EviRCOD: Evidence-Guided Probabilistic Decoding for Referring Camouflaged Object Detection

Referring Camouflaged Object Detection (Ref-COD) focuses on segmenting specific camouflaged targets in a query image using category-aligned references. Despite recent advances, existing methods struggle with reference-target semantic alignment, explicit uncertainty modeling, and robust boundary preservation. To address these issues, we propose EviRCOD, an integrated framework consisting of three core components: (1) a Reference-Guided Deformable Encoder (RGDE) that employs hierarchical reference-driven modulation and multi-scale deformable aggregation to inject semantic priors and align cross-scale representations; (2) an Uncertainty-Aware Evidential Decoder (UAED) that incorporates Dirichlet evidence estimation into hierarchical decoding to model uncertainty and propagate confidence across scales; and (3) a Boundary-Aware Refinement Module (BARM) that selectively enhances ambiguous boundaries by exploiting low-level edge cues and prediction confidence. Experiments on the Ref-COD benchmark demonstrate that EviRCOD achieves state-of-the-art detection performance while providing well-calibrated uncertainty estimates. Remarks on Brauer-Manin obstruction for Weil restrictions

Given a finite extension $K/k$ of number fields and a smooth quasi-projective variety $X$ over $K$. If the abelianized fundamental group of $X$ is trivial, we prove that there is a natural identification between Brauer-Manin sets of $X$ and its Weil restriction $R_{K/k}X$. If $X$ is projective and $Pic(X\times_{K}\overline{k})$ is a torsion-free abelian group, we prove that there is a natural identification between algebraic Brauer-Manin sets of $X$ and $R_{K/k}X$.

Wavelength-dependent photo-creep in halide perovskite single crystals

Halide perovskites are promising optoelectronic materials, but their time-dependent permanent deformation under illumination (i.e., photo-creep) is poorly understood, limiting their mechanical stability. Here we report wavelength-dependent photo-creep phenomena in CsPbBr3 and FAPbBr3 single crystals, studied by constant-load nanoindentation under controlled light with various wavelengths. Compared with creep in dark, continuous green light (near-bandgap) suppresses creep by 19% in CsPbBr3 and 10% in FAPbBr3, whereas violet (far above-bandgap) light enhances creep by 16% in CsPbBr3 and 8% in FAPbBr3. In contrast, when light is onset during creep, blue light enhances creep most prominently, whereas green light exhibits minimal influence. Such photo-creep behavior in halide perovskites are distinct with photo-plasticity phenomenon in conventional semiconductors. By combining the photoluminescence and photocurrent measurements, we unveil that ion migration promotes dislocation climb and creep, while carrier trapping suppresses dislocation glide and related creep in halide perovskites. Such competition between carrier trapping and ion migration tuned by wavelength governs the photo-creep response. Our findings uncover a photomechanical effect in halide perovskites and highlight how coupled carrier and ion dynamics under illumination affect their device reliability.

Exchange Frustration and Topological Magnetism in Electrostatically Doped SrRuO3

Magnetism in transition-metal systems emerges from exchange interactions that depend sensitively on carrier density. Yet leveraging this sensitivity to deliberately engineer exchange frustration and associated topological spin textures remains largely unexplored. Here, combining first-principles calculations with atomistic Monte Carlo simulations, we demonstrate that ferroelectric polarization enables electrostatic control of exchange frustration in the itinerant ferromagnet SrRuO3. We show that electrostatic hole doping renormalizes competing exchange interactions, driving SrRuO3 away from its bulk ferromagnetic ground state toward frustrated regimes, whereas electron doping largely preserves ferromagnetism. At BaTiO3/SrRuO3 interfaces, polarization-induced charge depletion modulates layer dependent exchange couplings, enhancing competition among J1, J2 and J3. The resulting exchange frustration stabilizes a sequence of magnetic phases as a function of thickness and applied magnetic field, including stripe and spiral states, topological meron and bimeron textures, and diverse skyrmionic objects. A minimal spin model identifies exchange frustration as the primary control parameter governing these crossovers, with magnetic anisotropy, Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction, and external field selecting the emergent topology. Our results establish electrostatic doping as a route to engineer frustrated and topological magnetism in itinerant oxide metals.

A Differentiable Physical Framework for Goal-Driven Spin-State Engineering in Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy

Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) offers a unique non-invasive window into metabolic processes, yet its potential remains strictly constrained by severe spectral congestion and intrinsic insensitivity. Traditional pulse sequence design, tethered to human intuition, predominantly targets simple quantum states, thereby overlooking the vast majority of the exponentially scaling operator space which consists of complex spin superpositions. Here, we introduce a spectrum-driven, end-to-end differentiable physical framework that transcends these heuristic limitations. By integrating physical laws with automatic differentiation algorithm, our approach directly navigates the high-dimensional spin dynamics space, bypassing the intractable inverse problem of state preparation. This enables the discovery of non-intuitive, complex mixed states that simultaneously satisfy the dual objectives of selective excitation and interferometric signal enhancement. We validate this paradigm by achieving the robust separation of Glutamate and Glutamine, which is a longstanding neuroimaging challenge, in the human brain at 3T, demonstrating spectral fidelity superior to conventional methods. By unlocking the "dark" informational content of nuclear spin ensembles, our work establishes a generalizable paradigm for goal-driven quantum state engineering in magnetic resonance and beyond.

A Real-Time System for Scheduling and Managing UAV Delivery in Urban Areas

As urban logistics demand continues to grow, UAV delivery has become a key solution to improve delivery efficiency, reduce traffic congestion, and lower logistics costs. However, to fully leverage the potential of UAV delivery networks, efficient swarm scheduling and management are crucial. In this paper, we propose a real-time scheduling and management system based on the ``Airport-Unloading Station" model, aiming to bridge the gap between high-level scheduling algorithms and low-level execution systems. This system, acting as middleware, accurately translates the requirements from the scheduling layer into specific execution instructions, ensuring that the scheduling algorithms perform effectively in real-world environments. Additionally, we implement three collaborative scheduling schemes involving autonomous ground vehicles (AGVs), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and ground staff to further optimize overall delivery efficiency. Through extensive experiments, this study demonstrates the rationality and feasibility of the proposed management system, providing practical solution for the commercial application of UAVs delivery in urban. Monolithic integration of diverse crystalline thin films on diamond for near-junction thermal management

The pursuit of extreme miniaturization and high power in 6G RF front-ends has cast thermal dissipation as the central challenge. Here, we have demonstrated the monolithic integration of functionally distinct single-crystal thin films, including \b{eta}-Ga2O3, Si, GaN, and LiTaO3, onto a single diamond substrate using a multi-step transfer printing technique. Focusing on the critical \b{eta}-Ga2O3/diamond interface, we achieve an exceptional interfacial thermal conductance (ITC) of 149 MW m-2 K-1 through ultra-high vacuum (UHV) annealing, creating an atomically sharp interface featuring covalent bonding. Vibrational electron energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS) analysis combining with molecular dynamics (MD) simulations reveal that distinctive interfacial phonon modes at the \b{eta}-Ga2O3/diamond heterointerface dominate ultrahigh ITC. We experimentally demonstrate that by improving the ITC, the thermal resistance (Rth) of a diamond-based \b{eta}-Ga2O3 MOSFET is driven to a record-low value of 1.58 K mm W-1, underscoring the critical role of interface engineering in near-junction thermal management for diamond-integrated devices. This work demonstrates a scalable, diamond-based monolithic integration platform designed to solve the near-junction thermal challenges in high-power RF front-ends.

CyberSleuth: Autonomous Blue-Team LLM Agent for Web Attack Forensics

Post-mortem analysis of compromised systems is a key aspect of cyber forensics, today a mostly manual, slow, and error-prone task. Agentic AI, i.e., LLM-powered agents, is a promising avenue for automation. However, applying such agents to cybersecurity remains largely unexplored and difficult, as this domain demands long-term reasoning, contextual memory, and consistent evidence correlation - capabilities that current LLM agents struggle to master. In this paper, we present the first systematic study of LLM agents to automate post-mortem investigation. As a first scenario, we consider realistic attacks in which remote attackers try to abuse online services using well-known CVEs (30 controlled cases). The agent receives as input the network traces of the attack and extracts forensic evidence. We compare three AI agent architectures, six LLM backends, and assess their ability to i) identify compromised services, ii) map exploits to exact CVEs, and iii) prepare thorough reports. Our best-performing system, CyberSleuth, achieves 80% accuracy on 2025 incidents, producing complete, coherent, and practically useful reports (judged by a panel of 25 experts). We next illustrate how readily CyberSleuth adapts to face the analysis of infected machine traffic, showing that the effective AI agent design can transfer across forensic tasks. Our findings show that (i) multi-agent specialisation is key to sustained reasoning; (ii) simple orchestration outperforms nested hierarchical architectures; and (iii) the CyberSleuth design generalises across different forensic tasks.

Nature of granular drag in microgravity

The influence of gravity on the drag force acting on a projectile impacting granular media is investigated experimentally via embedded inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor and numerically through discrete element method (DEM) simulations. As gravity approaches zero, inertial drag dominates, yielding qualitatively different scaling laws and cavity dynamics. Analogous to fluid dynamics, we define a dimensionless granular drag coefficient $C_{\rm gd}$, which is found to stay largely at a constant $\sim 1.2$ in microgravity while an additional term inversely proportional to impact velocity arises in the presence of gravity. The constant term can be understood from momentum transfer along the penetration direction while the additional term suggests the influence of internal stress built-up due to gravity. Similar discrepancy is also found for the initial peak of the drag force. This analogy provides novel insights into the nature of granular drag in microgravity and sheds light on future space missions.

Exploiting Dependency and Parallelism: Real-Time Scheduling and Analysis for GPU Tasks

With the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence, the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) has become increasingly essential across a growing number of safety-critical application domains. Applying a GPU is indispensable for parallel computing; however, the complex data dependencies and resource contention across kernels within a GPU task may unpredictably delay its execution time. To address these problems, this paper presents a scheduling and analysis method for Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG)-structured GPU tasks. Given a DAG representation, the proposed scheduling scales the kernel-level parallelism and establishes inter-kernel dependencies to provide a reduced and predictable DAG response time. The corresponding timing analysis yields a safe yet nonpessimistic makespan bound without any assumption on kernel priorities. The proposed method is implemented using the standard CUDA API, requiring no additional software or hardware support. Experimental results under synthetic and real-world benchmarks demonstrate that the proposed approach effectively reduces the worst-case makespan and measured task execution time compared to the existing methods up to 32.8% and 21.3%, respectively.

UniDWM: Towards a Unified Driving World Model via Multifaceted Representation Learning

Achieving reliable and efficient planning in complex driving environments requires a model that can reason over the scene's geometry, appearance, and dynamics. We present UniDWM, a unified driving world model that advances autonomous driving through multifaceted representation learning. UniDWM constructs a structure- and dynamic-aware latent world representation that serves as a physically grounded state space, enabling consistent reasoning across perception, prediction, and planning. Specifically, a joint reconstruction pathway learns to recover the scene's structure, including geometry and visual texture, while a collaborative generation framework leverages a conditional diffusion transformer to forecast future world evolution within the latent space. Furthermore, we show that our UniDWM can be deemed as a variation of VAE, which provides theoretical guidance for the multifaceted representation learning. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of UniDWM in trajectory planning, 4D reconstruction and generation, highlighting the potential of multifaceted world representations as a foundation for unified driving intelligence. The code will be publicly available at https://github.com/Say2L/UniDWM.

From Edge to Edge: A Flow-Inspired Scheduling Planner for Multi-Robot Systems

Trajectory planning is crucial in multi-robot systems, particularly in environments with numerous obstacles. While extensive research has been conducted in this field, the challenge of coordinating multiple robots to flow collectively from one side of the map to the other-such as in crossing missions through obstacle-rich spaces-has received limited attention. This paper focuses on this directional traversal scenario by introducing a real-time scheduling scheme that enables multi-robot systems to move from edge to edge, emulating the smooth and efficient flow of water. Inspired by network flow optimization, our scheme decomposes the environment into a flow-based network structure, enabling the efficient allocation of robots to paths based on real-time congestion levels. The proposed scheduling planner operates on top of existing collision avoidance algorithms, aiming to minimize overall traversal time by balancing detours and waiting times. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in achieving fast and coordinated traversal. Furthermore, real-world flight tests with ten drones validate its practical feasibility. This work contributes a flow-inspired, real-time scheduling planner tailored for directional multi-robot traversal in complex, obstacle-rich environments. E2PL: Effective and Efficient Prompt Learning for Incomplete Multi-view Multi-Label Class Incremental Learning

Multi-view multi-label classification (MvMLC) is indispensable for modern web applications aggregating information from diverse sources. However, real-world web-scale settings are rife with missing views and continuously emerging classes, which pose significant obstacles to robust learning. Prevailing methods are ill-equipped for this reality, as they either lack adaptability to new classes or incur exponential parameter growth when handling all possible missing-view patterns, severely limiting their scalability in web environments. To systematically address this gap, we formally introduce a novel task, termed \emph{incomplete multi-view multi-label class incremental learning} (IMvMLCIL), which requires models to simultaneously address heterogeneous missing views and dynamic class expansion. To tackle this task, we propose \textsf{E2PL}, an Effective and Efficient Prompt Learning framework for IMvMLCIL. \textsf{E2PL} unifies two novel prompt designs: \emph{task-tailored prompts} for class-incremental adaptation and \emph{missing-aware prompts} for the flexible integration of arbitrary view-missing scenarios. To fundamentally address the exponential parameter explosion inherent in missing-aware prompts, we devise an \emph{efficient prototype tensorization} module, which leverages atomic tensor decomposition to elegantly reduce the prompt parameter complexity from exponential to linear w.r.t. the number of views. We further incorporate a \emph{dynamic contrastive learning} strategy explicitly model the complex dependencies among diverse missing-view patterns, thus enhancing the model's robustness. Extensive experiments on three benchmarks demonstrate that \textsf{E2PL} consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods in both effectiveness and efficiency. The codes and datasets are available at https://anonymous.4open.science/r/code-for-E2PL.

The Potential of Erroneous Outbound Traffic Analysis to Unveil Silent Internal Anomalies

Passive measurement has traditionally focused on inbound traffic to detect malicious activity, based on the assumption that threats originate externally. In this paper, we offer a complementary perspective by examining outbound traffic, and argue that a narrow subset -- what we term erroneous outbound traffic -- is a lighter and revealing yet overlooked data source for identifying a broad range of security threats and network problems. This traffic consists of packets sent by internal hosts that either receive no response, trigger ICMP errors, or are ICMP error messages themselves generated in response to unsolicited requests. To demonstrate its potential, we collect and analyse erroneous traffic from a large network, uncovering a variety of previously unnoticed issues, including misconfigurations, obsolete deployments and compromised hosts.

Competing Antiferromagnetic Phases in Multiferroic Wurtzite Transition-Metal Chalcogenides

Antiferromagnetic (AFM) spintronics offers a pathway toward electrically controllable spin-based devices beyond ferromagnets. Here, we identify wurtzite MnX (X = S, Se, Te) as a family of multiferroic materials hosting competing AFM phases, including altermagnetic, where nonrelativistic spin splitting can be controlled by ferroelectric polarization. Using density-functional theory and atomistic spin-model calculations, we show that all pristine MnX compounds stabilize a stripe type collinear AFM ground state, contrary to earlier predictions of an altermagnetic ground state, with the magnetic order governed by frustrated Heisenberg and biquadratic exchange interactions. We further demonstrate that Cr doping drives a transition to an A-type AFM phase that breaks Kramers spin degeneracy and realizes a g-wave altermagnetic state with large nonrelativistic spin splitting near the Fermi level. Importantly, this spin splitting can be deterministically reversed by polarization switching, enabling electric-field control of altermagnetic electronic structure without reorienting the Neel vector or relying on spin-orbit coupling. The close energetic proximity of the stripe AFM to a noncollinear all-in-all-out configuration indicates that wurtzite MnX lies near a topological magnetic phase with finite scalar spin chirality, which may be stabilized by modest perturbations such as temperature, strain or chemical tuning. The distinct magnetic phases exhibit symmetry selective linear and non-linear Hall responses, providing direct transport signatures of altermagnetism and polarization control. Together, these results establish doped wurtzite MnX as a promising platform for altermagnet-ferroelectric multiferroics and electrically AFM spintronics.

On the Stochastic Analysis of Random Linear Streaming Codes in Multi-Hop Relay Networks

In this paper, we aim to explore the stochastic performance limit of large-field-size Random Linear Streaming Codes (RLSCs) in multi-hop relay networks. In our model, a source transmits a sequence of streaming messages to a destination through multiple relays subject to a delay constraint. Most previous research focused on deterministic adversarial channel which introduces only restricted types of erasure patterns, and aimed to design the optimal capacity-achieving codes. In this paper, we focus on stochastic channel where each hop is subject to i.i.d. packet erasures, and carry out stochastic analysis on the error probability of multi-hop RLSCs. Our contributions are three-folds. Firstly, the error event of large-field-size RLSCs is characterized in two-hop relay network with a novel framework, which features quantification of information flowing through each node in the network. Due to the erasures in different hops, some source symbols can be "detained" at the source or relay while others have arrived at the destination. By iteratively computing the number of detained symbols at each node, this framework extends the concept "information debt" from point-to-point network [Pinwen Su et al. 2022] into two-hop relay networks. Secondly, based on the error event, the expression of average error probability in two-hop network is derived by carefully analyzing the expectation terms. To handle the expectation over all possible erasure patterns along two hops of the network, the transition matrices of the detained symbols are novelly constructed in a "band fashion" with nested structure. Thirdly, the derived results in two-hop network are further generalized into relay networks with arbitrary number of hops. Furthermore, simulations are conducted to verify the accuracy of our stochastic analysis, and compare with some existing streaming codes for the adversarial channels.

E-Navi: Environmental Adaptive Navigation for UAVs on Resource Constrained Platforms

The ability to adapt to changing environments is crucial for the autonomous navigation systems of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). However, existing navigation systems adopt fixed execution configurations without considering environmental dynamics based on available computing resources, e.g., with a high execution frequency and task workload. This static approach causes rigid flight strategies and excessive computations, ultimately degrading flight performance or even leading to failures in UAVs. Despite the necessity for an adaptive system, dynamically adjusting workloads remains challenging, due to difficulties in quantifying environmental complexity and modeling the relationship between environment and system configuration. Aiming at adapting to dynamic environments, this paper proposes E-Navi, an environmental-adaptive navigation system for UAVs that dynamically adjusts task executions on the CPUs in response to environmental changes based on available computational resources. Specifically, the perception-planning pipeline of UAVs navigation system is redesigned through dynamic adaptation of mapping resolution and execution frequency, driven by the quantitative environmental complexity evaluations. In addition, E-Navi supports flexible deployment across hardware platforms with varying levels of computing capability. Extensive Hardware-In-the-Loop and real-world experiments demonstrate that the proposed system significantly outperforms the baseline method across various hardware platforms, achieving up to 53.9% navigation task workload reduction, up to 63.8% flight time savings, and delivering more stable velocity control.
