Application of Noncommutative Differential Geometry on Lattice to Anomaly

The chiral anomaly in lattice abelian gauge theory is investigated by applying the geometric and topological method in noncommutative differential geometry(NCDG). A new kind of double complex and descent equation are proposed on infinite hypercubic lattice in arbitrary even dimensional Euclidean space, in the framework of NCDG. Using the general solutions to proposed descent equation, we derive the chiral anomaly in Abelian lattice gauge theory. The topological origin of anomaly is nothing but the Chern classes in NCDG.

Axial Anomaly in Lattice Abelian Gauge Theory in Arbitrary Dimensions

Axial anomaly of lattice abelian gauge theory in hyper-cubic regular lattice in arbitrary even dimensions is investigated by applying the method of exterior differential calculus. The topological invariance, gauge invariance and locality of the axial anomaly determine the explicit form of the topological part. The anomaly is obtained up to a multiplicative constant for finite lattice spacing and can be interpreted as the Chern character of the abelian lattice gauge theory.

Classically and Quantum Integrable Systems with Boundary

We study two-dimensional classically integrable field theory with independent boundary condition on each end, and obtain three possible generating functions for integrals of motion when this model is an ultralocal one. Classically integrable boundary condition can be found in solving boundary $K_{\pm}$ equations. In quantum case, we also find that unitarity condition of quantum $R$- matrix is sufficient to construct commutative quantities with boundary, and its reflection equations are obtained.

Classification of Solutions to Reflection Equation of Two-Component Systems

The symmetries, especially those related to the $R$-transformation, of the reflection equation(RE) for two-component systems are analyzed. The classification of solutions to the RE for eight-, six- and seven-vertex type $R$-matrices is given. All solutions can be obtained from those corresponding to the standard $R$-matrices by $K$-transformation. For the free-Fermion models, the boundary matrices have property $tr K_+(0)=0$, and the free-Fermion type $R$-matrix with the same symmetry as that of Baxter type corresponds to the same form of $K_-$-matrix for the Baxter type. We present the Hamiltonians for the open spin systems connected with our solutions. In particular, the boundary Hamiltonian of seven-vertex models was obtained with a generalization to the Sklyanin's formalism.

Classification of seven-vertex solutions of the coloured Yang-Baxter equation

In this paper all seven-vertex type solutions of the coloured Yang-Baxter equation dependent on spectral as well as coloured parameters are given. It is proved that they are composed of five groups of basic solutions, two groups of their degenerate forms up to five solution transformations. Moreover, all solutions can be claasified into two types called Baxter type and free-fermion type.

On Torsion and Nieh-Yan Form

Using the well-known Chern-Weil formula and its generalization, we systematically construct the Chern-Simons forms and their generalization induced by torsion as well as the Nieh-Yan (N-Y) forms. We also give an argument on the vanishing of integration of N-Y form on any compact manifold without boundary. A systematic construction of N-Y forms in D=4n dimension is also given.

Two Particle Physics Models With Spontaneous CP Violation From Gauge Theory On Discrete Group

Based on the differential calculus and the gauge theory on discrete groups, we reconstruct two physics models with spontaneous CP violation: (1) The Georgi-Glashow-Lee model with two Higgs triplets; (2) The Weinberg-Salam-Branco model with three Higgs doublets and the natural flavor conservation (NFC). We focus on the Lagrangian terms containing the Higgs particles and show that with an appropriate choice of the discrete groups, we can obtain the physically meaningful Yukawa couplings and the Higgs potentials which lead to the spontaneous CP violation consequently.

The Algebraic Structure of the $gl(n|m)$ Color Calogero-Sutherland Models

We extend the study on the algebraic structure of the $su(n)$ color Calogero-Sutherland models to the case of $gl(n|m)$ color CS model and show that the generators of the super-Yangian $Y(gl(n|m))$ can be obtained from two $gl(n|m)$ loop algebras. Also, a super $W_{\infty}$ algebra for the SUSY CS model is constructed.

Universal R-matrix Of The Super Yangian Double DY(gl(1|1))

Based on Drinfeld realization of super Yangian Double DY(gl(1|1)), its pairing relations and universal R-matrix are given. By taking evaluation representation of universal R-matrix, another realization $L^{\pm}(u)$ of DY(gl(1|1)) is obtained. These two realizations of DY(gl(1|1)) are related by the supersymmetric extension of Ding-Frenkel map.

Wilson--Yukawa Chiral Model on Lattice and Non-commutative Geometry

Based upon the mathematical formulas of Lattice gauge theory and non-commutative geometry differential calculus, we developed an approach of generalized gauge theory on a product of the spacetime lattice and the two discrete points(or a $Z_2$ discrete group). We introduce a differentiation for non-nearest-neighbour points and find that this differentiation may lead to the introduction of Wilson term in the free fermion Lagrangian on lattice. The Wilson-Yukawa chiral model on lattice is constructed by the generalized gauge theory and a toy model and Smit-Swift model are studied.

A Gauge Field Model On $SU(2)_L\times SU(2)_R\times U(1)_Y \times π_4(G_{YM})$

We reconstruct the Lagrangian of a left-right symmetric model with the gauge group $SU(2)_L\times SU(2)_R\times U(1)_Y \times π_4(SU(2)_L\times SU(2)_R\times U(1)_Y) $. The Higgs fields appear as gauge fields on discrete gauge group $π_4(SU(2)_L\times SU(2)_R\times U(1)_Y) $ and are assigned in a way complying with the principle that both the original gauge group $G_{YM}$ and the discrete group $π_4(G_{YM})$ should be taken as gauge groups in sense of non-commutative geometry.

Gauge theory on $Z_2 \times Z_2 \ti Z_2 $ Discrete Group and a Spontaneous $CP$ Violation Toy Model

In the spirit of Non-commutative differential calculus on discrete group, we construct a toy model of spontaneous $CP$ violation (SCPV). Our model is different from the well-known Weinberg-Branco model although it involves three Higgs doublets and preserve neutral flavor current conservation (NFC) after using the $Z_2 \ti Z_2 \ti Z_2$ discrete symmetry and imposing some constraints on Yukawa couplings.

The $σ$-Model and Non-commutative Geometry

In terms of non-commutative geometry, we show that the $σ$--model can be built up by the gauge theory on discrete group $Z_2$. We introduce a constraint in the gauge theory, which lead to the constraint imposed on linear $σ$ model to get nonlinear $σ$ model .
