Constraints on the magnetized Ernst black hole spacetime through quasiperiodic oscillations

We study the dynamics of test particles around a magnetized Ernst black hole considering its magnetic field in the environment surrounding the black hole. We show how its magnetic field can influence the dynamics of particles and epicyclic motion around the black hole. Based on the analysis, we find that the radius of the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) for both neutral and charged test particles and epicyclic frequencies are strongly affected by the influence of the magnetic field. We also show that the ISCO radius of charged particles decreases rapidly. It turns out that the gravitational and Lorentz forces of the magnetic field are combined, thus strongly shrinking the values of the ISCO of charged test particles. Finally, we obtain the generic form for the epicyclic frequencies and select three microquasars with known astrophysical quasiperiodic oscillation (QPO) data to constrain the magnetic field. We show that the magnetic field is of the order of magnitude $B\sim 10^{-7}$ Gauss, taking into account the motion of neutral particles in circular orbit about the black hole.

AGN-driven Cold Gas Outflow of NGC 1068 Characterized by Dissociation-Sensitive Molecules

Recent developments in (sub-)millimeter facilities have drastically changed the amount of information obtained from extragalactic spectral scans. In this paper, we present a feature extraction technique using principal component analysis (PCA) applied to arcsecond-resolution (1.0-2.0 arcsec = 72-144 pc) spectral scan datasets for the nearby type-2 Seyfert galaxy, NGC 1068, using Band 3 of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array. We apply PCA to 16 well-detected molecular line intensity maps convolved to a common 150 pc resolution. In addition, we include the [SIII]/[SII] line ratio and [CI] $^3P_1$-$^3P_0$ maps in the literature, both of whose distributions show remarkable resemblance with that of a kpc-scale biconical outflow from the central AGN. We identify two prominent features: (1) central concentration at the circumnuclear disk (CND) and (2) two peaks across the center that coincide with the biconical outflow peaks. The concentrated molecular lines in the CND are mostly high-dipole molecules (e.g., H$^{13}$CN, HC$_3$N, and HCN). Line emissions from molecules known to be enhanced in irradiated interstellar medium, CN, C$_2$H, and HNC, show similar concentrations and extended components along the bicone, suggesting that molecule dissociation is a dominant chemical effect of the cold molecular outflow of this galaxy. Although further investigation should be made, this scenario is consistent with the faintness or absence of the emission lines from CO isotopologues, CH$_3$OH, and N$_2$H$^+$, in the outflow, which are easily destroyed by dissociating photons and electrons.

Tunneling Analysis of Kerr-Newman Black Hole-Like Solution in Rastall Theory

Hamilton-Jacobi ansatz is used to analyze boson charged particles tunneling in Rastall gravity Kerr- Newman black hole (BH) surrounded by perfect fluid matter through the horizon. The geometrical BH parameters are observed, how these are affecting the radiation utilizing the Lagrangian gravity equation. In this article, the corrected Hawking temperature is computed by considering the effects of quantum gravity. In our analysis, the Rastall gravity BH solution surround by perfect fluid matter effects on Hawking radiation is analyzed graphically. Moreover, the stability and instability of Rastall gravity BH are investigated. The influence of quantum gravity and rotation parameters on BH radiation are also observed by graphical representation.

Compact stellar model in higher torsion gravitational theory

In this study, we address the issue of a spherically symmetrical interior solution to the quadratic form of $f\mathcal{(T)}=\mathcal{T}+ε\mathcal{T}^2$ gravitational theory using a physical tetrad that provides vanishing components of the off-components of the field equation, in contrast to what exists in the current literature. To be able to formulate the resulting differential equation in a closed form, we employ the Krori-Barua (KB) ansatz. Using the KB spacetime form, we derive the analytic form of the energy-density, radial, and tangential pressures and the anisotropic form. All of these quantities are affected by the dimensional parameter $ε$, which causes them to have a noted difference from those given in the frame of Einstein general relativity. The derived model of this study exhibits a non-trivial form of torsion scalar, and it also contains three constants that we drew from the matching of the boundary condition with a line element that also features a non-trivial form of torsion scalar. Having established the physical conditions that are needed for any real stellar, we check our model and show in detail that it bypasses all of these. Finally, we analyze the model's stability utilizing the Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff equation and adiabatic index and show that our model satisfies these.

Cylindrically symmetric and plane-symmetric solutions in $f(R)$ theory via Noether symmetries

The $f(R)$ theory is considered for static cylindrically symmetric and plane-symmetric spacetimes. In order to find solutions to the field equations of these models, the Noether symmetry method is used. First, we examine the GR case for cylindrically symmetrical space-time with the $w=-1$ dark energy state. Then, with the assumption of $f(R) = f_0R^n$, cases with matter and non-matter are examined and general solutions are determined for both space-times. Thus, it is shown that inclusive new solutions are obtained, considering the Noether symmetric conditions. In addition, the GR limit for each cases are examined.

Helical magnetogenesis with reheating phase from higher curvature coupling and baryogenesis

We investigate the generation of helical magnetic fields and address the baryon asymmetry of the universe from an inflationary magnetogenesis scenario, in which the conformal and parity symmetries of the electromagnetic field are broken through its coupling to the Ricci scalar and to the Gauss-Bonnet invariant via the dual field tensor, so that the generated magnetic field can have a helical nature. Depending on the reheating mechanism, we consider two different cases - (1) instantaneous reheating scenario, in which case the reheating e-fold number is zero, and (2) Kamionkowski reheating scenario which is parametrized by a non-zero e-fold number, a reheating equation of state parameter and a given reheating temperature. It is demonstrated that for both the reheating mechanisms, the generated magnetic fields can be compatible with the observations for suitable range of the model parameter present in the non-minimal coupling of the electromagnetic field. Actually the present magnetogenesis model does not produce sufficient hierarchy between the electric and magnetic fields at the end of inflation, and thus the electric field is not able to sufficiently induce (or enhance) the magnetic field during the Kamionkowski reheating stage. This in turn makes both the reheating cases almost similar from the perspective of magnetic field's evolution. Furthermore we find that the magnetic fields at the galactic scale with strength $\sim 10^{-13}\mathrm{G}$ can lead to the resultant value of the ratio of the baryonic number density to the entropy density as large as $\sim 10^{-10}$, which is consistent with the observational data.

The Kiloparsec-scale Neutral Atomic Carbon Outflow in the Nearby Type-2 Seyfert Galaxy NGC 1068: Evidence for Negative AGN Feedback

Active galactic nucleus (AGN) feedback is postulated as a key mechanism for regulating star formation within galaxies. Studying the physical properties of the outflowing gas from AGN is thus crucial for understanding the co-evolution of galaxies and supermassive black holes. Here we report 55 pc resolution ALMA neutral atomic carbon [CI] $^3P_1\text{-}^3P_0$ observations toward the central 1 kpc of the nearby type-2 Seyfert galaxy NGC 1068, supplemented by 55 pc resolution CO($J=1\text{-}0$) observations. We find that [CI] emission within the central kpc is strongly enhanced by a factor of $>$5 compared to the typical [CI]/CO intensity ratio of $\sim$0.2 for nearby starburst galaxies (in units of brightness temperature). The most [CI]-enhanced gas (ratio $>$ 1) exhibits a kpc-scale elongated structure centered at the AGN that matches the known biconical ionized gas outflow entraining molecular gas in the disk. A truncated, decelerating bicone model explains well the kinematics of the elongated structure, indicating that the [CI] enhancement is predominantly driven by the interaction between the ISM in the disk and the highly inclined ionized gas outflow (which is likely driven by the radio jet). Our results strongly favor the "CO dissociation scenario" rather than the "in-situ C formation" one which prefers a perfect bicone geometry. We suggest that the high [CI]/CO intensity ratio gas in NGC 1068 directly traces ISM in the disk that is currently dissociated and entrained by the jet and the outflow, i.e., the "negative" effect of the AGN feedback.

Quasi Static Evolution of Compact Objects in Modified Gravity

In this paper, the quasi static-approximation on the hydrodynamics of compact objects is proposed in $f(R, T)$ gravity, where $R$ is the scalar curvature and $T$ is the trace of stress-energy tensor, by exploring the axial and reflection symmetric space time stuffed with anisotropic and dissipative matter contents. The set of invariant-velocities is defined to comprehend the concept of quasi static-approximation. As a consequence, the evolution of compact objects is shown by analyzing the corresponding modified field, dynamical and scalar equations in this approximation to evoke all the feasible outcomes. Furthermore, the significance of kinematical quantities, modified heat-fluxes and scalar variables are found through the proposed approximation.

New static cylindrical symmetric solutions in GR for unfamiliar EoS parameter values via Noether symmetry

The solutions for the field equations of $f(R)$ gravity are investigated in static cylindrically symmetric space-time. Conserved quantities of the system, as well as unknown functions, can be determined with the help of the Noether symmetry method. In this article, some unknown values of the equations of state parameter (EoS) have emerged as a result of the constraints obtained by analyzing the Noether symmetry equations for the $f(R)=f_0 R$ case. Consequently, several new exact solutions have been found for cases of General Relativity in static cylindrically symmetrical space-time for the non-dust matter.

Inflationary universe from anomaly-free $F(R)$-gravity

By adding a three dimensional manifold to an eleven dimensional manifold in supergravity, we obtain the action of $F(R)$-gravity and find that it is anomaly free. We calculate the scale factor of the inflationary universe in this model, and observe that it is related to the slow-roll parameters. The scalar-tensor ratio R\_(scalar-tensor) is in good agreement with experimental data.

Formation of Cylindrical Gravastars in Modified Gravity

In this paper, we analyze a few physical characteristics of gravastar with cylindrical geometry in $f(R,T)$ theory, where $R$ is the Ricci scalar and $T$ is the trace of energy-momentum tensor. The gravastar is generally considered to be a substitute of a black hole with three different regions. In the present work, we examine the formulation of gravastar-like cylindrical structures in $f(R,T)$ theory. By using Darmois and Israel matching conditions, we formulate a mass function of a thin shell. We calculate the different physical characteristics of gravastar, in particular, entropy within the thin shell, proper length of the intermediate thin shell as well as energy of the shell.

Tsallis holographic dark energy for inflation

The application of holographic principle in very early time is studied. The consideration of the principle in the late-time evolution will be a good motivation to study its role at the time of inflation. Since the length scale is expected to be small during inflation, the resulted energy density form the holographic principle is expected to be large enough to drive inflation. The entropy of the system is the main part of the holographic principle, in which modifying entropy will leads to a modified energy density. Here, instead of the original entropy, we are going to apply a modified entropy, known as Tsallis entropy which includes quantum corrections. The length scale is assumed to be GO length scale. Finding an analytical solution for the model, the slow-roll parameters, scalar spectral index, and tensor-to-scalar ratio are calculated. Comparing the result, with Planck $r-n_s$ diagram, we could find a parametric space for the constants of the model. Then, a correspondence between the holographic dark energy and the scalar field is constructed, and the outcome potentials are investigated.

Higher dimensional rotating black hole solutions in quadratic $f(R)$ gravitational theory and the conserved quantities

We explore the quadratic form of the $f(R)=R+bR^2$ gravitational theory to derive rotating $N$-dimensions black hole solutions with $a_i, i\geq 1$ rotation parameters. Here, $R$ is the Ricci scalar, and $b$ is the dimensional parameter. We assumed that the $N$-dimensional spacetime is static and has flat horizons with a zero curvature boundary. We investigated the physics of black holes by calculating the relations of physical quantities such as the horizon radius and mass. We also demonstrate that in the four-dimensional case, the higher-order curvature does not contribute to the black hole,i.e., black hole does not depend on the dimensional parameter $b$ whereas in the case of $N>4$, it depends on parameter $b$ owing to the contribution of the correction $R^2$ term. We analyze the conserved quantities, energy, and angular-momentum, of black hole solutions by applying the relocalization method. Additionally, we calculate the thermodynamic quantities such as temperature and entropy and examine the stability of black hole solutions locally and show that they have thermodynamic stability. Moreover, the calculations of entropy put a constraint on the parameter $b$ to be $b<\frac{1}{16Λ}$ to obtain a positive entropy.

Nambu Dynamics and Hydrodynamics of Granular Material

On the basis of the intimate relation between Nambu dynamics and the hydrodynamics, the hydrodynamics on a non-commutative space (obtained by the quantization of space), proposed by Nambu in his last work, is formulated as ``hydrodynamics of granular material''. In Part 1, the quantization of space is done by Moyal product, and the hydrodynamic simulation is performed for the so obtained two dimensional fluid, which flows inside a canal with an obstacle. The obtained results differ between two cases in which the size of a fluid particle is zero and finite. The difference seems to come from the behavior of vortices generated by an obstacle. In Part 2 of quantization, considering vortex as a string, two models are examined; one is the ``hybrid model'' in which vortices interact with each other by exchanging Kalb-Ramond fields (a generalization of stream functions), and the other is the more general ``string field theory'' in which Kalb-Ramond field is one of the excitation mode of string oscillations. In the string field theory, Altarelli-Parisi type evolution equation is introduced. It is expected to describe the response of distribution function of vortex inside a turbulence, when the energy scale is changed. The behaviour of viscosity differs in the string theory, being compared with the particle theory, so that Landau theory of fluid to introduce viscosity may be modified. In conclusion, the hydrodynamics and the string theory are almost identical theories. It should be noted, however, that the string theory to reproduce a given hydrodynamics is not a usual string theory.

Inflationary magnetogenesis with reheating phase from higher curvature coupling

We investigate the generation of magnetic fields from inflation, which occurs via breakdown of the conformal invariance of the electromagnetic (EM) field, when coupled with the Ricci scalar and the Gauss-Bonnet invariant. For the case of instantaneous reheating, the resulting strength of the magnetic field at present is too small and violates the observational constraints. However, the problem is solved provided there is a reheating phase with a non-zero e-fold number. During reheating, the energy density of the magnetic field is seen to evolve as $(a^3H)^{-2}$ and, after that, as $a^{-4}$ up to the present epoch (here $a$ is the scale factor and $H$ the Hubble parameter). It is found that this reheating phase -- characterized by a certain e-fold number, a constant value of the equation of state parameter, and a given reheating temperature -- renders the magnetogenesis model compatible with the observational constraints. The model provides, in turn, a viable way of constraining the reheating equation of state parameter, from data analysis of the cosmic microwave background radiation. Moreover we discuss the Schwinger backreaction in the present context and determine the necessary constraints on the reheating equation of state parameter.

Tunneling Under the Influence of Quantum Gravity in Black Rings

We explore the Lagrangian equation in the background of generalized uncertainty principle. The tunneling radiation through the black ring horizon is observed. We investigated the tunneling radiation through the Hamilton-Jacobi method for solutions of Einstein-Maxwell-dilation gravity theory. The radiation of black ring without back reaction and self interaction of particles are studied. Furthermore, we consider the quantum gravity effect on the stability of black ring.

Growth of Perturbations using Lambert$W$ Equation of State

Recently, a novel equation of state (EoS) parameter for dark energy has been introduced which deals with a special mathematical function, known as the Lambert$W$ function. In this paper, we study the effect on the growth of perturbations for the Lambert$W$ dark energy model. We perform the analysis for two different approaches. In the first case we consider the universe to be filled with two different fluid components, namely, the baryonic matter component and the Lambert$W$ dark energy component, while in the second case we consider that there is a single fluid component in the universe whose equation of state parameter is described by the Lambert$W$ function. We then compare the growth rates of Lambert$W$ model with that for a standard $Λ$CDM model as well as the CPL model. Our results indicate that the presence of Lambert$W$ dynamical dark energy sector changes the growth rate and affects the matter fluctuations in the universe to a great extent.

Measure of Complexity in Self-Gravitating Systems using Structure Scalars

The aim of this paper is to present the definition of complexity for static self-gravitating anisotropic matter proposed in $f(G,T)$ theory, where $G$ is the Gauss-Bonnet term and $T$ is the trace of energy momentum tensor. We evaluate field equations, Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff equation, mass functions and structure scalars. Among the calculated modified scalar variables that are obtained from the orthogonal splitting of Riemann tensor, a single scalar function has been identified as the complexity factor. After exploring the corresponding Tolmann mass function, it is seen that the complexity factor along with the $f(G,T)$ terms have greatly influenced its formulation and its role in the subsequent radial phases of the spherical system. We have also used couple of ansatz in order to discuss possible solutions of equations of motion in the study of the structure of compact object.
