful Multi-modal Large Language Models (MLLMs), the object appearances are effectively translated into descriptive captions. In this paper, we propose a reliable caption generation pipeline based on attribute confidence, which significantly reduces the unknown recognition rate of MLLMs and improves the quality of generated text. Additionally, to model diverse identity patterns, we propose a novel ReID framework, named NEXT, the Multi-grained Mixture of Experts via Text-Modulation for Multi-modal Object Re-Identification. Specifically, we decouple the recognition problem into semantic and structural branches to separately capture fine-grained appearance features and coarsegrained structure features. For semantic recognition, we first propose a Text-Modulated Semantic Experts (TMSE), which randomly samples high-quality captions to modulate experts capturing semantic features and mining inter-modality complementary cues. Second, to recognize structure features, we propose a Context-Shared Structure Experts (CSSE), which focuses on the holistic object structure and maintains identity structural consistency via a soft routing mechanism. Finally, we propose a Multi-Grained Features Aggregation (MGFA), which adopts a unified fusion strategy to effectively integrate multi-grained expert features into the final identity representations. Extensive experiments on two public person datasets and three vehicle datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our method, showing that it significantly outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods.

Tuning Real-World Image Restoration at Inference: A Test-Time Scaling Paradigm for Flow Matching Models

Although diffusion-based real-world image restoration (Real-IR) has achieved remarkable progress, efficiently leveraging ultra-large-scale pre-trained text-to-image (T2I) models and fully exploiting their potential remain significant challenges. To address this issue, we propose ResFlow-Tuner, an image restoration framework based on the state-of-the-art flow matching model, FLUX.1-dev, which integrates unified multi-modal fusion (UMMF) with test-time scaling (TTS) to achieve unprecedented restoration performance. Our approach fully leverages the advantages of the Multi-Modal Diffusion Transformer (MM-DiT) architecture by encoding multi-modal conditions into a unified sequence that guides the synthesis of high-quality images. Furthermore, we introduce a training-free test-time scaling paradigm tailored for image restoration. During inference, this technique dynamically steers the denoising direction through feedback from a reward model (RM), thereby achieving significant performance gains with controllable computational overhead. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance across multiple standard benchmarks. This work not only validates the powerful capabilities of the flow matching model in low-level vision tasks but, more importantly, proposes a novel and efficient inference-time scaling paradigm suitable for large pre-trained models.

TT-DF: A Large-Scale Diffusion-Based Dataset and Benchmark for Human Body Forgery Detection

The emergence and popularity of facial deepfake methods spur the vigorous development of deepfake datasets and facial forgery detection, which to some extent alleviates the security concerns about facial-related artificial intelligence technologies. However, when it comes to human body forgery, there has been a persistent lack of datasets and detection methods, due to the later inception and complexity of human body generation methods. To mitigate this issue, we introduce TikTok-DeepFake (TT-DF), a novel large-scale diffusion-based dataset containing 6,120 forged videos with 1,378,857 synthetic frames, specifically tailored for body forgery detection. TT-DF offers a wide variety of forgery methods, involving multiple advanced human image animation models utilized for manipulation, two generative configurations based on the disentanglement of identity and pose information, as well as different compressed versions. The aim is to simulate any potential unseen forged data in the wild as comprehensively as possible, and we also furnish a benchmark on TT-DF. Additionally, we propose an adapted body forgery detection model, Temporal Optical Flow Network (TOF-Net), which exploits the spatiotemporal inconsistencies and optical flow distribution differences between natural data and forged data. Our experiments demonstrate that TOF-Net achieves favorable performance on TT-DF, outperforming current state-of-the-art extendable facial forgery detection models. Towards Robust Defense against Customization via Protective Perturbation Resistant to Diffusion-based Purification

Diffusion models like Stable Diffusion have become prominent in visual synthesis tasks due to their powerful customization capabilities, which also introduce significant security risks, including deepfakes and copyright infringement. In response, a class of methods known as protective perturbation emerged, which mitigates image misuse by injecting imperceptible adversarial noise. However, purification can remove protective perturbations, thereby exposing images again to the risk of malicious forgery. In this work, we formalize the anti-purification task, highlighting challenges that hinder existing approaches, and propose a simple diagnostic protective perturbation named AntiPure. AntiPure exposes vulnerabilities of purification within the "purification-customization" workflow, owing to two guidance mechanisms: 1) Patch-wise Frequency Guidance, which reduces the model's influence over high-frequency components in the purified image, and 2) Erroneous Timestep Guidance, which disrupts the model's denoising strategy across different timesteps. With additional guidance, AntiPure embeds imperceptible perturbations that persist under representative purification settings, achieving effective post-customization distortion. Experiments show that, as a stress test for purification, AntiPure achieves minimal perceptual discrepancy and maximal distortion, outperforming other protective perturbation methods within the purification-customization workflow.

HAD: Hybrid Architecture Distillation Outperforms Teacher in Genomic Sequence Modeling

Inspired by the great success of Masked Language Modeling (MLM) in the natural language domain, the paradigm of self-supervised pre-training and fine-tuning has also achieved remarkable progress in the field of DNA sequence modeling. However, previous methods often relied on massive pre-training data or large-scale base models with huge parameters, imposing a significant computational burden. To address this, many works attempted to use more compact models to achieve similar outcomes but still fell short by a considerable margin. In this work, we propose a Hybrid Architecture Distillation (HAD) approach, leveraging both distillation and reconstruction tasks for more efficient and effective pre-training. Specifically, we employ the NTv2-500M as the teacher model and devise a grouping masking strategy to align the feature embeddings of visible tokens while concurrently reconstructing the invisible tokens during MLM pre-training. To validate the effectiveness of our proposed method, we conducted comprehensive experiments on the Nucleotide Transformer Benchmark and Genomic Benchmark. Compared to models with similar parameters, our model achieved excellent performance. More surprisingly, it even surpassed the distillation ceiling-teacher model on some sub-tasks, which is more than 500 $\times$ larger. Lastly, we utilize t-SNE for more intuitive visualization, which shows that our model can gain a sophisticated understanding of the intrinsic representation pattern in genomic sequences.

Visual Watermarking in the Era of Diffusion Models: Advances and Challenges

As generative artificial intelligence technologies like Stable Diffusion advance, visual content becomes more vulnerable to misuse, raising concerns about copyright infringement. Visual watermarks serve as effective protection mechanisms, asserting ownership and deterring unauthorized use. Traditional deepfake detection methods often rely on passive techniques that struggle with sophisticated manipulations. In contrast, diffusion models enhance detection accuracy by allowing for the effective learning of features, enabling the embedding of imperceptible and robust watermarks. We analyze the strengths and challenges of watermark techniques related to diffusion models, focusing on their robustness and application in watermark generation. By exploring the integration of advanced diffusion models and watermarking security, we aim to advance the discourse on preserving watermark robustness against evolving forgery threats. It emphasizes the critical importance of developing innovative solutions to protect digital content and ensure the preservation of ownership rights in the era of generative AI.
