Magnetic dipole moment of the light tensor mesons in light cone QCD sum rules

The magnetic dipole moments of the light tensor mesons $f_2$, $a_2$ and strange $K_2^{\ast 0} (1430)$ tensor meson are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that the values of the magnetic dipole moment for the charged tensor particles are considerably different from zero. These values are very close to zero for the light neutral $f_2$ and $a_2$ tensor mesons, while it has a small nonzero value for the neutral strange $K_2^{\ast 0} (1430)$ tensor meson.

Analysis of the $B_q\to D_q(D_q^*) P$ and $B_q\to D_q(D_q^*) V$ decays within the factorization approach in QCD

Using the factorization approach and considering the contributions of the current-current, QCD penguin and electroweak penguin operators at the leading approximation, the decay amplitudes and decay widths of $B_q\to D_q(D_q^*) P$ and $B_q\to D_q(D_q^*) V$ transitions, where $q=u,d,s$ and P and V are pseudoscalar and vector mesons, are calculated in terms of the transition form factors of the $B_q\to D_{q}$ and $B_q\to D^{*}_{q}$. Having computed those form factors in three-point QCD sum rules, the branching fraction for these decays are also evaluated. A comparison of our results with the predictions of the perturbative QCD as well as the existing experimental data is presented.

Semileptonic $Λ_{b,c}$ to Nucleon Transitions in Full QCD at Light Cone

The tree level semileptonic $Λ_{b}\to plν$ and $Λ_{c}\to nlν$ transitions are investigated using the light cone QCD sum rules approach in full theory. The spin--1/2, $Λ_{Q}$ baryon with $Q=b$ or $c$, is considered by the most general form of its interpolating current. The time ordering product of the initial and transition currents is expanded in terms of the nucleon distribution amplitudes with different twists. Considering two sets of independent input parameters entering to the nucleon wave functions, namely, QCD sum rules and Lattice QCD parameters, the related form factors and their heavy quark effective theory limits are calculated and compared with the existing predictions of other approaches. It is shown that our results satisfy the heavy quark symmetry relations for lattice input parameters and b case exactly and the maximum violation is for charm case and QCD sum rules input parameters. The obtained form factors are used to compute the transition rates both in full theory and heavy quark effective theory. A comparison of the results on decay rate of $Λ_{b}\to plν$ with those predicted by other phenomenological methods or the same method in heavy quark effective theory with different interpolating current and distribution amplitudes of the $Λ_{b}$ is also presented.

Electric Quadrupole and Magnetic Octupole Moments of the Light Decuplet Baryons Within Light Cone QCD Sum Rules

The electric quadrupole and magnetic octupole moments of the light decuplet baryons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. The obtained non-vanishing values for the electric quadrupole and magnetic octupole moments of these baryons show nonspherical charge distribution. The sign of electric quadrupole moment is positive for $Ω^-$, $Ξ^{*-}$, $Σ^{*-}$ and negative for $Σ^{*+}$, which correspond to the prolate and oblate charge distributions, respectively. A comparison of the obtained results with the predictions of non-covariant quark model which shows a good consistency between two approaches is also presented. Comparison of the obtained results on the multipole moments of the decuplet baryons containing strange quark with those of $Δ$ baryons shows a large SU(3) flavor symmetry breaking.

On the Mass and Decay Constant of $K_2^*(1430)$ Tensor Meson

The mass and decay constant of the ground state strange tensor meson $K_2^*(1430)$ with $I(J^P)=1/2(2^+)$ is calculated using the QCD sum rules method. The results are consistent with the experimental data. It is found that SU(3) symmetry breaking effect constitutes about $20^0/_0$ of the decay constant.

Pseudoscalar--meson decuplet--baryon coupling constants in light cone QCD

Taking into account the $SU(3)_f$ breaking effects, the strong coupling constants of the $π$, $K$ and $η$ mesons with decuplet baryons are calculated within light cone QCD sum rules method. It is shown that all coupling constants, even in the case of $SU(3)_f$ breaking, are described in terms of only one universal function. It is shown that for $Ξ^{\ast 0} \to Ξ^{\ast 0} η$ transition violation of $SU(3)_f$ symmetry is very large and for other channels when $SU(3)_f$ symmetry is violated, its maximum value constitutes $10%\div15%$.

Investigation of the $D_{s1}$ structure via $B_c$ to $D_{s1} l^+l^-/ν\barν$ transitions in QCD

We investigate the structure of the $D_{s1}(2460,2536) (J^P=1^+)$ mesons via analyzing the semileptonic $B_{c}\to D_{s1}l^+l^-$, $l=τ, μ, e$ and $B_{c}\to D_{s1}ν\barν$ transitions in the framework of the three--point QCD sum rules. We consider the $D_{s1}$ meson in two ways, the pure $|c\bar{s}>$ state and then as a mixture of two $|^3P_1>$ and $|^1P_1>$ states. Such type rare transitions take place at loop level by electroweak penguin and weak box diagrams in the standard model via the flavor changing neutral current transition of $b \to s$. The relevant form factors are calculated taking into account the gluon condensate contributions. These form factors are numerically obtained for $|c\bar s>$ case and plotted in terms of the unknown mixing angle $θ_s$, when the $D_{s1}$ meson are considered as mixture of two $|^3P_1>$ and $|^1P_1>$ states. The obtained results for the form factors are used to evaluate the decay rates and branching ratios. Any future experimental measurement on these form factors as well as decay rates and branching fractions and their comparison with the obtained results in the present work can give considerable information about the structure of this meson and the mixing angle $θ_s$.

Tree Level Semileptonic $Σ_{b}$ to Nucleon Decay in Light Cone QCD Sum Rules

Using the most general form of the interpolating current of the heavy spin 1/2, $Σ_{b}$ baryon and distribution amplitudes of the nucleon, the transition form factors of the semileptonic $Σ_{b}\to Nlν$ decay are calculated in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules. It is obtained that the form factors satisfy the heavy quark effective theory relations. The obtained results for the related form factors are used to estimate the decay rate of this transition.

Semileptonic B_{c} to P-Wave Charmonia Transitions within QCD Sum Rules

The form factors of the semileptonic $B_c\to S(AV)\ellν$ $(\ell=τ, μ, e)$ transitions, where S and AV denote the scalar $X_{c0}$ and axial vector $(X_{c1}, h_{c})$ mesons, are calculated within the framework of the three-point QCD sum rules. The heavy quark effective theory limit of the form factors are also obtained and compared with the values of the original transition form factors. The results of form factors are used to estimate the total decay widths and branching ratios of these transitions. A comparison of our results on branching ratios with the predictions of other approaches is also presented.

Forward-backward Asymmetry and Branching Ratio of $B \rar K_1 \ell^+ \ell^-$ Transition in Supersymmetric Models

The mass eigen states $K_1(1270)$ and $K_1(1400)$ are mixture of the strange members of two axial-vector SU(3) octet, $^3P_1(K_1^A)$ and $^1P_1(K_1^B)$. Taking into account this mixture, the forward-backward asymmetry and branching ratio of $B \rar K_1(1270,1400) \ell^+ \ell^-$ transitions are studied in the framework of different supersymmetric models. It is found that the results have considerable deviation from the standard model predictions. Any measurement of these physical observables and their comparison with the results obtained in this paper can give useful information about the nature of interactions beyond the standard model.

Magnetic Dipole, Electric Quadrupole and Magnetic Octupole Moments of the $Δ$ Baryons in Light Cone QCD Sum Rules

Due to the very short life time of the $Δ$ baryons, a direct measurement on the electromagnetic moments of these systems is almost impossible in the experiment and can only be done indirectly. Although only for the magnetic dipole moments of $Δ^{++}$ and $Δ^{+}$ systems there are some experimental data, the theoretical, phenomenological and lattice calculations could play crucial role. In present work, the magnetic dipole ($μ_Δ$) , electric quadrupole ($Q_Δ$) and magnetic octupole ($O_Δ$) moments of these baryons are computed within the light cone QCD sum rules. The results are compared with the predictions of the other phenomenological approaches, lattice QCD and existing experimental data.

Semileptonic $D_{q}\to K_{1}\ell ν$ and nonleptonic $D\to K_1 π$ decays in three--point QCD sum rules and factorization approach

We analyze the semileptonic $D_{q}\to K_1 \ellν$ transition with $q=u, d, s$, in the framework of the three--point QCD sum rules and the nonleptonic $D\to K_1 π$ decay within the QCD factorization approach. We study $D_{q}$ to $K_1(1270)$ and $K_1(1400)$ transition form factors by separating the mixture of the $K_1(1270)$ and $K_1(1400)$ states. Using the transition form factors of the $D\to K_1 $, we analyze the nonleptonic $D\to K_1 π$ decay. We also present the decay amplitude and decay width of these decays in terms of the transition form factors. The branching ratios of these channel modes are also calculated at different values of the mixing angle $θ_{K_1}$ and compared with the existing experimental data for the nonleptonic case.
