The branching fraction measurements of $J/\psi$ decay into $\rho \eta$ and $\phi \eta$ final states

We present measurements of the branching fractions for the $J/\psi$ meson decays into the $\rho\eta$ and $\phi\eta$ final states, based on data collected with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M collider. The data set consisted of 4.93 million $J/\psi$ events. The resulting branching fractions are: - $\mathcal{B}(J/\psi \to \rho\eta) = (2.04 \pm 0.58 \pm 0.39)\times 10^{-4}$, - $\mathcal{B}(J/\psi \to \phi\eta) = (7.82 \pm 1.17 \pm 0.58) \times 10^{-4}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second one is systematic. In the study of the $\rho\eta$ decay, the dynamics of $J/\psi\to\pi^+\pi^-\eta$ is analyzed. The hints from contributions of $\rho(1450)\eta$ and $a^{\pm}_2\pi^{\mp}$ intermediate states are observed. Additional measured branching fractions in the model that includes $\rho(1450)\eta$ and $a^{\pm}_2\pi^{\mp}$ are: - $\mathcal{B}(J/\psi \to \pi^+\pi^-\eta) = (4.73 \pm 0.49 \pm 1.17)\times10^{-4}$, - $\mathcal{B}(J/\psi \to (a_2^+\pi^- + a_2^- \pi^+)) = (1.05\pm 0.37 \pm 0.34)\times 10^{-3}$, - $\mathcal{B}(J/\psi \to \rho(1450)\eta \to \pi^+\pi^-\eta) < 1.51 \times 10^{-4}$, at a confidence level of 90\%. All results are consistent with previous studies.

New measurement of D0 and D+ meson masses with the KEDR detector

Using the 4.9 pb$^{-1}$ statistics collected at the peak of the $\psi(3770)$ resonance with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M electron-positron collider, we measured the masses of the neutral and charged D mesons: $M_{D^0} = 1865.100 \pm 0.210 (stat) \pm 0.046 (syst) MeV,$ and $M_{D^+} = 1869.560 \pm 0.288 (stat) \pm 0.109 (syst) MeV$.

Measurement of the ratio of the leptonic widths $Γ_{ee}/Γ_{μμ}$ for the $J/ψ$ meson

The ratio of the electron and muon widths of the $J/ψ$ meson has been measured using direct $J/ψ$ decays in the KEDR experiment at the VEPP-4M electron-positron collider. The result $Γ_{ee}(J/ψ)/Γ_{μμ}(J/ψ)=1.0022\pm0.0044\pm0.0048\ (0.65\%)$ is in good agreement with the lepton universality. The experience collected during this analysis will be used for a $J/ψ$ lepton width determination with up to 1% accuracy.

Parameters of charmonium states from KEDR

We report results of experiments performed with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M $e^+e^-$ collider. They include final results for the mass and other parameters of the $J/ψ$, $ψ(2S)$ and $ψ(3770)$ and $J/ψ\toγη_c$ branching fraction determination.

Measurement of Γ_{ee}(J/ψ)*Br(J/ψ->e^+e^-) and Γ_{ee}(J/ψ)*Br(J/ψ->μ^+μ^-)

The products of the electron width of the J/ψmeson and the branching fraction of its decays to the lepton pairs were measured using data from the KEDR experiment at the VEPP-4M electron-positron collider. The results are Γ_{ee}(J/ψ)*Br(J/ψ->e^+e^-)=(0.3323\pm0.0064\pm0.0048) keV, Γ_{ee}(J/ψ)*Br(J/ψ->μ^+μ^-)=(0.3318\pm0.0052\pm0.0063) keV. Their combinations Γ_{ee}\times(Γ_{ee}+Γ_{μμ})/Γ=(0.6641\pm0.0082\pm0.0100) keV, Γ_{ee}/Γ_{μμ}=1.002\pm0.021\pm0.013 can be used to improve theaccuracy of the leptonic and full widths and test leptonic universality. Assuming eμuniversality and using the world average value of the lepton branching fraction, we also determine the leptonic Γ_{ll}=5.59\pm0.12 keV and total Γ=94.1\pm2.7 keV widths of the J/ψmeson.

New precision measurement of the $J/ψ$- and $ψ'$ -meson masses

A new high precision measurement of the $J/ψ$- and $ψ'$-meson masses has been performed at the VEPP-4M collider using the KEDR detector. The resonant depolarization method has been employed for the absolute calibration of the beam energy. The following mass values have been obtained: $M_{J/ψ} = 3096.917 \pm 0.010 \pm 0.007$ MeV, $M_{ψ'} = 3686.111 \pm 0.025 \pm 0.009$ MeV. The relative measurement accuracy has reached $4. 10^{-6}$ for $J/ψ$ and $7. 10^{-6}$ for $ψ'$, approximately 3 times better than in the previous precise experiments.
