Muonium-Antimuonium Conversion in Models with Dilepton Gauge Bosons

We examine the magnetic field dependence of the muonium($μ^+ e^-$) - antimuonium($μ^- e^+$) conversion in the models which accommodate the dilepton gauge bosons. The effective Hamiltonian for the conversion due to dileptons turns out to be in the $(V-A)\times(V+A)$ form and, in consequence, the conversion probability is rather insensitive to the strength of the magnetic field. The reduction is less than $20\%$ for up to $B \approx 300$ G and $33\%$ even in the large $B$ limit.

More on the Burkhardt-Cottingham Sum Rule in QCD

The QCD higher order effects to the polarized structure function $g_2(x, Q^2 )$ are reanalyzed for massive quarks in the context of the operator product expansion. We confirm that the lowest moment of $g_2 (x, Q^2 )$ which corresponds to the Burkhardt-Cottingham sum rule does {\sl not} suffer from radiative corrections in perturbative QCD.

The Background Field Method: Alternative Way of Deriving the Pinch Technique's Results

We show that the background field method (BFM) is a simple way of deriving the same gauge-invariant results which are obtained by the pinch technique (PT). For illustration we construct gauge-invariant self-energy and three-point vertices for gluons at one-loop level by BFM and demonstrate that we get the same results which were derived via PT. We also calculate the four-gluon vertex in BFM and show that this vertex obeys the same Ward identity that was found with PT.}

The Mass of the Lightest Supersymmetric Higgs Boson beyond the Leading Logarithm Approximation

We examine the radiative corrections to the mass of the lightest Higgs boson in the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model. We use the renormalization-group improved effective potential which includes the next-to-leading-order contributions. We find that, contrary to the result of Espinosa and Quirós, the higher-order corrections to the lightest Higgs boson mass are non-negligible, adding $3-11$ GeV ($3-9$ GeV) to the result in the leading logarithm approximation for the range of top quark mass $100 {\rm GeV} < m_t < 200 {\rm GeV}$ and for the supersymmetric breaking scale $M_{\rm SUSY} = 1 {\rm TeV}$ ($M_{\rm SUSY} = 10 {\rm TeV}$). Also we find that our result is stable under the change of the renormalization parameter $t$.
