In this paper, we study the existence of symphonic maps on compact or complet non-compact Riemannian manifold into Riemannian manifolds admitting a conformal vector field or a non-trivial Ricci solitons.
This note introduces an extension to the definition of symphonic maps, denoted as $\varphi:(M,g)\longrightarrow(N,h)$, by exploring variations in the bi-energy functional associated with the pullback metric $\varphi^*h$ between two Riemannian manifolds.
In this note, we find a necessary condition on odd-dimensional Riemannian manifolds under which both of Sasakian structure and the generalised Ricci soliton equation are satisfied, and we give some examples.
