WorldJen: An End-to-End Multi-Dimensional Benchmark for Generative Video Models

Evaluating generative video models remains an open problem. Reference-based metrics such as Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) reward pixel fidelity over semantic correctness, while Frechet Video Distance (FVD) favors distributional textures over physical plausibility. Binary Visual Question Answering (VQA) based benchmarks like VBench~2.0 are prone to yes-bias and rely on low-resolution auditors that miss temporal failures. Moreover, their prompts target a single dimension at a time, multiplying the number of videos required while still not guaranteeing reliable results. WorldJen addresses these limitations directly. Binary VQA is replaced with Likert-scale questionnaires graded by a VLM that receives frames at native video resolution. Video generation costs are addressed by using adversarially curated prompts that are designed to exercise up to 16 quality dimensions simultaneously. The framework is built around two interlocking contributions. First, A blind human preference study is conducted, accumulating (2,696 pairwise annotations from 7 annotators with 100% pair coverage over 50 of the curated prompts $\times$ 6 state-of-the-art video models. A mean inter-annotator agreement of 66.9% is achieved and the study establishes a human ground-truth Bradley-Terry (BT) rating with a three-tier structure. Second, A VLM-as-a-judge evaluation engine using prompt-specific, dimension-specific Likert questionnaires (10 questions per dimension, 47,160 scored responses) judges the videos and reproduces the human-established three-tier BT rating structure independently. The VLM achieves a Spearman $\hat{\rho}=1.000,~p=0.0014$ that is interpreted as tier agreement with the human results. Six focused ablation studies validate the robustness of the VLM evaluation framework. Project page: https://moonmath.ai/worldjen/

Scattering Amplitudes in $\mathcal{N} = 3$ Supersymmetric $SU(N)$ Chern-Simons-Matter Theory at Large $N$

We study $\mathcal{N} = 3$ supersymmetric Chern-Simons-matter theory coupled to matter in the fundamental representation of $SU(N)$. In the 't Hooft large $N$ limit, we compute the exact $2 \to 2$ scattering amplitudes of the fundamental scalar superfields to all orders in the 't Hooft coupling $\lambda$. Our computations are presented in $\mathcal{N} = 1$ superspace and make significant use of the residual $SO(2)_R$ symmetry in order to solve for the exact four-point correlator of the scalar superfields. By taking the on-shell limit, we are able to extract the exact $2 \to 2$ scattering amplitudes of bosons/fermions in the symmetric, anti-symmetric and adjoint channels of scattering. We find that the scattering amplitude of the $\mathcal{N} = 3$ theory in the planar limit is tree-level exact to all orders in the 't Hooft coupling $\lambda$. The result is consistent with the conjectured bosonization duality and is expected to have enhanced symmetry structures such as dual superconformal symmetry and Yangian symmetry.

Mass-deformed $\mathcal{N} = 3$ Supersymmetric Chern-Simons-Matter Theory

The maximal extension of supersymmetric Chern-Simons theory coupled to fundamental matter has $\mathcal{N} = 3$ supersymmetry. In this short note, we provide the explicit form of the action for the mass-deformed $\mathcal{N} = 3$ supersymmetric $U(N)$ Chern-Simons-Matter theory. The theory admits a unique triplet mass deformation term consistent with supersymmetry. We explicitly construct the mass-deformed $\mathcal{N} = 3$ theory in $\mathcal{N} = 1$ superspace using a fundamental and an anti-fundamental superfield.

Correlation functions in ${\cal N}=2$ Supersymmetric vector matter Chern-Simons theory

We compute the two, three point function of the opearators in the spin zero multiplet of ${\cal N}=2$ Supersymmetric vector matter Chern-Simons theory at large $N$ and at all orders of 't Hooft coupling by solving the Schwinger-Dyson equation. Schwinger-Dyson method to compute four point function becomes extremely complicated and hence we use bootstrap method to solve for four point function of scaler operator $J_0^{f}=\bar\psi \psi$ and $J_0^{b}=\bar\phi \phi$. Interestingly, due to the fact that $\langle J_0^{f}J_0^{f}J_0^{b} \rangle$ is a contact term, the four point function of $ J_0^{f}$ operator looks like that of free theory up to overall coupling constant dependent factors and up to some bulk AdS contact terms. On the other hand the $J_0^{b}$ four-point function receives an additional contribution compared to the free theory expression due to the $J_0^{f}$ exchange. Interestingly, double discontinuity of this single trace operator $J_0^{f}$ vanishes and hence it only contributes to AdS-contact term.

All tree level scattering amplitudes in Chern-Simons theories with fundamental matter

We show that Britto-Cachazo-Feng-Witten (BCFW) recursion relations can be used to compute all tree level scattering amplitudes in terms of $2\rightarrow2$ scattering amplitude in $U(N)$ ${\mathcal N}=2$ Chern-Simons (CS) theory coupled to matter in fundamental representation. As a byproduct, we also obtain a recursion relation for the CS theory coupled to regular fermions, even though in this case standard BCFW deformations do not have a good asymptotic behaviour. Moreover at large $N$, $2\rightarrow 2$ scattering can be computed exactly to all orders in 't Hooft coupling as was done in earlier works by some of the authors. In particular, for ${\mathcal N}=2$ theory, it was shown that $2\rightarrow 2$ scattering is tree level exact to all orders except in the anyonic channel arXiv:1505.06571, where it gets renormalized by a simple function of 't Hooft coupling. This suggests that it may be possible to compute the all loop exact result for arbitrary higher point scattering amplitudes at large $N$.

Dual Superconformal Symmetry of ${\cal N}=2$ Chern-Simons theory with Fundamental Matter at Large $N$

Dual conformal symmetry and Yangian symmetry are symmetries of amplitudes that have aided the study of scattering amplitudes in highly supersymmetric theories like ${\cal N}=4$ SYM and ABJM. However, in general such symmetries are absent from the theories with lesser or no supersymmetry. In this paper, we show that the tree level $2\to 2$ scattering amplitude in the 3d ${\cal N}=2$ Chern-Simons theory coupled to a fundamental chiral multiplet is dual superconformal invariant. In the 't Hooft large $N$ limit, the $2\to 2$ scattering amplitude in this theory has been shown to be tree-level exact in non-anyonic channels, while having only an overall multiplicative coupling dependent renormalisation in the anyonic channel. Therefore, the dual superconformal symmetry that we demonstrate in this paper is all loop exact. This is unlike the previously studied highly supersymmetric theories where dual superconformal symmetry is anomalous at loop levels. Furthermore, we reverse the argument to study the extent to which dual superconformal invariance fixes the scattering amplitude in an ${\cal N}=2$ supersymmetric theory. We demonstrate that requiring the dual superconformal invariance completely fixes the momentum dependence of the $2\to2$ amplitude, while the coupling constant dependence remain unfixed. Further, we use a combination of parity invariance, unitarity and self-duality of the amplitude to constrain the coupling dependence of scattering amplitude.

On the Supersymmetry of Bianchi attractors in Gauged supergravity

Bianchi attractors are near horizon geometries with homogeneous symmetries in the spatial directions. We construct supersymmetric Bianchi attractors in $\mathcal{N}=2, d=4,5$ gauged supergravity. In $d=4$ we consider gauged supergravity coupled to vector and hypermultiplets. In $d=5$ we consider gauged supergravity coupled to vector multiplets with a generic gauging of symmetries of the scalar manifold and the $U(1)_R$ gauging of the $R$-symmetry. Analyzing the gaugino conditions we show that when the fermionic shifts do not vanish there are no supersymmetric Bianchi attractors. This is analogous to the known condition that for maximally supersymmetric solutions, all the fermionic shifts must vanish. When the central charge satisfies an extremization condition, some of the fermionic shifts vanish and supersymmetry requires that the symmetries of the scalar manifold do not be gauged. This allows supersymmetric Bianchi attractors sourced by massless gauge fields and a cosmological constant. In five dimensions in the Bianchi I class we show that the anisotropic $AdS_3\times\mathbb{R}^2$ solution is $1/2$ BPS. We also construct a new class of $1/2$ BPS Bianchi III geometries labeled by the central charge. When the central charge takes a special value the Bianchi III geometry reduces to the known $AdS_3\times\mathbb{H}^2$ solution. For the Bianchi V and VII classes the radial spinor breaks all of supersymmetry. We briefly discuss the conditions for possible massive supersymmetric Bianchi solutions by generalizing the matter content to include tensor, hypermultiplets and a generic gauging on the R symmetry.

Unitarity, Crossing Symmetry and Duality in the scattering of ${\cal N}=1$ Susy Matter Chern-Simons theories

We study the most general renormalizable ${\cal N}=1$ $U(N)$ Chern-Simons gauge theory coupled to a single (generically massive) fundamental matter multiplet. At leading order in the 't Hooft large $N$ limit we present computations and conjectures for the $2 \times 2$ $S$ matrix in these theories; our results apply at all orders in the 't Hooft coupling and the matter self interaction. Our $S$ matrices are in perfect agreement with the recently conjectured strong weak coupling self duality of this class of theories. The consistency of our results with unitarity requires a modification of the usual rules of crossing symmetry in precisely the manner anticipated in arXiv:1404.6373, lending substantial support to the conjectures of that paper. In a certain range of coupling constants our $S$ matrices have a pole whose mass vanishes on a self dual codimension one surface in the space of couplings.

Stable Bianchi III attractor in $U(1)_R$ gauged supergravity

Bianchi attractors are homogeneous but anisotropic extremal black brane horizons. We study the $AdS_3 \times \mathbb{H}^2$ solution which is a special case of Bianchi type III in a $U(1)_R$ gauged supergravity. For a wide range of values for certain free parameters in gauged supergravity, there exist a large class of solutions that satisfy conditions for the attractor mechanism to hold. We investigate the response of the solution against linearized fluctuations of the scalar field. The sufficient conditions for the attractor mechanism ensure that there exist a solution for the scalar fluctuation which dies out at the horizon. Furthermore, we solve for the gauge field and metric fluctuations that are sourced by scalar fluctuations and show that they are well behaved near the horizon. Thus, we have an example of a stable Bianchi attractor in gauged supergravity. We also analyze the Killing spinor equations of gauged supergravity in the background of our solution. We find that a radial Killing spinor consistent with the Bianchi III symmetry breaks supersymmetry.

Stability of Bianchi attractors in Gauged Supergravity

In this paper, we analyse the stability of extremal black brane horizons with homogeneous symmetry in the spatial directions in five dimensional gauged supergravity, under the fluctuations of the scalar fields about their attractor values. We examine the scalar fluctuation equations at the linearised level and demand that the fluctuations vanish as one approaches the horizon. Imposing certain restrictions on the Killing vectors used for gauging we find that the necessary conditions for stability are satisfied only by a subclass of the Bianchi metrics whose symmetry group factorises into a two dimensional Lifshitz symmetry and any homogeneous symmetry group given by the Bianchi classification. We apply these results to a simple example of a gauged supergravity model with one vector multiplet to find the stable attractors.

Generalized Attractors in Five-Dimensional Gauged Supergravity

In this paper we study generalized attractors in N=2 gauged supergravity theory in five dimensions coupled to arbitrary number of hyper, vector and tensor multiplets. We look for attractor solutions with constant anholonomy coefficients. By analyzing the equations of motion we derive the attractor potential. We further show that the generalized attractor potential can be obtained from the fermionic shifts. We study some simple examples and show that constant anholonomy gives rise to homogeneous black branes in five dimensions.

A non-commuting twist in the partition function

We compute a twisted index for an orbifold theory when the twist generating group does not commute with the orbifold group. The twisted index requires the theory to be defined on moduli spaces that are compatible with the twist. This is carried out for CHL models at special points in the moduli space where they admit dihedral symmetries. The commutator subgroup of the dihedral groups are cyclic groups that are used to construct the CHL orbifolds. The residual reflection symmetry is chosen to act as a `twist' on the partition function. The reflection symmetries do not commute with the orbifolding group and hence we refer to this as a non-commuting twist. We count the degeneracy of half-BPS states using the twisted partition function and find that the contribution comes mainly from the untwisted sector. We show that the generating function for these twisted BPS states are related to the Mathieu group M_{24}.
