Coherent Dissociation of Relativistic N-12 Nuclei

The dissociation of relativistic $^{12}$N nuclei having a momentum of 2 GeV/c per nucleon and undergoing the most peripheral interactions in a track emulsion is studied. The picture of charged topology of product ensembles of relativistic fragments and special features of their angular distributions are presented.

Dissociation of C-10 Nuclei in a Track Nuclear Emulsion at an Energy of 1.2 GeV per Nucleon

The charge topology in the fragmentation of $^{10}$C nuclei in a track nuclear emulsion at an energy of 1.2 GeV per nucleon is studied. In the coherent dissociation of $^{10}$C nuclei, about 82% of events are associated with the channel $^{10}$C $\rightarrow$ 2$α+$ 2\emph{p}. The angular distributions and correlations of product fragments are presented for this channel. It is found that among $^{10}$C $\rightarrow$ 2$α+$ 2\emph{p} events, about 30% are associated with the process in which dissociation through the ground state of the unstable $^9$Be$_{g.s.}$ nucleus is followed by $^8$Be$_{g.s.} +$ \emph{p} decays.

The comparative analysis of channels of three α-particles and ^12C nuclei production in ^16Op-collisions at 3.25 A GeV/c

New experimental data of the comparative analysis of channels of the production of three α-particles and ^12C nuclei in ^16Op-collisions at 3.25 A GeV/c are submitted. It is shown, that the channel with the three α-particles production is realised in a half part of events as a result of decay of an excited ^12C^* nucleus, and the rest part of the channel - by the knocking-out of one α-cluster from the weakly bound residual nucleus, containing three α-clusters. The modelling of the decay of an excited system on the model of isotropic phase space is justified at small values of excitation energy and, nevertheless, it allows to take the valuable additional information about the dynamics of investigated process from experimental data.

Fragmentation of relativistic oxygen nuclei in interactions with a proton

The data on investigation of inelastic interactions of $16^O$ nuclei with a proton at 3.25 A GeV/c momentum by the bubble chamber method are presented. The separate characteristics as fragments isotopic composition and as topo-logical cross sections of fragmentation channels are given. The processes of light fragments formation and breakup of $16^O$ nucleus on multicharge fragments have been investigated. The comparison of experimental data with the calculations by statistical multifragmentation model was conducted.
