Random Matrices and Quantum Hamilton-Jacobi Method

In this paper, we start with the quantum Hamilton-Jacobi approach and show that the underlying complex pole evolution of the Schrödinger equation is described by the quantum action in terms of a random matrix. The wave function is given by the random matrix probability distribution function. In literature this is known as the famous Cole-Hopf Transformation.

Statistical Mechanics of DNA Mutation using SUSY Quantum Mechanics

In this paper, we investigate DNA denaturation through Statistical Mechanics and show that exceptional polynomials lead to DNA mutation. We consider a DNA model with two chains connected by Morse potential representing the H bonds, and then we calculate the partition function for this model. The partition function is converted into a Schrödinger like an equation. We exploit the techniques of SUSY quantum mechanics to model DNA mutation. We also compute the thermal denaturation of DNA for each mutated state.

Negative refractive index, Perfect Lens and Cesàro convergence

In this letter, we show that the restoration of evanescent wave in perfect lens obeys a new kind of convergence known as Cesaro convergence. Cesaro convergence allows us to extend the domain of convergence that is analytically continuing to the complex plane in terms of Riemann zeta function. Therefore, from the properties of Riemann zeta function we show that it is not possible to restore the evanescent wave for all the values of $r_z'$, [here $r_z'$ is complex]. The special value, that is, $r_z'$ = 1=2+ib refers to the non-existence of evanescent wave, is the physicists proof of Riemann Hypothesis.

Metamaterials and Cesàro convergence

In this paper, we show that the linear dielectrics and magnetic materials in matter obey a special kind of mathematical property known as Cesàro convergence. Then, we also show that the analytical continuation of the linear permittivity \& permeability to a complex plane in terms of Riemann zeta function. The metamaterials are fabricated materials with a negative refractive index. These materials, in turn, depend on permittivity \& permeability of the linear dielectrics and magnetic materials. Therefore, the Cesàro convergence property of the linear dielectrics and magnetic materials may be used to fabricate the metamaterials.

Quantum Hydrodynamics: Kirchhoff Equations

In this paper, we show that the Kirchhoff equations are derived from the Schrödinger equation by assuming the wave function to be a polynomial like solution. These Kirchhoff equations describe the evolution of $n$ point vortices in hydrodynamics. In two dimensions, Kirchhoff equations are used to demonstrate the solution to single particle Laughlin wave function as complex Hermite polynomials. We also show that the equation for optical vortices, a two dimentional system, is derived from Kirchhoff equation by using paraxial wave approximation. These Kirchhoff equations satisfy a Poisson bracket relationship in phase space which is identical to the Heisenberg uncertainty relationship. Therefore, we conclude that being classical equations, the Kirchhoff equations, describe both a particle and a wave nature of single particle quantum mechanics in two dimensions.

Separability Criterion for Multi-Mode Gaussian States

In this paper, we give Separability criterion for the multi-mode Gaussian states using the Marchenko-Pastur theorem. We show that the Marchenko-Pastur theorem from random matrix theory as necessary and sufficient condition for separability of multimode Gaussian states.

A Random Matrix Approach to Quantum Mechanics

We show that the quantum Hamilton Jacobi approach to a class of quantum mechanical bound state problems and the Gaussian orthogonal ensemble of random matrix theory are equivalent. The Berry connection for both problems is identical to their quantum momentum function. The potential that appears in the joint probability distribution function in the random matrix theory is a super potential allowing us to apply it to exceptional polynomials.

Quantum entanglement in coupled lossy waveguides using SU(2) and SU(1,1) Thermo-algebras

In this paper, the master equation for the coupled lossy waveguides is solved using the thermofield dynamics(TFD) formalism. This formalism allows the use of the underlying symmetry algebras SU(2) and SU(1,1), associated with the Hamiltonian of the coupled lossy waveguides,to compute entanglement and decoherence as a function of time for various input states such as NOON states and thermal states.

Random Matrix theory approach to Quantum mechanics

In this paper, we give random matrix theory approach to the quantum mechanics using the quantum Hamilton-Jacobi formalism. We show that the bound state problems in quantum mechanics are analogous to solving Gaussian unitary ensemble of random matrix theory. This study helps in identify the potential appear in the joint probability distribution function in the random matrix theory as a super potential. This approach allows to extend the random matrix theory to the newly discovered exceptional polynomials.

Entanglement in two site Bose-Hubbard model

In this paper, we study the decoherence and entanglement properties for the two site Bose-Hubbard model in the presence of a non-linear damping. We apply the techniques of thermo field dynamics and then use Hartree-Fock approximation to solve the corresponding master equation. The expectation values of the approximated field operators appearing in the solution of master equation, are computed self-consistently. We solve this master equation for a small time $t$ so that we get the analytical solution, thereby we compute the decoherence and entanglement properties of the solution of the two-mode bosonic system.

The Kerr medium as an {\sf SU(2)} system

The Kerr medium in the presence of damping and associated with SU(1,1) symmetry, is solved using the techniques of Thermo field Dynamics (TFD).These TFD techniques, well studied earlier (Chaturvedi and Srinivasan, 1991), help us to exactly solve the Kerr medium as a spin damped system associated with SU(2) symmetry. Using TFD, the association with SU(2) is exploited to express the dynamics of the system as a Schrodinger-like equation, whose solution is obtained using the appropriate disentanglement theorem. These considerations are extended to a system with multi-mode coupled nonlinear oscillators."

Exceptional Polynomials and SUSY Quantum Mechanics

We show that the existence of exceptional polynomials leads to the presence of non-trivial supersymmetry. The existence of these polynomials reveals several distinct isospectral potentials for the Schrödinger equation. All Schrödinger equations having Laguerre and Jacobi polynomials as their solutions, have non-trivial supersymmetric partners with corresponding exceptional polynomials as solutions.

Aspects of coherent states of nonlinear algebras

Various aspects of coherent states of nonlinear $su(2)$ and $su(1,1)$ algebras are studied. It is shown that the nonlinear $su(1,1)$ Barut-Girardello and Perelomov coherent states are related by a Laplace transform. We then concentrate on the derivation and analysis of the statistical and geometrical properties of these states. The Berry's phase for the nonlinear coherent states is also derived.

Squeezed States and Affleck Dine Baryogenesis

Quantum fluctuations in the post inflationary Affleck-Dine baryogenesis model are studied. The squeezed states formalism is used to give evolution equations for the particle and anti-particle modes in the early universe. The role of expansion and parametric amplification of the quantum fluctuations on the baryon asymmetry produced is investigated.

Baryon Asymmetry, Inflation and Squeezed States

We use the general formalism of squeezed rotated states to calculate baryon asymmetry in the wake of inflation through parametric amplification. We base our analysis on a B and CP violating Lagrangian in an isotropically expanding universe. The B and CP violating terms originate from the coupling of complex fields with non-zero baryon number to a complex background inflaton field. We show that a differential amplification of particle and anti-particle modes gives rise to baryon asymmetry.

Pions emerging from an Arbitrarily Disoriented Chiral Condensate

We model the evolution of the disoriented chiral condensate formed through both a sudden quench and through a phase transition with a metastable state of arbitrary disorientation . We show that the total multiplicity distributions of charged and neutral pions functions are dramatic characteristic signals for the DCC and are related directly to the way in which the DCC forms.
