Bounding regularity of $\mathrm{VI}^m$-modules

Fix a finite field $\mathbb{F}$. Let $\mathrm{VI}$ be a skeleton of the category of finite dimensional $\mathbb{F}$-vector spaces and injective $\mathbb{F}$-linear maps. We study $\mathrm{VI}^m$-modules over a noetherian commutative ring in the nondescribing characteristic case. We prove that if a finitely generated $\mathrm{VI}^m$-module is generated in degree $\leqslant d$ and related in degree $\leqslant r$, then its regularity is bounded above by a function of $m$, $d$, and $r$. A key ingredient of the proof is a shift theorem for finitely generated $\mathrm{VI}^m$-modules.

Homology of Rook-Brauer Algebras and Motzkin Algebras

Using the technique of inductive resolution introduced in arXiv:2303.07979, we prove that the homology of Rook-Brauer Algebra, interpreted as appropriate Tor-group, is isomorphic to that of symmetric group for all degrees under the assumption that $\epsilon$ in $R$ is invertible; furthermore, we also prove the homology of the Motzkin algebras vanishes in positive degrees under the same assumption. These results thereby establish homological stability of both algebras.

Noetherianity of Diagram Algebras

In this short paper, we establish the local Noetherian property for the linear categories of Brauer, partition algebras, and other related categories of diagram algebras with no restrictions on their various parameters.

Bounding regularity of $FI^m$-modules

Let $FI$ be a skeleton of the category of finite sets and injective maps, and $FI^m$ the product of $m$ copies of $FI$. We prove that if an $FI^m$-module is generated in degree $\leqslant d$ and related in degree $\leqslant r$, then its regularity is bounded above by a function of $m$, $d$, and $r$.

A noetherian criterion for sequences of modules

We prove a noetherian criterion for a sequence of modules with linear maps between them. This generalizes a noetherian criterion of Gan and Li for infinite EI categories. We apply our criterion to the linear categories associated to certain diagram algebras defined by Patzt.
