Exact inequalities and optimal recovery by inaccurate information

The paper considers a multidimensional problem of optimal recovery of an operator whose action is represented by multiplying the original function by a weight function of a special type, based on inaccurately specified information about the values of operators of a similar type. An exact inequality for the norms of such operators is obtained. The problem under consideration is a generalization of the problem of optimal recovery of a derivative based on other inaccurately specified derivatives in the space $\mathbb R^d$ and the problem of an exact inequality, which is an analogue of the Hardy-Littlewood-Polya inequality.

Optimal recovery of linear operators from information of random functions

The paper concerns problems of the recovery of linear operators defined on sets of functions from information of these functions given with stochastic errors. The constructed optimal recovery methods, in general, do not use all the available information. As a consequence, optimal methods are obtained for recovering derivatives of functions from Sobolev classes by the information of their Fourier transforms given with stochastic errors. A similar problem is considered for solutions of the heat equation.

Optimal recovery and generalized Carlson inequality for weights with symmetry properties

The paper concerns problems of the recovery of operators from noisy information in weighted $L_q$-spaces with homogeneous weights. A number of general theorems are proved and applied to finding exact constants in multidimensional Carlson type inequalities with several weights and problems of the recovery of differential operators from a noisy Fourier transform. In particular, optimal methods are obtained for the recovery of powers of generalized Laplace operators from a noisy Fourier transform in the $L_p$-metric.
