Projective reconstruction in algebraic vision

We discuss the geometry of rational maps from a projective space of an arbitrary dimension to the product of projective spaces of lower dimensions induced by linear projections. In particular, we give an algebro-geometric variant of the projective reconstruction theorem by Hartley and Schaffalitzky [HS09].

Derived equivalence and Grothendieck ring of varieties: the case of K3 surfaces of degree 12 and abelian varieties

In this paper, we discuss the problem of whether the difference $[X]-[Y]$ of the classes of a Fourier--Mukai pair $(X, Y)$ of smooth projective varieties in the Grothendieck ring of varieties is annihilated by some power of the class $\mathbb{L} = [ \mathbb{A}^1 ]$ of the affine line. We give an affirmative answer for Fourier--Mukai pairs of very general K3 surfaces of degree 12. On the other hand, we prove that in each dimension greater than one, there exists an abelian variety such that the difference with its dual is not annihilated by any power of $\mathbb{L}$, thereby giving a negative answer to the problem. We also discuss variations of the problem.

Toric degenerations of integrable systems on Grassmannians and polygon spaces

We introduce a completely integrable system on the Grassmannian of 2-planes in an n-space associated with any triangulation of a polygon with n sides, and compute the potential function for its Lagrangian torus fiber. The moment polytopes of this system for different triangulations are related by an integral piecewise-linear transformation, and the corresponding potential functions are related by its geometric lift in the sense of Berenstein and Zelevinsky.

Moduli of noncommutative Hirzebruch surfaces

We introduce three non-compact moduli stacks parametrizing noncommutative deformations of Hirzebruch surfaces; the first is the moduli stack of locally free sheaf bimodules of rank 2, which appears in the definition of noncommutative $\mathbb{P}^1$-bundle in the sense of Van den Bergh arXiv:math/0102005, the second is the moduli stack of relations of a quiver in the sense of arXiv:1411.7770, and the third is the moduli stack of quadruples consisting of an elliptic curve and three line bundles on it. The main result of this paper shows that they are naturally birational to each other. We also give an Orlov-type semiorthogonal decomposition for noncommutative $\mathbb{P}^1$-bundles, an explicit classification of locally free sheaf bimodules of rank 2, and a noncommutative generalization of the (special) McKay correspondence as a derived equivalence for the cyclic group $\left\langle \frac{1}{d}(1,1) \right\rangle$.

Potential functions on Grassmannians of planes and cluster transformations

With a triangulation of a planar polygon with $n$ sides, one can associate an integrable system on the Grassmannian of 2-planes in an $n$-space. In this paper, we show that the potential functions of Lagrangian torus fibers of the integrable systems associated with different triangulations glue together by cluster transformations. We also prove that the cluster transformations coincide with the wall-crossing formula in Lagrangian intersection Floer theory.

$G_2$-Grassmannians and derived equivalences

We prove the derived equivalence of a pair of non-compact Calabi-Yau 7-folds, which are the total spaces of certain rank 2 bundles on $G_2$-Grassmannians. The proof follows that of the derived equivalence of Calabi-Yau 3-folds in $G_2$-Grassmannians by Kuznetsov closely.

Lagrangian sections on mirrors of toric Calabi-Yau 3-folds

We construct Lagrangian sections of a Lagrangian torus fibration on a 3-dimensional conic bundle, which are SYZ dual to holomorphic line bundles over the mirror toric Calabi-Yau 3-fold. We then demonstrate a ring isomorphism between the wrapped Floer cohomology of the zero-section and the regular functions on the mirror toric Calabi-Yau 3-fold. Furthermore, we show that in the case when the Calabi-Yau 3-fold is affine space, the zero section generates the wrapped Fukaya category of the mirror conic bundle. This allows us to complete the proof of one direction of homological mirror symmetry for toric Calabi-Yau orbifold quotients of the form $\mathbb{C}^3/\Check{G}$. We finish by describing some elementary applications of our computations to symplectic topology.

Goldman systems and bending systems

We show that the moduli space of parabolic bundles on the projective line and the polygon space are isomorphic, both as complex manifolds and symplectic manifolds equipped with structures of completely integrable systems, if the stability parameters are small.

On a certain generalization of triangle singularities

Triangle singularities are Fuchsian singularities associated with von Dyck groups, which are index two subgroups of Schwarz triangle groups. Hypersurface triangle singularities are classified by Dolgachev, and give 14 exceptional unimodal singularities classified by Arnold. We introduce a generalization of triangle singularities to higher dimensions, show that there are only finitely many hypersurface singularities of this type in each dimension, and give a complete list in dimension 3.

Compact moduli of noncommutative projective planes

We introduce the notion of the moduli stack of relations of a quiver. When the quiver with relations is derived-equivalent to an algebraic variety, the corresponding compact moduli scheme can be viewed as a compact moduli of noncommutative deformations of the variety. We study the case of noncommutative projective planes in detail, and discuss its relation with geometry of elliptic curves with level 3 structures.

Weighted projective lines as fine moduli spaces of quiver representations

We describe weighted projective lines in the sense of Geigle and Lenzing by a moduli problem on the canonical algebra of Ringel. We then go on to study generators of the derived categories of coherent sheaves on the total spaces of their canonical bundles, and show that they are rarely tilting. We also give a moduli construction for these total spaces for weighted projective lines with three orbifold points.

Floer cohomologies of non-torus fibers of the Gelfand-Cetlin system

The Gelfand-Cetlin system has non-torus Lagrangian fibers on some of the boundary strata of the moment polytope. We compute Floer cohomologies of such non-torus Lagrangian fibers in the cases of the 3-dimensional full flag manifold and the Grassmannian of 2-planes in a 4-space.

Tropical coamoeba and torus-equivariant homological mirror symmetry for the projective space

We introduce the notion of a tropical coamoeba which gives a combinatorial description of the Fukaya category of the mirror of a toric Fano stack. We show that the polyhedral decomposition of a real n-torus into (n + 1) permutohedra gives a tropical coamoeba for the mirror of the projective space, and prove a torus-equivariant version of homological mirror symmetry for the projective space. As a corollary, we obtain homological mirror symmetry for toric orbifolds of the projective space.
