Exact solution of Schrödinger equation with q-deformed quantum potentials using Nikiforov-Uvarov method

In this paper, we present the exact solution of one dimensional Schrödinger equation for Wood-Saxon plus Rosen-Morse plus symmetrical double well potential via Nikiforov-Uvarov mathematical method. The eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of this potential are obtained. The energy equations and the corresponding wave function for special cases of this potential are briefly discussed. The PT-symmetry and Hermiticity for this potential are also considered.

Approximate Spin and Pseudospin Solutions of the Dirac equation with Rosen-Morse Potential including a Coulomb Tensor Interaction

By applying the Pekeris-type approximation to deal with the (pseudo or) centrifugal term, the spin and pseudospin symmetry solutions of the Dirac equation for the Rosen-Morse potential including a Coulomb-like tensor potential with arbitrary spin-orbit coupling quantum number $κ$ are obtained by standard method. It has been shown from the numerical results that the degeneracies between spin and pseudospin state doublets are removed by the tensor interaction. Special case of this potential, that is, the spin and pseudospin solutions of the Dirac equation with the modified Pöschl-Teller potential including a tensor interaction is also considered. The results obtained in this case show that the tensor interaction removes the degeneracies between the members of doublets states in spin and pseudospin symmetries.

Solutions of the Dirac equation with spin and pseudospin symmetry for trigonometric Scarf potential in D-dimensions

Solutions of the Dirac equation with spin and pseudospin symmetry for the scalar and vector trigonometric scarf potential in $D$-dimensions within the framework of an approximation scheme to the centrifugal barrier are obtained. The energy spectral and the two-component spinor eigenfunctions are obtained. The bound state energy levels for various values of dimension $D$, $n$, $κ$ and the potential range parameter $α$ are also presented.

Spectroscopic Studies of Some Diatomic Molecules using Spectrum Generating Algebra Approach

For arbitrary values n and l quantum numbers, we present the solutions of the 3-dimensional Schrodinger wave equation with the pseudoharmonic potential via SU(1,1) Spectrum Generating Algebra (SGA) approach. The explicit bound state energies and eigenfunctions are obtained. The matrix elements r2 and r d/dr are obtained (in a closed form) directly from the creation and annihilation operators. In addition, the expectation values of r2 and p2 and the Heisenberg Uncertainty Products (HUP) for set of diatomic molecules (O2, I2, N2, H2, CO, NO, HCl, CH, LiH, ScH, TiH, VH, CrH, MnH, TiC, NiC, ScN, ScF, Ar2) for arbitrary values of n and l quantum numbers are obtained. The results obtained are in excellent agreement with the available results in the literature. It is also shown that the HUP is obeyed for all diatomic molecules considered.

Relativistic Treatment of the Spin-Zero Particles Subject to the q-Deformed Hyperbolic Modified Pöschl-Teller Potential

In this study, we solve the Klein-Gordon equation with equal scalar and vector q-deformed hyperbolic modified Pöschl-Teller potential. The explicit expressions of bound state spectra and the normalized eigenfunctions for s-wave bound states are obtained analytically. The energy equations and the corresponding wave functions for the special cases of the equally mixed q-deformed hyperbolic modified Pöschl-Teller potential for spinless particle are briefly discussed.

Bound state solutions of the Dirac-Rosen-Morse potential with spin and pseudospin symmetry

The energy spectra and the corresponding two- component spinor wavefunctions of the Dirac equation for the Rosen-Morse potential with spin and pseudospin symmetry are obtained. The $s-$wave ($κ= 0$ state) solutions for this problem are obtained by using the basic concept of the supersymmetric quantum mechanics approach and function analysis (standard approach) in the calculations. Under the spin symmetry and pseudospin symmetry, the energy equation and the corresponding two-component spinor wavefunctions for this potential and other special types of this potential are obtained. Extension of this result to $κ\neq 0$ state is suggested.

Realization of the spectrum generating algebra for the generalized Kratzer potentials

The dynamical symmetries of the Kratzer-type molecular potentials (generalized Kratzer molecular potentials) are studied by using the factorization method. The creation and annihilation (ladder) operators for the radial eigenfunctions satisfying quantum dynamical algebra $SU(1, 1)$ are established. Factorization method is a very simple method of calculating the matrix elements from these ladder operators. The matrix elements of different functions of $r$, $r\frac{d}{dr}$, their sum $Γ_{1}$ and difference $Γ_{2}$ are evaluated in a closed form. The exact bound state energy eigenvalues $E_{n, \ell}$ and matrix elements of $r$, $r\frac{d}{dr}$, their sum $Γ_{1}$ and difference $Γ_{2}$ are calculated for various values of $n$ and $\ell$ quantum numbers for $CO$ and $NO$ diatomic molecules for the two potentials. The results obtained are in very good agreement with those obtained by other methods.
